UPDATE: I have a new, 2024 version of this video! PLEASE CHECK IT OUT! It's much more detailed, higher quality and more informational. :) ua-cam.com/video/Vr5ALBA342c/v-deo.html
a tip for people watching: for your color correction to have maximum impact, set the color correction with a light layer of powder, then do foundation.
Mary Hines I agree about the color wheel but I feel like that stick is a little too emmolient and not orange enough for color correcting.. I think the LA Girl corrector in peach for super fair trans girls or orange for fair to dark trans girls 😄
HEYCEREZA I'm cheap. I mix the pink with the yellow and put it under my eyes. Then apply as blush to my cheeks then use it as a nice neutral lip color. It's my go to product, lasts forever, and is like $1-3.
tips for those with hooded eyes when doing winged/cat-eye liner: stare straight ahead at the mirror and don't raise your eyebrows or close your eyes while applying the liner! this ensures that none of your wing will be blocked out by your hood. i wondered for years why my wings never looked right when i did them, but it's because i would raise my eyebrows when applying the liner! now they look great :)
Mike M I understand you have very good intentions, but you are wrong on a few levels in saying that. 1) Women feel safer in makeup, and it annoys us to a point when people say, "You're too beautiful for makeup." 2) Trans women feel like they still look slightly masculine, even if they don't, that's what gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia is. So, I understand your intention was good, but for future reference, don't say stuff like that.
STEF!!! I remember seeing you first transitioning and I've gotta say, seeing your transformation makes me so happy. I know that everyone has their days, but knowing that you're ultimately a happier person because you're more comfortable in your body makes me so fucking happy for you. ☺️❤️
Omg I'm so excited for your surgery!! Also I just wanted to say thank you, my best friend has been struggling with wether or not she was transgender and watching your videos has made so many things clear for her. I haven't seen her this happy since middle school!!! Thank you so much momma buns.
Your vids are getting longer and longer yay! The dark lip looks hella cute with light hair. Also the lighting's okay, I miss the mood light though, it's pretty💜
Ealnag mood lights yes but I love this lighting in a way - Bright and somewhat natural for details so I can easily see! (I have not the best eyesight aha)
I'm not trans, but thank you for giving us all a small look into what being trans is like. I've grown to love you as a person, and to me you're so much more than trans. Keep on keeping on!
ectoplasmLunatic While you've got the right idea, and it will serve you, what she is doing isn't specifically for feminization, some of it is just normal make-up. Just be careful that while you're trying to avoid feminization, you aren't ignoring regular make-up application.
Most of the feminization comes from the shortening of the nose, softening of the jaw with contour and making a cat eye look with eye liner. To make yourself look more masculine do the opposite. Use contour to etch out the jaw and make it look bigger and sharper by using contour lower than the she does and a straighter line. Then also contour your cheek bones at a wider angle and a sharper line as well to give your face that sharp V look. You can even make the nose look longer and sharper with contour by making a line on either side of your bridge and extending your bridge while making it sharper and wider looking. I hope that helps! Makeup can be really fun.
If any of you have hooded eyes (like me) I recommend Nibbles Official's video on eyeliner. She's a really nice girl and she gave tips on eyeliner for hooded eyes :))
Right now, I feel like a proud mother lmao, I've been around since pretty much the beginning. You've come so far and soon you'll be getting your facial feminization surgery! I just wanted to say you've helped a hell of a lot of people and I'm proud to say I'm one. I'm actually a trans male and just seeing someone so.. open about themselves online, just gave me the extra boost to come out to my parents, now I feel comfortable as myself. We all have your back!
Congrats on your FFS!!!!! I an sooo happy and excited for you and cannot wait to see you document your journey. You are so absolutely beautiful inside & out already and you deserve so many wonderful things in life. Love you!!!! 💜💜💜
So first off, while I wish I had found your channel while you were still doing this type of tutorial, I want to say congratulations for setting boundaries and knowing what you need for you. 2nd off, thank you for leaving this up for those of us that are starting to figure things out because your tutorials seem quite straight forward, body positive, and not in any way "shaming" someone for features or inability. THANK YOU!
Hey, I'm glad that the only "must do" you had in this entire video was to take care of your skin. I like that your emphasis in this video is all about emphasis of certain details you like and softening others. I learned a lot from this video. The only issue I had, was that the light seemed a bit brighter than normal, and it reflected on the makeup more than usual, so colors didn't show up as much. I hope that made sense.
I'm a straight married woman, but I enjoy watching you do your makeup. I do prefer your other setup of lighting. This lighting makes you very reflective. But your makeup still came out very cute! Better than I can do!
I will beginning my hormone therapy on the first day of winter this year, you're very inspirational and made me wanted to try this kind of makeup and improve myself and my skills, you're very beautiful and body positive and with this video you really made me feel confident and more relax about my future and life. So, thank you
Yay stef im so happy you're getting the face surgery and i hope you'll feel more comfortable after it. Im also getting surgery soon but its just to fix an eye condition i have..
Bread mom! This video blew my mind! You've informed me more on concealing, contouring and overall makeup application than youtubers who do it for a living! Thank you.
I don't like the new lighting a lot, looks a little over exposed for doing makeup videos, but for just chatty videos its fine :) love the look and I'm so excited for you for FFS!! :)
Here is what I used to develop a female voice. heartcorps.com/journeys/voice.htm If you want to hear my voice check out my videos. I did a recent video on female voice where my voice was pretty good.
Square jaws can be really attractive. The model they used for Samara in Mass Effect, Rana McAnear, is super fucking pretty and most people agree that Samara is the prettiest "female" character in the trilogy.
I really like looking at you and listening to you talk. You are the only one who can post a video this long that I will watch in it's entirety. Looooooooooove
honestly watching you from the beginning of you transition to now has been amazing and has given me so much strength to go through with starting mine. Even though I am FtM these videos are amazing to watch. Thank you for being on UA-cam and being so open with your transition ♡♡
YES BREAD MOM. YOU ARE PROGRESSING SO MUCH. It's just like watching someone transform into their true selves, like a beautiful butterfly. Love you loads- hearts from hawaii ^^
No matter what the video is intended for, I love learning makeup tips from you because you're just so gentle and understanding! Love you and good luck with your surgery!! ❤️❤️
Stef, I've watched your videos for a while now (back when you discussed Waardenburg Syndrome), and I can see this new positive, happy, comfortable person you've become!! It shows in your goofy humor (you literally make me lol now) and when you elaborate on transgender topics. I've noticed you've found more confidence and seem 10x more comfortable now. Soooooo happy for you, girl!!!
I'm a cis woman, and I'm finding these tips awesome. Contouring always seemed ridiculous to me - I hate the idea of turning my face to the side and seeing contour. But you've showed me contour can look well done. Makes me want to give it a shot.
I've gotta try the lavender concealer trick for my dark circles! And I am so happy/excited for you to get your surgery coming up!! I already think you are literally stunning but it's great to know you are one more step closer to your ultimate goal :)
i think it would be so sick if stephanie put like a side by side comparison before and after her transition - no makeup or anything fancy just a comparison of how hormones affected her face and her body and whatever else she feels necessary - just a suggestion from one trans woman to another
SO so excited for you, Stef! I've been following your channel for years now. The lighting would be fine for regular videos (though I prefer your normal lighting) but it was a little too blown out to see what you were doing! Love you girl!
I think the lighting is a tad bright. It looks a bit glare-y and makes it a bit hard to see details as you're applying the makeup. If there is some way for you to be able to soften it, maybe place the lamp back a bit, that would be good.
Yes I have a question, how are you so adorable? I've been following you for about a year and a half(?) now and holy shit the cuteness, it just never ends. also yes the lighting has improved dramatically, I am so proud of you.
Hey Stef! Love your videos. I gotta say that I didn't like the lighting set up in this one. It was too bright and washed out important details, made it difficult to replicate the look. I'm so excited for you with your upcoming surgery 😘
I'm so excited for your surgery!!You are almost there-I can't wait til we can compare videos and see you reap the benefits of all your hard work and determination.Best wishes lovely girl!!
im not a trans woman but I have extremely bad scaring and deformities and I am glad of these videos because they help me . so in other words you give me confidence in myself. so thank you Stef !!
Love the video. I think the lighting looks a little yellow now if that makes sense? I think most of your videos I've seen are made during the day though x
During the intro and the outro the lighting looked good, but there were times where during the tutorial where I couldn't distinguish the different shades of makeup really well. Still, it was a very cool video!
Stef, you are a fricken angel. I know you mentioned in another video that you want to keep helping trans men and women after you get your ffs and srs but I think you are unaware of the saving grace you are for trans women everywhere. Your approach to these informative videos really shows what an amazing human being you are.
I'm a 40 year old mother of 3. Getting lost in the UA-cam vortex, came across this video. I love that you make it a point to tell people, if you like a feature, leave it alone. You seem to have a talent for giving advice without making people feel bad about themselves. I appreciate that.
I love this! You are supergorgeous and such an inspiration! I have to be superhonest though, I was not a fan of the lighting in this video, it was kinda hard to see your makeup because it was so bright unfortunatly :/. But other than that, I loved it all! Lots of love from Sweden ❤
Stef, you are the best! My finacé is trans, pre hormones, and I think this video will really help her! I usually do her make up and this gave me some helpful tips to help her. Thanks so much! Love you!
I tightline my eyes because they're hooded so it tends to give the effect I want without me looking like a raccoon. The cat eye is very hard with my eyes, but not impossible. Keeping it thin(which means practice, practice, practice) tends to help.
I've been watching you for a while now and I just wanted to say that I'm so so happy that you're able to get what you need, and I know you've helped so many other people along the way which is amazing too. Ugh this just makes me so happy 💕
Stef, you are such a sweetheart. Everything about you is so wonderful. Your personality is amazing. I also love your voice! Good luck with your surgery ❤️❤️
Hi Breadmom. Being a lil' bun just starting out, this video has given me lots of advice and help with my makeup. Using this, and a personal 1-on-1 session with a makeover artist that works with those like me, my confidence has skyrocketed. Much love and virtual hugs.
I just love you! I have watched your videos for a while, and through your videos I have also been able to help a trans friend of mine who wanted to try using makeup but was to scared to do it herself. So with what I had in my makeup box combined with your videos we made it into a giggly girls night that was so much fun for us both and now my friend actually went out and bought her first basic makeup kit! So thank you for helping me becoming even closer to her, if that ever was possible and her to get enough courage to go out and try on her on!
What is the big deal about cruelty free makeup? I'm not trying to be mean but regardless of what company you buy the makeup from the ingredients are still tested on animals. When ever there is a new potential ingredient or fragrance they are going to have to test on animals and cruelty free makeup companies wait until other companies already test them on animals. so going cruelty free doesnt really prevent any animal testing.
Kristina Oberlander they're actually not. europe has completely banned any and all animal testing bc of how irrelevant it is. there are new technologies that have made it absolutely useless! look at companies like ABH, ELF, etc.
zofie darling, I am positive ELF only uses ingredients that other companies have already tested. But I will look at some of ABH products and see if there is a single ingredient that has not been tested on an animal before they used it.
Steph good luck girl you are the greatest... you have helped me through so much in my transition... I would volunteer in a heartbeat to be sponsored by someone as loving as you... can't wait to see how much more beautiful you will be after the surgeries heal... I've been watching you since about 3 quarters of my current transition...
Your liquid lipstick application blew my mind. I see so many people overdraw their lips and it looks cartoonish but I like the way you did it. Nice and subtle yet still has impact.
Does your eyeliner create "eye boogers"? I have a problem with it going into my cornea no matter what type of eyeliner I use. It also melts far below my bottom lash line.
Also, how do you keep foundation and color corrector from creasing around your smile lines?? That is my biggest makeup struggle. I use primers and powders and it STILL creases 🙄
Zuko Sama for the creasing, I'd try baking it like what Stef did under her eyes. And for the eyeliner thing, I'd try using a gel or a waterproof eyeliner. If you're using eyeliner in your waterline, get a hella good waterproof pencil. I've known some people who use liquid in their waterline and it gives me hives to watch. Also try setting your eyeliner with an eyeshadow. That should help :)
It may be your mascara. I dont wear eyeliner, just mascara and I have the same issue from time to time - but its been reduced since doing waterproof kind.
UPDATE: I have a new, 2024 version of this video! PLEASE CHECK IT OUT! It's much more detailed, higher quality and more informational. :)

I'm not trans, yet you still really helped me. Love you, Stef xx
Rid97527 i have some masculine features and these videos are life 💗💗
Rid97527 That's what I was thinking this is useful either way!
a tip for people watching: for your color correction to have maximum impact, set the color correction with a light layer of powder, then do foundation.
oh and if any trans girls want cheap alternatives to what stef uses just ask!
HEYCEREZA NYX has a decent color wheel. I'm cis but I love it. E.L.F pink cream blush stick is good for blue under eyes and maybe 5 o' clock shadow?
Mary Hines I agree about the color wheel but I feel like that stick is a little too emmolient and not orange enough for color correcting.. I think the LA Girl corrector in peach for super fair trans girls or orange for fair to dark trans girls 😄
HEYCEREZA I'm cheap. I mix the pink with the yellow and put it under my eyes. Then apply as blush to my cheeks then use it as a nice neutral lip color. It's my go to product, lasts forever, and is like $1-3.
Omg I love your name! The only other person i've heard with that name is a videogame character I love :O
I'm assuming you learned all this at Hogwarts because you are a make up wizard
Emily Pruna yasssss
Emily Pruna
Emily Pruna I'm sure she learned at Ilvermorny, it's much closer. She seems like a fellow Horned Serpent 🐍🐉
Emily Pruna omg get out of my head 😂
*witch sorry I had to lmao it's amazing 😂
tips for those with hooded eyes when doing winged/cat-eye liner: stare straight ahead at the mirror and don't raise your eyebrows or close your eyes while applying the liner! this ensures that none of your wing will be blocked out by your hood. i wondered for years why my wings never looked right when i did them, but it's because i would raise my eyebrows when applying the liner! now they look great :)
I know bright light makes you look even more great but I wish it wasn't as intense so I could get a better look at the makeup.
YOUR FFS IS IN 2 weeks , so is my first doctor appointment to start my transition !!! , ilysm💕💕
As soon as you put the lavender concealer on it blinded me 😂
Addilyn Stroud same tho
Addilyn Stroud lol me too! gotta luv her though!
Addilyn Stroud "Cant possibly be that ba-HOLY BALLS MY EYES!!!!!
i'm a cis woman and you've taught me more about makeup than anyone!
STEF!!! I remember seeing you first transitioning and I've gotta say, seeing your transformation makes me so happy. I know that everyone has their days, but knowing that you're ultimately a happier person because you're more comfortable in your body makes me so fucking happy for you. ☺️❤️

The only thing I would say about the lighting is that It's a bit over exposed as the beginning which could just be using the wrong IOS on your camera.
PS. I love all your videos
Frankie Quinn
i agree!
I'm not trans, but thank you for giving us all a small look into what being trans is like. I've grown to love you as a person, and to me you're so much more than trans. Keep on keeping on!
i'm actually transmale and i just watch these videos for feminine makeup so i know what to avoid if i ever decide to do makeup
That's exactly why I'm here
Also I love Stef
And makeup
I'm trash

It's really difficult to tell what you are talking about with that harsh lighting. Hard to see the shapes and colors
So happy to have an extra long video from you! It was really relaxing to listen to. I did find the new lighting a bit bright and hard to see, though.
I like this setting better for a "sit down and chat" feel, but I prefer the older lighting better
I'm a straight married woman, but I enjoy watching you do your makeup. I do prefer your other setup of lighting. This lighting makes you very reflective. But your makeup still came out very cute! Better than I can do!
i really like this new lighting! i can see your features more clearly and the colors are much brighter!!
i dont even wear makeup but i just accidentally watched this whole video at like 3:20 am because i love u bread mom. you're an inspiration
love seeing your progress, all of us watching you blossom is a gift 💜
I feel like the lighting is a bit on the orange side, which can throw off colors a lot :( and it's a bit bright...
I will beginning my hormone therapy on the first day of winter this year, you're very inspirational and made me wanted to try this kind of makeup and improve myself and my skills, you're very beautiful and body positive and with this video you really made me feel confident and more relax about my future and life. man... shes so gorgeous.
Omg this lighting. I can't even finish watching this and I was so excited!

I swear you've been glowing recently, you utter ray of sunshine
hey mom! you slay as usual and I actually like the older lighting btw to answer a question, much love!!!!!!
please dont forget the voice training video stef this is transgamergirl on younow
It's on my list!!!

Geraldd omg same!!
Your hair already looks really nice!! The products you got are definitely working.
I actually love emphasizing my masculine jawline and cheekbones! Guess everyone is different 😊
Anne Rose my jaw is super square and I actually really like it lol
You're totally right
Square jaws can be really attractive. The model they used for Samara in Mass Effect, Rana McAnear, is super fucking pretty and most people agree that Samara is the prettiest "female" character in the trilogy.
Best wishes for a smooth recovery, Stef! So happy for you!
"Not even... bread" 😂
I really like looking at you and listening to you talk. You are the only one who can post a video this long that I will watch in it's entirety. Looooooooooove
I saw your Adams apple and it surprised me, I can't wait for you to get ffs. I can't wait for my mom to be happier
SO excited and happy for you!! I love love watching your videos! I'm so happy I found your channel!

Luna Davis in my transition timeline video, I do something similar.
This video was so sweet of you to do! I'm sure it will help so many people, and that's great. And you look beautiful.
The lighting is far too bright, but as far as makeup, you gave some really good tips!!
SO so excited for you, Stef! I've been following your channel for years now. The lighting would be fine for regular videos (though I prefer your normal lighting) but it was a little too blown out to see what you were doing! Love you girl!

im not a trans woman but I have extremely bad scaring and deformities and I am glad of these videos because they help me . so in other words you give me confidence in myself. so thank you Stef !!
Love the video. I think the lighting looks a little yellow now if that makes sense? I think most of your videos I've seen are made during the day though x
I'm jealous of your eyebrows.
Espeon Tulips I'd love to chill on Stef’s face too!! omg
Espeon Tulips
GURL your highlight is BLINDING I love it so much...

love how inclusive she is when talking about skin tone 💖
New lighting is a bit blinding, love the makeup look though!
Thank you so much! I've been waiting for someone to do so thing like this for a long time
Stef, you are such a sweetheart. Everything about you is so wonderful. Your personality is amazing. I also love your voice! Good luck with your surgery ❤️❤️

Jeeze you are sooo gorgeous! And your hair is to die for right now 😍😍😍
First video of yours I watched. new sub :) thank you for this
I found the lighting a little bit too bright, especially with that amazing highlight which I now need to get
I just love you!
So thank you for helping me becoming even closer to her, if that ever was possible and her to get enough courage to go out and try on her on!
stef you should go cruelty free & try using cruelty free makeup!!!
zofie darling Yasss 😍
What is the big deal about cruelty free makeup? I'm not trying to be mean but regardless of what company you buy the makeup from the ingredients are still tested on animals. When ever there is a new potential ingredient or fragrance they are going to have to test on animals and cruelty free makeup companies wait until other companies already test them on animals. so going cruelty free doesnt really prevent any animal testing.
Mikey Motorpsyche No she is not. She uses MAC which is a brand infamous for testing on animals..
I feel like this is kind of weird to say but idk if you're wearing like robe or something but I really like it it looks soft
also your eyebrows are my life

Yo yo tyjo
Gorgeous Stef! I'm living for so many trans-based videos! I'm glad there's a safe place on the Internet for some tricks and tips ❤️
I'm not trans, but as somebody who just recently started experimenting with/using makeup, this is super informative!
Love you girl. You're fabulous! I'm so excited for your upcoming ffs.
Cat eye with hooded eyes is almost impossible for me honestly like sometimes god speaks and it looks good but most of the time it looks like crap
This was super helpful even though I have almost no makeup experience. Thanks!
I ain't trans and I don't wear makeup... But hey it's half an hour of stef
Stef you are such a GLOWING GODDESS
she's so fucking pretty oml
