great video, really nice examples. love the look of the film. but there isn't much faces in here, I shot my first roll of p30 and the absence of red sensitivity makes it hard shooting faces (having said that, I was more zone metereing the shots with my canon A1 and not spot metering). stuff I shot for contrast was amazing, and late afternoon early evening light street photography looked like a fellini film on the p30. does the p33 have any more red sensitivity to it?
Very interesting to see your process for evaluating this film. Out of curiosity, what software is that you're using at around 30:00 to show the info on the roll?
XMind … I’ve used it for many years for free and have never upgraded to the pro version … I have to say no to the ads sometimes, but it continues to be free
I only shot one roll and developed in D-23 and I wasn't happy with the detail, so I think I'll try Rodinal next time. It's essentially very much similar to P30 but with a true speed of 160 (maybe even closer to 200). I didn't notice any white dots on my roll. Also I too noticed it was harder to wind in my Leica M3 and I actually ripped sprockets when it reached the end of the roll. I've never done that before (on that camera).
Rewinding with M6 and took about 2-3 times as much force as normal… that’s so much that I think some cameras might not actually be able to rewind this film.

Yes, much more red sensitivity

Maybe just dust … hopefully

Interesting. I'll be trying the P30 and once my supplier gets his order I'll get a couple rolls of P33 and try them out together.
Good show. I hope those ' white ' dots do not happen to be what Fomapan 200 suffers from.
May just be dust … I should have mentioned that … I’ll be more careful with the 2nd roll to ensure no dust and see if I still get it
thanks for video but even at 1.5x speed is still slow...
Funny thing is that’s me trying to be fast … You should be able to choose 2x … slow is my speed … my brain is slow
I skipped to the end. Wish there was a timestamp
thanks... I'll see if I can figure that out
