Thanks teacher canoon camera name what is her number version🙏
It would be great if you did a video on the cam ranger/iPad setup. How to set it up, what s/w you are using on the iPad and so on. That looked really fabulous. Thanks for this video!
Noted! Dani Diamond has a great video on the cam ranger on his youtube channel. 😀
Top choices for my business.
1. Westcott/Manny 36” beauty dish.
2. Wesstcott FJ400 and 200s
3 My Sony 35mm Gmaster lens for my SonyA7RIV. It’s my go to lens for outdoor portraits.
Honorable mention: Your photoshop action set. Saves so much time editing.
Think I’m going to pick up that beige background as well.
That's a fantastic list Peyton! I would have put the Manny Ortiz Beauty Dish but I got that for free. Happy Holidays!
Thanks for Sharing Eli. Love hearing what equipment worked well for photographers. Great stuff.
You bet Scottie! Thanks for stopping by 😀
Great video! Always cool to see the gear other people use. My top purchases for 2021 were the Canon R5, RF 28-70mm F2, and RF 100mm F2.8.
I wanted the 100mm RF but I decided to stick to my EF version.
Great video Eli. Thanks. My best purchase this year was the R5 and just bought the RF 50mm 1.2 for my portraits.
Wonderful! My friend Marco just bought the 50mm RF 🤘🏼
Very useful video as usual Eli, I really like that collapsible gear trolley !
Thanks, Tim. It's a must-have! Happy Holidays 😁
Great video as usual man! One future video request - since I am a lover of the Westcott system and having a couple 400's and 200's and an 80.....it would be cool to see how you setup and use the gear across modifiers to make it more streamlined in use! I feel like I'm missing the ability to easily switch from one light to another just due to attachments being different sizes.
Great suggestion Vic! I'll add that to my to do list :)
Love the wagon!!
It's fantastic! 😁
Hey man, some great purchases🚀🚀🚀
Yes they are! Have a great 2022!
That c stand looks nice ! Thanks for the informative video!
You'll love it Raul! You're welcome Happy Holidays!
Great video Eli, really interested to see what you did with a beige background, the look is awesome. My top purchases for 2021 definitely the GFX100s, GF 110mm f2 and GF 32-64 f4. Cannot explain just how pleased I am with the quality of both the sensor and the glass, something I could never say about my Canon experience.
Sounds great! I've been looking into Fuji lately 😀
Great Video!
Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
100% agree on the 24-105. I just started shooting in a studio and quickly realized that my fast aperture primes I own for outdoor shoots didn't matter because I was shooting at F4-F8 anyways. I was using my 70-200 a lot in the studio but it was really just too big and heavy for a long studio session so I picked up the 24-105
Great to hear Nick! Love my 24-105mm
Thanks for that Video.
My "best buy" in 2021 is the Sony 50 f1.2 GM - its very versatile - i love it on the A9 ;-)
I tried the 50mm GM, and I loved it! Too bad I have the Zeiss, or I would have bought it.
For me, the RF 35mm 1.8, another FJ200 and the Savage Red backdrop were awesome in 2021
Those are great purchases right there Brion! Happy Holidays ❤️
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure
In the Clutch!
Appreciate it Jesse!
I have that same wagon and oh. my. goodness. It’s wonderful!!! 😩
It's so good! Have a great day Bryan 😁
I wanna know how big that clutch is, hell of a lot of stuff in it ;) - Great selection and love your content and insta
Thanks Matt! 😁
I made the switch to RF system and I can't regret at all from 5dmk4 to R6 I have just 4 RF lenses and I'm cover I feel, 24-105, 70-200, 14-35 and 35mm f 1.8 prime, thank you for your videos and feliz navidad!
Once you go mirrorless its a game changer! 😀
Mine would be the Westcott 7' three Umbrella kit and my latest the FJ200 backpack kit!
That 7ft Umbrella kit is awesome! You can't beat the price for the three pack.
I switched from canon dslr apsc to sony mirrorless full frame system, very happy with the choice, huge difference in image quality and features. Still need some time to get used to the new system.
That’s great! I have a camera setup video for Sony 😁
Never know that short 20" C-Stand existed. I'll definitely be getting that.
It’s a great stand! It hasn’t let me down yet 😄
Perfect video.I just enjoyed it too much.
my only choice for my price was canon eos 2000d with a 18-55 is iii kit lens.
Good choice! Happy 2022!😁
@@EliInfante I'm saying it too late 🤣 but thanks a lot ❤️
The Rotolight Neo2 l e d light was one of my favorite purchases !
I need to check those out! I've seen them advertised on Facebook.
@@EliInfante they have some new ones more powerful coming out in the spring that compete with strobes in daylight. You can use them as a constant light or strobe with no recycling time!
@@rauljohns6005 wow! I'll need to check those out
Zv1, 100-400mm f/5-6.3, glow ez lock soft boxes, 7ft umbrella, savage mint backdrop, Mavic air 2s
I had the ZV1 on my wish list for a while!
I bought 2 strobelight from Quadralite = Godox. It's V1 and 60 basic wich I use in my Home Photo Studio. They are amaizing!
I've heard of that strobe! Interesting light 📸
The reflector ✅ ; The R5✅ hey I can dream!; The 35✅; but BEIGE?! Are you sure?!??
Heck if Eli said so I best listen to the Shutter Professor!
>>This list rocks because it’s so darn utilitarian! Tip of the Hat!! 🙌🏽💯📸
Ruben great to see you on UA-cam! Have a wonderful day man :)
My go-to lens for almost everything is the Nikkor 24-120 f.4. * Beige is good. It translates into a nice grey in black & White. I did buy a 14-24mm f.2.8 this past year that I like a lot. it's a great lens. * I also bought the Godox AD200 to go with my V1 and Nikon SB500 speedlights. Modifiers are all Godox, but I already had them. No new ones this year. The Z9 is on my list, but that may be awhile..
Great purchases Romie! Let me know how you like the Z9 :)
Mine was the Sony A1 for my Wildlife work. The Sony 600mm 4.0 GM I already purchased earlier.
Badass Stefan! Killer lens I'm sure. 😃
Great video as always. My Best Buy’s of 2021 was my Mac mini with the M1 chip, a second z6ii and the 85 1.4. Should have gotten away from Nikon but I’m more deep into it now. LoL
Very nice! I've been eyeing the new Mac Books lately! 😃
Why do you feel you should have gotten away from Nikon and what would be your go camera system now? I ask becauseI am a Nikon shooter on a crop sensor and want to move to mirrorless, full frame and since I do not have much invested in lenses, I can move into any system. My concern is also cost of lenses moving forward.
Great Video!!! What tether tray do you use?
I use the tether tools tray 😬
My best 2021 photography purchases have definitely been the Kobra flash modifier (love that thing), a couple C-Stands, the Canon 24mm 2.8 Pancake lens and the Canon 85mm 1.8. Apertures 1.4 and 1.2 aren't important to me at all.
I also bought 3 Godox continuous lights. Too many favorites LOL.
Awesome! That’s a nice list for 2021 for you. You’ll love the Kupo C Stand Jason 😁. Happy Holidays 🙌🏻
@@EliInfante Happy Holidays!
Hey Eli just a tip for ya that I do! I AirPlay my iPad to a tv when shooting in a studio setting, I place the tv near me on set
Great idea! I'm going to try it 😁
I shoot with a Sony a7iii so my top purchases would be 35mm ZESS F1.4 and the Sony 50mm 1.8 I’m looking to get the 85mm F1.4 next along with the westcott fj400 strobe
Awesome Jeremiah! Those are some great lenses right there. I'm sure you'll love the FJ400 😃
2021 - Preparing to once again travel about the world ... #1 Nikon D850, #2 Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8, #3 CamRanger 2
That's a great setup right there! Nikon D850 might be the best DSLR from what I've heard. 😁
I painted a large wall as a background in my living room studio in such a beige color and it was worth it, if needed I put a fabric of the same color on the floor 😊👍✨ I first selected a suitable fabric and then had the matching color mixed for me by an expert
best gear in 2021: my DIY self-standing or mountable black or white v-flats in different sizes
to be honest when it comes to my personal wish list, realistic for me and also significantly more advantageous for me overall (lower weight, more compact, praised, also very good):
Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III + Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm F2.8 PRO + matching TTL speedlites and TTL radio trigger system
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an insightful comment. That painted beige wall backdrop seems like a great idea!
@@EliInfante You're welcome !
I think it's good if we exchange ideas, share our experiences and sometimes inspire each other, imo that is also part of photography.
Yes, I like this beige, I thought for a long time which color to choose, one that is not boring, looks friendly and harmonious and could fit universally.
@@EliInfante purely informative postscript to my personal wish list, because I forgot one item:
Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 45mm F1.8 (= 90mm FullFrame) = currently the portrait lens with the best price-performance ratio on the market, according to the results of many serious tests and comparisons, nearly a must-have for every Olympus user as only one result of many positive user comments
good job man
Thanks Shwan! Have a great day :)
@@EliInfante your very welcome
for you too bro 🙏🙏
#1 purchase was the Canon RF 100-500. Mostly shoot wildlife & getting into sports. Only because I already had the R5, RF28-70 F2 & I think my 70-200 2.8
I want that lens for sports!
@@EliInfante It's been great. I've done Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball, and Basketball with it. It does not disappoint!
Superior work! Where did you get that like from. You have it in a couple of scenes - 5:06. Thanks.
My friend Roland bought it on Amazon :)
@@EliInfante thanks!
My favorite gear for 2021 . Sony a7s2, Sigma 85mm1.4 dg dn, Sony 35mm gm 1.4, godox ad300 x2. Godox s85s,
You had a great year Mario! Those are all great products 😁
1. Canon R5
2. RF 70-200 mm F2.8
3. Westcott Many Ortiz Beauty Dish
4. Godox AD200 Pro & AD300 pro
My 70-200mm RF comes in tomorrow! 😃
Where can I buy the Yorki, i want one just like that one! Does it come with the model holding it or sold seperatly? I'll be in the valley for xmas, hopefully, I have time to stop by yall's house I want to see it! :)
LMAO! I'll available all Christmas break baby. Text me whenever you're free and we can hang out.
where can I get the savage beige background? Great video!!!
I have the link in the description 😁
I have 2 that Ive purchased, the Nikon Z6ii and the Godox AD200 Pro...
Great purchases Glenn! 😁
I was surprised by the RF 24-105mm. I agree it is an great lens I own it. I feel it gets a bad rap for being a “kit lens”. I feel like you lose something if you are always shooting at F 1.2 or F 1.4.
Same! I would have never thought about using the 24-105mm but shooting in the studio changed my mindset.
Dude! You have extremely cool glasses:) Ray Bans maybe???
Thank you! They're from Warby Parker.
@6:12 hey that’s me!!
Hell yeah I had to include my daddy!
@@EliInfante Alv!!
Do you use the savage stand as well for the backdrop!
I don't but I'm currently looking for a new stand setup.
@@EliInfante Is there any you would recommend?
How is Canon RP, is it worth to buy, and Is firmware update works for Autofocus issues
I haven’t used the RP to give you an honest opinion.
The Canon 28-70 2.0 It saved me in low light church weddings.
I love that lens! I borrow from my friend for client work. 😬
can you do a video about the camranger? i'm sick of "free" tether apps that never work.
I might but I know Dani Diamond has one on his channel :)
Regardless of price, do you need focal length above 70mm? Would the 24-70 made a better choice? Just curious...
In the the studio yes I prefer above 70mm for close up portraits.
85mm is atf and 105-135 is also great
You should test the Sigma 35mm, I think you'll be surprised - maybe it makes 2022 list!
I used to have it and I loved it. 😬
The Beige is hot! Def something I want to look into. But I find the 53inch too small and the 104 too wide. I have a 86 Chroma Blue coming in so I wanna check the size of that for my room. They are quite pricy. :'(
The prices are high because of the shipping unfortunately. 😬
How tether Camera to Ipad, what item do you use? Thank you
Hey Henry thanks for asking! You can find out all the information here camranger.com/camranger-2/ Let me know if you any questions :)
My Faves were the Canon R5 and the Atomos Ninja V+ Pro. Now I can shoot unlimited 8k raw video without overheating and no 29 minute time limit.
The R5 is a beast! I just bought the 70-200mm, so I'm looking forward to using it in 2022.
@@EliInfante Cool. I have the EF70-200mm f2.8 and it is a great lens. I wonder if the RF version is sharper and has better stabilization...it is more compact.
Canon 24-70 2.8 L M2, Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 85mm 1.8
Great list Kyaw!
i would go for the cannon rf85.1.2
Heck yeah! Beautiful lens
What is the make and model of the fog machine?
I bought it on Amazon Lorance.
8:43
What type of westcott modifier is that?
That is the Joel Grimes 24” Beauty Dish 😁
Nicely done has usual I was wondering if have any merch I'd love to pickup a shirt with #TODOELPEDO on it! Feliz Navidad a Todos!
Yes sir, shirts are coming soon! My friend designed some 😁
I would think the 28-70 f2 is what stays on your camera in studio.
I don't have that lens
When is your next workshop?
I'm trying my best for March in San Antonio.
@@EliInfante, where can I get further information? I’m interested
when is your next workshop?
In March :)
I have a comment about the badge colour background. I think it’s not context the way you have set it. There is a shadow where it bends from the ground level. I have no option to upload a screenshot here.
I’m not sure what you mean
I want to get capture 1, and get familiar with it. I’m no longer satisfied with my images after photoshopping them!
Do it! I love Capture One 😁
@@EliInfante do you have video on capture 1?
Westcott fj200 & 400
Great to hear Judy 😁
Tamron 35-150 2.0-2.8 BAM
I was considering purchasing that lens but I think I'm going to wait for Canon 28-70 f/2
@@EliInfante For a portrait shooter a great choice. I shoot also concerts, thats why I like the versatility of the Tamron
Let’s see what your favorite gear is
R5 had to be on the list! :)

That Sigma 85mm is awesome! I can't wait to use it with my Sony A74!
can you guide me how to take the picture at 0:59?
You need to use an optical spot. If you follow me on Instagram I have a behind the scenes photo.

Best 2021 purchase: Tamron 70-200 2.8 G2
Awesome! I just bought the Canon RF 70-200mm 😁
