    Thermostat is on the other side you’re working on the wrong side. Thermostat is behind the alternator.!😂😂😂😂😂

      I confirmed your suspicions half way through…… so yes the thermostat is behind the alternator… lol

      Not a problem. Showing the difficulty and issues you run in to helps to understand we’re all human and sometimes it sucks if you don’t research enough….

      It can be fixed, just takes some time and loss of skin lol, it’s pretty straight forward! Thanks for the comment! You should considering subscribing, I’ll be doing more with the envoy soon! If there’s anything your trying to figure out let me know and I’ll see if I can make a video on it.

      Hey Good job man!! You still playing the whole video without editing out your mishap shows that your human!! Everyone makes mistakes, the ones that can admit it and move on are the ones I'd rather learn from any day! I'll watch more of your videos for sure! Just changed my water pump yesterday! Bearing was shot and had the pulley and fan wobbling like a figure 8. lol. New one went right in! Thought I'd mention to those learning they I think you forgot to mention, but torque the water pump bolts to spec in a cross cross pattern. Prevent any leaking. Anyhow, great video man. Look forward to more. 👍

      @@TheShopWorldWide actually it doesn't work don't have good access for the top bolt plus if u have to remove the hose from the thermostat housing u don't have enough room to access the clamp best way is the way u did it it's more work but makes job lot easier I'm working on a 03 trailblazer ext it's a hazle u can access the bottom bolt an top with a 10 millimeter socket an a swivel adapter an a few extensions through the fender by removing tire but won't be able to remove the hose unless you try to wiggle the hose out there an off the truck completly because when you put it back there's no way not enough room to see if the o -ring doesn't feel out of place , Remove alternator/battery an u have plenty of room . I'm Changing hoses too. Good grief/ Charlie brown) lol

    I have a question for you. Where did you order the radiator that had a working peacock for your GMC Envoy? I'm about to replace mine and everyone is saying that there is no version with a petcock, but I see that is not the case due to your video.

    • @TheShopWorldWide
      @TheShopWorldWide  2 роки тому

      I ordered it off of Amazon
      amzn.to/2VZn2h0
      It worked great too!

    Could ya hear any water slushing sound ,when ya was inside the car driving? I did my radiator an fan, but could hear it circulating from inside when I drive it,then tonight it started over heating. Thanks I appreciate it

    • @TheShopWorldWide
      @TheShopWorldWide  Рік тому

      Yea I had some bubbling and slushing from the dash (I think it was some air in the heater core). After swapping everything in the cooling system I never had a problem.

    Wrong again... if you take out 3 of the bolts on the fan and leave one threaded in a few turns the fan will pop

      I had my driver side actuator go out, and then tried to replace it. Which didn’t work. So I just flipped the door to cold and left it that way lol. So during winter I just shut the vents. It’s not difficult to replace though. It’s next to the driver pedal just pull the panel to the console and it’s right there.
