- Big review of the new Ferrania P33 film! I will be testing the film, 5 rolls in 5 developers and with 5 different cameras for 5 days! Tests will look at EI latitude, best shooting speed, best film/ developer combo(s) and a variety of shooting situations. Camera tests will include: Leica M3 Portrait, Widelux F7 landscape, Alfie alt purpose, Zeiss Hologon Ultrawide and a custom 4:1 aspect ratio panoramic camera with a very sharp Schneider lens.
I am hoping this film continues to build on the success of Ferrania P30 with more speed and hopefully the same silver rich tonality-- time will tell!

Looking forward to the next episodes of this series!
Can’t wait to see the results 🙌🏼
Very cool. Looking forward to the results!
Outside, with your hat, scarf and sweater, you are really reminding me of Mick from Time Team (RIP)....
Nice 👍
Great video and all... But I gotta say that stove/ oven you got there is gorgeous! Stole the show for me.
My wife fell in love with that back in 2012 and has been here ever since!
High contrast scene: Ferrania P33, meter for shadows, underexpose by 1-2 stops, stand develop in Rodinal 1:100, only agitate at the beginning for 15 seconds let it stand for an hour... lets see what happens... I'll try this with Ilford Pan F+50 first
I will be posting some developer results today BUT Rodinal 1:100 stand agitated like you suggest or even the whole first min with 10 agitations- I would use a prewet also for 3-5 min but hit box speed with proper metering- no need to underexpose--
More in a few hours!
@@FIGITALREVOLUTION I'm def waiting sir. I don't know where you are... But if you were in Texas... I'd def visit and say thanks
is that a hektor? i have one in m39
Yes indeed!
Hey! Any idea what HC110 Dilution b times would be? I can’t find it anywhereeeee. Thanks!!
You could start with the P30 times and adjust from there but be sure to run tests first.
I actually ran it at 5 mins at 68 degrees F. They came out beautifully. I’m excited to see how they print
Why are the folks at cinestill sending you Ferrani film ??? liked the video , but cannot validate the shoot with prints .get your ass in the DARK ROOM ! PRONTO !!!! :D THE GOAL IS THE PRINT .. come on dude , you're not millennial or gen z , your gen X , Gen X print !!!
I’ve tested for CineStill for some years and they are distributing or helping Ferrania- they asked. My darkroom print days ended in 2004- had 8x10 and 2 4x5 enlargers but when the d’Vinci Platform was offered to me it fixed a lot of paper options for me quick.
