I had locked in those regions with in the first couple days of leagues being announced. Each reveal has just confirmed my choices. Wildy->Varlamore->Morytania
Forager and mining works good together because you can afk at rune essence to get 30x of every herb in the game. Secret Tech. Also with the strategy you guys mentioned about manipulating which herbs you get, you can turn the rune essence mine into a Ranarr mine.
One big thing I'm excited to try (which is why I picked Fremmy before the echoes were announced) is ranged build Venator bow. AoE spam never missing at 2t speed just sounds so tight.
this is a big draw for me. I THINK I'm leaning towards mory/frem/wildy at the current moment make sure you've got somewhere multicombat to use your venator bow :P

Isnt Contruction training really easy if you just buy a ton of bagged herbs? I remember that being super fast before. I feel like if someone has one of the regions with that shop, they dont need logs.
Super fast early levels for sure, also extremely expensive! So if you're thinking of picking Golden God that's fine, otherwise you'll want a cheaper alternative :)
Thanks for making this video, I was waiting for someone to make something talking about combat/echo gear + region choices. I wish you guys went a little more in-depth on the other choices you were considering because I think I'm struggling with similar considerations. I'm a pretty casual PvMer and I want to do a 6/3 melee/range build. I'm leaning towards a MWF to try the KBD dragon ward in melee vs Vork. The Dogsword also looks super fun, but I feel like Mory and Asgarnia have too much gear overlap to justify picking both. (I also think F isn't a bad pick for decent ranged w/ Venator bow). I'm sure there are similar difficult decisions around Ranged/Mage that could make for a good video that lots of people are looking for. The one thing I hate about the last two leagues is the FOMO around limited region picks. Three regions just feels like too few, even last year I felt like I wanted just one more region unlock to do everything that I thought would be fun. And on top of that I also have friends who are picking Desert for Raids =(
The most important thing about how strong the t3 mastery is, is that everyone can take it. Even if youre goung 6 melee or 6 mage, you can still get a 1t blowpipe. Or even if you arent taking desert or tirannwn for a bp, you still have 1t knives or darts. HOWEVER, mage t6 will suffer from the inverse of the berserker bug. Because you have to start your attack after the mob is below your max hit to be executed, you either have to constantly target switch so your projectiles can travel and hit the mob to get them down to the execute level OR you just waste an extra 3 hits per mob based on distance, which is mega bad. They should have changed it to be "when you strike a mob with magic whose remaining hp is less than your max hit, the mob is executed." This would allow you to "lead" mobs by firing, say, 3 attacks at it then changing targets before the first hit lands. Then the first 2 deal normal damage and the 3rd executes.
I actually have a genuine gripe. F 7 t 3 Both are in the same tier of "hard easy tasks with huge points if you have the right relic" F = BIS hy/tribrid T = BIS melee glass cannon Only REAL benefit to t is melee zulrah and no prep cg. Blowpipe 6r is 37 dps 2h Darts alone with f is 32 dps. I'm not saying t or f is better. But I don't think for a second they are so far apart. I'm picking wildy.. but the ONLY benefit to it is infinite money glitch (extremely early) Khopesh is same dps as noxious excluding spec. Scythe murders it anything that isn't a 1x1 And one last thing to add.... A 5/5 spec relic with asgarnia is just absolutely broken. Total recall into 5x dogsword 5x zcb spec. Sure you have to grind them out. But once you have them your dps is stupid if you want that spec build.
I think corner cutter is super redundant because dodgy deals will actually solve agility for you as well. glistening tears can be traded for thieving and agi xp and everyone has access to fossil island.
just started the video but you already made a great point regarding lumberjack. I was already thinking of picking it, but i did not consider the tree spirits, that's always one of my first grinds I have to do. So I think lumberjack is locked in now
watching the stream i just had a though process that have the potential to be extremely broken if possible: The recall relic saves your stats, correct? and you can save for example an overprayer, correct? so what if someone takes the ancient mace, which restores prayer on a successful hit, and then uses last stand to get to 255 stats, uses piety, does a hit on the target dummy and procs the Melee mastery t6 hits? and then save the result on the recall, could you have an absurd amount of prayer, forever?
@@theroh1552 yeah, i mean, having twice as much prayer is great, especially since in leagues you do more dps so most posses won't last until you deplete it all, especially with the prayer bonuses
I dig it. Run to boss, set recall. Tele home. Ancient mace, brew and restore. Recall to entrance. Reset recall with boosted stats. Begin 2 hour boss grinds/instances. Tho tbf with our power levels, not sure I'll need more than 99 prayer for any single fight outside raids/inferno/nm, etc.
22:22 i wil lsay that im blown away how amazing udnerwater thieving is and im excited AF to pick dodgy deals anyway, but im also glad that even though it make the agility relic almost a non choicve, theres still a lot to be said about getting your thieving in varlamore or other ways nad then ZERO TIMING your agility. haveing that level of true choice makes it fele even more amazing cause without a backup method for agility i almost felt forced into agility relic for fun and comfy even tho theviign is just hilarious even if your greifed a ton HAH
I was thinking of doing a range build and I feel like you guys just completely shat all over my plans 😢 Was thinking Varlamore, Desert, Asgarnia (Not in that order) but now I've got no clue.
Wildy is definitely 1 or 2 Slayer is so fast and most task are in multi with good drops Echo item is insane and you get wilderness weapons plus unlimited gold, so it scales fast for points since you get massive power spikes once you get a rev weapon for your build
I agree, i thought they rated wildy too low. I think it shoulda been 6) Valamore 5) Desert 4) Priff and 3) Wildy (maybe even 2). I think being a Raid region for starters should up Desert and it's not nearly as bad as they make it seem. Also, Wildy just offer so much to literally everything its a crazy region. Even last league it was heavily slept on, especially with nearly everything being a infinite money glitch. It's also a really fast point region., with really easy task being worth a lot. I'm not picking wildy on my first account, but I am forsure having an alt with it. Also, I think one of the only selling points for valarmore to me is coloseum, but even with being nearly unkillable, I don't think a lot of people will be able to do colo or echo sol. If people pick valarmore and are unable to do echo sol, they're insta locked out to 9 combat points and maybe even 8 if they can't do Zuk. I just think Valarmore is a lot worse then they make it seem.
Personally don't think rev weapons are worth grinding this year consdering you can go pretty dry and only use them in wildy. Accursed is the exception if maging. If you get them on task, cool, if not, don't wait for them. T6 darts do the same damage as Webweaver. And with the right regions are easy to supply, and give more healing/offhand options. Ursine is roughly 20% stronger than zombie axe. But zombie axe is 20% better outside wildy and the echo kbd isn't in wildy. If you end up picking Khopesh, you start speccing and most of the Wildy bosses drop regardless. I mean, all with 100% accuracy, all these bosses die in 10ish hits and drop 5x uniques. Is 3 seconds per kill on average worth the hours of revs? Ancients barrage with accursed is nice tho.
@ergofiction5627 my exact point 👉 wildy is definitely flexible but if you do hit drop rates it just gets better. Absolutely 💯 perfect leagues content because you don't really need other regions to get everything out of it
One of the funnest parts I think is watching the massive xp drop, so ill probably still rip through the tiers as quick as i can so i can watch that.... especially xp lamps to skip shitty skills
Animal wrangler was my number one choice but now that I can have that and mining, mining is an easy first, you get less effort early tasks out of the way and get very easy money which will accelerate progression granting quick access to Moon clan/lunar armour and Dramen staff, best magic offense early game.
Currently my relic choices are up in the air a little bit but most of them are solidified. I do plan on going double shines regions and I'm going to go 6/3/1 i believe. Bankers for sure.
Too bad you guys didn't wait to record this until the Combat relics were out lol. I'm interested to know which one each of you would pick. I know myself I'm going Last Stand cause I kinda regretted not picking it last Leagues and it would just fit so well with my planned tank ranger build lol.
im going to be a Banker's Note Barry and im going to enjoy it lol im currently planning on DVT 3-6-1 (really debating 6-3-1) so i can blast with range and have the crystal armour plus blessing to give melee a good boost to be a solid off style. i enjoy content in the desert (but ive started second guessing that too lol) and can get mega rares through TOA, havent really explored varlamore at all so o really want to dive into all the content there, tiranwnn is just skillers heaven plus zulrah and cheesing gauntlet with prayer penetration sounds really fun. Ill also be taking Dodgy Deals and Animal Wrangler for guaranteed chins and pickpocketing elves. Overgrown solves farming and herblore for me but im on the fence still for tier 4 and the Overgrown tier until we find out what the final relics are
In regards to the 'bad' aspect of the desert. Is it still bad if you want it for the drygore to have a switch to a ranged weapon as a main melee build?

Differences in opinion and having your own reasons for decision-making is what make Leagues so great! TFM for melee looks like a really strong path too
@ScriticRS yea absolutely. and you guys are right, it's cool to see that there are so many viable routes. pretty awesome stuff I also enjoy the banter but I probably hit a wrong tone with my Kandarin joke lol. I took a self harm PSA and changed all the instances of the self harn word that youtube hates and replaced then with "Kandarin" or "picking Kandarin". I can see why some might consider that a bit out of line lol well, sucks to be muted because I like DoubleShine a lot but that's the consequence of a joke in bad taste sometimes haha
Thoughts on sacrificing the extra echo hits from M6 for a 2tick bowfa/tbow and basically going 5-5-0 ? Also going WMT. I just feel like the extra options with R5 outweight the straight up extra DPS from R6. You'll also have less need from the T6 passive if you have both M5 and R5 for Hunleff ?
I think if you're going to be using a Bowfa and Tbow at max ranged anyway then you don't benefit loads from the T6 ranged mastery so that makes sense to me - even with t6 ranged, you're only going to benefit from 60% prayer pen, so having that other style to switch to with 5 points in it is probably going to result in quicker hunleff kills if that's what you're thinking
Cool, I'm also going ZAF, probably! However, I'm going 4/6/0. Yes, 6 range without any blowpipe. I'm just gonna combine dragon darts with a twisted buckler, which has exactly the same DPS as the drygore blowpipe, due to both of them giving +10 ranged strength.
I'm taking ADF... So mining is basically non existant in the desert... and I already kinda have mining/smithing figured out with Motherlode/Mining Guild and then finishing off with Blast Furnace. So I take wrangler and then Dodgy + Herb (Unless the other relic being revealed is better...)
Granite mining is the fastest mining xp in the game. Shooting stars are also like 400k xp an hour totally afk. Giants foundry is also over 3m xp an hour, so smithing isn't an issue either. I guess all i'm saying is don't lock in asgarnia if your only goal for it is mining/smithing.
@@TheKevin50cal My regions aren't for skilling. My relics are. Asg is for top tier melee/ranged endgame gear (i like nex). I'm going to go 5/5/0 since Drygore is insanely accurate, the relic passives give +100% accuracy, ranged is already incredibly accurate, and I will be taking the spec relic for dogsword. So most bosses/enemies who survive getting specced out will probably end up with either 0 or very low defense. Past few leagues ive taken the cautious choices like the revive relic. This time I'm gonna try to act like I've been here before (because i have xd). I'll have access to amethyst this way too in case dragon darts prove difficult to get. With fremennik, I'll have 99% ammo saved so I should only need a few drops from implings. When I mentioned the desert not having anything regarding mining, I meant regarding the mining RELIC. My bad. The mining relic doesn't seem to do too much for granite.
I’m a casual but love leagues. (Still don’t get to play too too much).. my goals are defeating zuk, doing colo, and attempting to solo or duo ToB with my brother. I plan to go 4-6-0 with varla, tirannwn, and mory. As a casual, I’ll probably try and get all 3 regions unlocked before going crazy with combat. (I’ll do t3 range for sure then go for regions). Which region should i pick first and second to maximize my chance of easier points? Thinking varla > tirnnwn > mory. Thoughts?
From the standpoint of another noob. I like your V and M picks, as it's stuff you want ro challenge yourself with. Pretty solid. However, T basically only consists of the red prison. Maybe consider A instead, for the void equip. It is amazing with 6 ranged. But yeah, in general, I'd just reconsider T, as it's not a direct goal and sounds very grindy for little benefit

So on the topic of the marks of grace, i always thought it was just a % increase, not a quantity increase. But what do i know. I dont know if it would make me switch to that relic, even though i hate training Agility aswell i do think the other 2 are stronger in their own way. It is an interesting one if it does increase the quantity aswell
varlamore, morytania and desert for me! ranged main/melee for attk styles can get tbow at tob and goes well with what attack styles im gonna do. and my ranged dps will still be very strong with drygore
From memory, you can't contact npc in zones you haven't unlocked... or Ami contact was disabled. I think I always had to tele back to Falador for another homes task, even with Fremmenik.
Tirannwn has Zulrah and CG. What else. Seriously. What other bosses and content? Pickpocketing Elves? Putting it above a raid region that has like 5 minin games (desert) where you can get three megarares, putting it above Wilderness that has TONS of resources and supplies and cash and bosses and content to keep things fun and interesting, What in the hell? Am I crazy?
I don't think I'm going to take Wrangler. Only region with chins for me will be Isle of Souls and that's whatever. I'm taking Varlamore, so I have hunter rumours, but I'm not worried about chins or impling jars as I can just get a generator or two and store them in the huntsmans kit. Probably taking the mining one
I'm thinking morytania, and two of varlamore, wildy, and tirranwyn. Kinda thinking TVM and go for soul reaper from vardorvis with the crystal armor and blessing. But I will be sad to miss the wildy kopesh.

I think mory has so much to offer, kind of doesnt need defending I think drygore seems really good when I ran it through dps calc iirc it was like +40% dps over karils at tier 3 range (this was only with addy darts also, 1 tick blowpipe goes BRRR) but I don't know if the calculator was doing karils calculations correctly or not with gloves of the damned (especially without range 6 the double accuracy rolls on the blowpipe should pop off) I think fang seems quite good also but I don't think it out dps'ed thunder khopesh but it was pretty close actually. I think we know why we're interested in fremmy, jewelry is just too insane I think if I actually opt for spec relic I'll end up in M/W/A or something, but I'm most likely doing M/W/F I think

Haven’t played in over year so don’t know all drops anymore. Thinking of going Wildy, Asgarnia, tirannwin. Someone tell me if this is a bad choice besides no raids. Heavily based on wanting to try echo weapons we won’t get in reg game.
Khopesh looks like a ton of fun ✅ Dogsword is going to be amazing especially if you're thinking of picking the special attack combat relic later on ✅ Crystal armour from tirannwn + crystal blessing echo item is going to pair really well with both of those ✅ If they're the regions you enjoy the content of then don't worry about efficiency and have fun! They'll be great :)

If you take frem and dont take animal wrangler your gonna have a MUCH harder time getting into dags. You will have no choice but to blast clue scrolls until you get the dags task or wait until later in the game when animal wranglers arent hunting ninja imps for rune thrown axes.
I know it wasn't particularly popular, but I picked Tirannwn for one of my playthroughs last league, and I felt like it was strong even then. If you're not the kind of person who enjoys Gauntlet or Zulrah, don't pick it of course, but if you do, it has a lot else to offer. The crystal crafting/smithing method is amazing, red chins, solid agility course, bankers note death runes. Some of the best ranged options in the game, especially now with the masteries system. Now having Tox Trident as a standalone drop too, and 1t blowpipe for only 3 mastery points, as well as 3t bowfa for the inferno with those same 3 mastery points, assuming no tbow before then. I won't be picking Twn this League and that was the hardest decision. Ultimately I just decided that Varlamore's Blood and Eclipse moon sets would be more interesting to fool around with, and aside from a powered staff, Varla offers a competitive dps alternative to everything offered in Twn, at least for my relic purposes. (6 / 4 / 0 Varla Zeah Mory)

I feel personally offended you put desert with KQ, (Awakened) levi and TOA; GOTR, mage arena, tempoross and giants foundry over Fremmy with vorkath, dk's, phantom muspah and (Awakened) duke; blast furnace, highest lvl rooftop course this league,stonemason and a disease free herb patch. At least the echo items of fremmy are BIS for all 3 styles. Desert just got nerfed hard with the shadow and scythe being obtainable from every raid, Zeah with CoX will be way better for a mage or range build freeing up a relic slot and scythe>fang, turning desert into (imo) the worst support region of leagues (we don't even talk about kandarin).
Everyone is talking about farming as if we can't pvm for pots. Ancient wyverns solves full combat pots and prayer, tons of other examples of this in the game . Wasted relics imo. Last leagues I ran fight caves off ancient wyverns drops alone

The most important thing about how strong the t3 mastery is, is that everyone can take it. Even if youre goung 6 melee or 6 mage, you can still get a 1t blowpipe. Or even if you arent taking desert or tirannwn for a bp, you still have 1t knives or darts.
HOWEVER, mage t6 will suffer from the inverse of the berserker bug. Because you have to start your attack after the mob is below your max hit to be executed, you either have to constantly target switch so your projectiles can travel and hit the mob to get them down to the execute level OR you just waste an extra 3 hits per mob based on distance, which is mega bad. They should have changed it to be "when you strike a mob with magic whose remaining hp is less than your max hit, the mob is executed." This would allow you to "lead" mobs by firing, say, 3 attacks at it then changing targets before the first hit lands. Then the first 2 deal normal damage and the 3rd executes.

Only REAL benefit to t is melee zulrah and no prep cg.

Darts alone with f is 32 dps.
I'm not saying t or f is better.
But I don't think for a second they are so far apart.
I'm picking wildy.. but the ONLY benefit to it is infinite money glitch (extremely early)
Khopesh is same dps as noxious excluding spec.
Scythe murders it anything that isn't a 1x1
And one last thing to add....
A 5/5 spec relic with asgarnia is just absolutely broken.
Total recall into 5x dogsword 5x zcb spec.
Sure you have to grind them out. But once you have them your dps is stupid if you want that spec build.

I think corner cutter is super redundant because dodgy deals will actually solve agility for you as well. glistening tears can be traded for thieving and agi xp and everyone has access to fossil island.

watching the stream i just had a though process that have the potential to be extremely broken if possible:
The recall relic saves your stats, correct? and you can save for example an overprayer, correct?
so what if someone takes the ancient mace, which restores prayer on a successful hit, and then uses last stand to get to 255 stats, uses piety, does a hit on the target dummy and procs the Melee mastery t6 hits? and then save the result on the recall, could you have an absurd amount of prayer, forever?
Max would be like 100, so you'd have an extra prayer pot in instanced content and not required in uninstanced content. But I do like this idea.
@@theroh1552 yeah, i mean, having twice as much prayer is great, especially since in leagues you do more dps so most posses won't last until you deplete it all, especially with the prayer bonuses
I dig it. Run to boss, set recall. Tele home. Ancient mace, brew and restore. Recall to entrance. Reset recall with boosted stats. Begin 2 hour boss grinds/instances.
Tho tbf with our power levels, not sure I'll need more than 99 prayer for any single fight outside raids/inferno/nm, etc.

Wildy is definitely 1 or 2
Slayer is so fast and most task are in multi with good drops
Echo item is insane and you get wilderness weapons plus unlimited gold, so it scales fast for points since you get massive power spikes once you get a rev weapon for your build
I agree, i thought they rated wildy too low. I think it shoulda been 6) Valamore 5) Desert 4) Priff and 3) Wildy (maybe even 2). I think being a Raid region for starters should up Desert and it's not nearly as bad as they make it seem. Also, Wildy just offer so much to literally everything its a crazy region. Even last league it was heavily slept on, especially with nearly everything being a infinite money glitch. It's also a really fast point region., with really easy task being worth a lot. I'm not picking wildy on my first account, but I am forsure having an alt with it.
Also, I think one of the only selling points for valarmore to me is coloseum, but even with being nearly unkillable, I don't think a lot of people will be able to do colo or echo sol. If people pick valarmore and are unable to do echo sol, they're insta locked out to 9 combat points and maybe even 8 if they can't do Zuk. I just think Valarmore is a lot worse then they make it seem.
Personally don't think rev weapons are worth grinding this year consdering you can go pretty dry and only use them in wildy. Accursed is the exception if maging. If you get them on task, cool, if not, don't wait for them.
T6 darts do the same damage as Webweaver. And with the right regions are easy to supply, and give more healing/offhand options.
Ursine is roughly 20% stronger than zombie axe. But zombie axe is 20% better outside wildy and the echo kbd isn't in wildy. If you end up picking Khopesh, you start speccing and most of the Wildy bosses drop regardless. I mean, all with 100% accuracy, all these bosses die in 10ish hits and drop 5x uniques. Is 3 seconds per kill on average worth the hours of revs?
Ancients barrage with accursed is nice tho.
@ergofiction5627 my exact point 👉 wildy is definitely flexible but if you do hit drop rates it just gets better. Absolutely 💯 perfect leagues content because you don't really need other regions to get everything out of it
One of the funnest parts I think is watching the massive xp drop, so ill probably still rip through the tiers as quick as i can so i can watch that.... especially xp lamps to skip shitty skills

Animal wrangler was my number one choice but now that I can have that and mining, mining is an easy first, you get less effort early tasks out of the way and get very easy money which will accelerate progression granting quick access to Moon clan/lunar armour and Dramen staff, best magic offense early game.
Currently my relic choices are up in the air a little bit but most of them are solidified. I do plan on going double shines regions and I'm going to go 6/3/1 i believe. Bankers for sure.
Too bad you guys didn't wait to record this until the Combat relics were out lol. I'm interested to know which one each of you would pick. I know myself I'm going Last Stand cause I kinda regretted not picking it last Leagues and it would just fit so well with my planned tank ranger build lol.
TR not saving boosted stats/Sunlight stacks doesn't mean you lose boosts/sunlight stacks when you use TR. They're just unaffected.

im going to be a Banker's Note Barry and im going to enjoy it lol im currently planning on DVT 3-6-1 (really debating 6-3-1) so i can blast with range and have the crystal armour plus blessing to give melee a good boost to be a solid off style. i enjoy content in the desert (but ive started second guessing that too lol) and can get mega rares through TOA, havent really explored varlamore at all so o really want to dive into all the content there, tiranwnn is just skillers heaven plus zulrah and cheesing gauntlet with prayer penetration sounds really fun. Ill also be taking Dodgy Deals and Animal Wrangler for guaranteed chins and pickpocketing elves. Overgrown solves farming and herblore for me but im on the fence still for tier 4 and the Overgrown tier until we find out what the final relics are
In regards to the 'bad' aspect of the desert. Is it still bad if you want it for the drygore to have a switch to a ranged weapon as a main melee build?

Thoughts on sacrificing the extra echo hits from M6 for a 2tick bowfa/tbow and basically going 5-5-0 ? Also going WMT. I just feel like the extra options with R5 outweight the straight up extra DPS from R6.
You'll also have less need from the T6 passive if you have both M5 and R5 for Hunleff ?
I think if you're going to be using a Bowfa and Tbow at max ranged anyway then you don't benefit loads from the T6 ranged mastery so that makes sense to me - even with t6 ranged, you're only going to benefit from 60% prayer pen, so having that other style to switch to with 5 points in it is probably going to result in quicker hunleff kills if that's what you're thinking
Cool, I'm also going ZAF, probably! However, I'm going 4/6/0. Yes, 6 range without any blowpipe. I'm just gonna combine dragon darts with a twisted buckler, which has exactly the same DPS as the drygore blowpipe, due to both of them giving +10 ranged strength.

I'm taking ADF... So mining is basically non existant in the desert... and I already kinda have mining/smithing figured out with Motherlode/Mining Guild and then finishing off with Blast Furnace. So I take wrangler and then Dodgy + Herb (Unless the other relic being revealed is better...)
Granite mining is the fastest mining xp in the game. Shooting stars are also like 400k xp an hour totally afk. Giants foundry is also over 3m xp an hour, so smithing isn't an issue either. I guess all i'm saying is don't lock in asgarnia if your only goal for it is mining/smithing.
@@TheKevin50cal My regions aren't for skilling. My relics are. Asg is for top tier melee/ranged endgame gear (i like nex). I'm going to go 5/5/0 since Drygore is insanely accurate, the relic passives give +100% accuracy, ranged is already incredibly accurate, and I will be taking the spec relic for dogsword. So most bosses/enemies who survive getting specced out will probably end up with either 0 or very low defense. Past few leagues ive taken the cautious choices like the revive relic. This time I'm gonna try to act like I've been here before (because i have xd). I'll have access to amethyst this way too in case dragon darts prove difficult to get. With fremennik, I'll have 99% ammo saved so I should only need a few drops from implings. When I mentioned the desert not having anything regarding mining, I meant regarding the mining RELIC. My bad. The mining relic doesn't seem to do too much for granite.
I’m a casual but love leagues. (Still don’t get to play too too much).. my goals are defeating zuk, doing colo, and attempting to solo or duo ToB with my brother.
I plan to go 4-6-0 with varla, tirannwn, and mory. As a casual, I’ll probably try and get all 3 regions unlocked before going crazy with combat. (I’ll do t3 range for sure then go for regions).
Which region should i pick first and second to maximize my chance of easier points? Thinking varla > tirnnwn > mory.

From the standpoint of another noob. I like your V and M picks, as it's stuff you want ro challenge yourself with. Pretty solid. However, T basically only consists of the red prison. Maybe consider A instead, for the void equip. It is amazing with 6 ranged.
But yeah, in general, I'd just reconsider T, as it's not a direct goal and sounds very grindy for little benefit

I think I always had to tele back to Falador for another homes task, even with Fremmenik.

I think drygore seems really good when I ran it through dps calc iirc it was like +40% dps over karils at tier 3 range (this was only with addy darts also, 1 tick blowpipe goes BRRR) but I don't know if the calculator was doing karils calculations correctly or not with gloves of the damned (especially without range 6 the double accuracy rolls on the blowpipe should pop off)
I think fang seems quite good also but I don't think it out dps'ed thunder khopesh but it was pretty close actually. I think we know why we're interested in fremmy, jewelry is just too insane
I think if I actually opt for spec relic I'll end up in M/W/A or something, but I'm most likely doing M/W/F I think

If you take frem and dont take animal wrangler your gonna have a MUCH harder time getting into dags. You will have no choice but to blast clue scrolls until you get the dags task or wait until later in the game when animal wranglers arent hunting ninja imps for rune thrown axes.
And if you take total recall you will have an 8hr grind just to get dags access.
Really hope my man doesn't get all the way to zuk before he realizes his trumpet doesn't reach zuk

I know it wasn't particularly popular, but I picked Tirannwn for one of my playthroughs last league, and I felt like it was strong even then. If you're not the kind of person who enjoys Gauntlet or Zulrah, don't pick it of course, but if you do, it has a lot else to offer. The crystal crafting/smithing method is amazing, red chins, solid agility course, bankers note death runes. Some of the best ranged options in the game, especially now with the masteries system. Now having Tox Trident as a standalone drop too, and 1t blowpipe for only 3 mastery points, as well as 3t bowfa for the inferno with those same 3 mastery points, assuming no tbow before then.
I won't be picking Twn this League and that was the hardest decision. Ultimately I just decided that Varlamore's Blood and Eclipse moon sets would be more interesting to fool around with, and aside from a powered staff, Varla offers a competitive dps alternative to everything offered in Twn, at least for my relic purposes. (6 / 4 / 0 Varla Zeah Mory)

Yes, you can fletch them but cannot smith dart tips. So if you get dart tips from drops you’re good.
You can also make amethyst dart tips with asgarnia and don’t need Desert for that

I feel personally offended you put desert with KQ, (Awakened) levi and TOA; GOTR, mage arena, tempoross and giants foundry over Fremmy with vorkath, dk's, phantom muspah and (Awakened) duke; blast furnace, highest lvl rooftop course this league,stonemason and a disease free herb patch. At least the echo items of fremmy are BIS for all 3 styles. Desert just got nerfed hard with the shadow and scythe being obtainable from every raid, Zeah with CoX will be way better for a mage or range build freeing up a relic slot and scythe>fang, turning desert into (imo) the worst support region of leagues (we don't even talk about kandarin).
Everyone is talking about farming as if we can't pvm for pots. Ancient wyverns solves full combat pots and prayer, tons of other examples of this in the game . Wasted relics imo. Last leagues I ran fight caves off ancient wyverns drops alone
