Beautiful. What a good son and a blessing that you have such a sweet mother. LOVED THE DISHWASHER DRYING rack! And I was looking for a soy bean sprout side dish recipe!
I love your mother, she makes me happy. And it's so funny listening to the two of you comment back and forth about measurements. Look forward to seeing another video.
Oh I love her she reminds me of my MOM she was Korean came to America in 1953 she is gone now but I love looking at Korean people do things that I did not learn from my mom
Oh I love watching your video thank you for sharing. Now I’m going to watch all your videos and then make some of your recipes because Korean food is my favorite .Love you ❤
As a Korean I can totally relate to the dishwasher being a drying rack and eyeballing all measurements! Your mom is soooo funny and cute! Thanks for the 😂
She is such a sweetheart. Your lucky to have her in your life. I made this as well. Instead of salt I added soy sauce. The Dashi gives it a great flavor. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Frankfurt Germany
This was too cute. I had an easier time following this recipe because of the visual measurements. It made sense for me vs using actual measurements. 😂😂
this recipe works with mung beans too!! i went to the market and they had no soybean sprouts and mung beans is ALMOST the same! great taste either way!❤️
I love your mom. She is totally like my mom! The dishwasher is the drying rack, of course it is! I laugh until I realize I do this all the time too. oops! I loved the interaction with your mom - so cute! Reminds me of my brother. The measurements are also classic. Don't show my refriger! =) Thanks for an uplifting fun time. I need to go call my mom now.
Your Mom is so cute and funny. She reminds me of my Mom. It’s such a bless to have food which was made by Mom everyday. Now I miss her and her cooking as well. I ‘m going to make this side dish tomorrow . I love Korean foods, they are so delicious, especially Bimbibap, spicy fried rice cake, BBQ.
God bless your not ugly baby channel, it's inspiring to aspiring youtuber "like me" but cannot start even one ugly video. Looking forward to more videos from you JOHNNY.
This was so cute! Totally how we cook at home too for traditional stuff, no real measurements 😅 I'd like to call it the Asian eye ball cooking style. Additional info 비리네 - a bit fishy smell. And omg 소고기 다시다 makes so much sense, def trying this next time! 😆 I'm going to have to hunt down that 깨소금 too! I dont think I've ever seen that in our Korean groceries in my country 🤩 Mom should add in "구독 해주세요" in the end 😉
ah yea! she said fishy smell too, i looked for a direct translation and couldn't find anything, so we will go with fishy smell 100% lol thanks for watching, glad you liked it - more coming :) .. im finding that mom uses dashida for everything.. i think i should do the same too!
I had sooo much fun watching this, hahaha. It was so entertaining. I was actually looking for a soy bean sprout recipe for bibimbap, so your clarification at the end was really helpful. I actually lost 50 pounds eating just Korean food, and your TV series, priceless!! Thanks Korea and you guys for contributing to my wellbeing during this pandemic!! As soon as this is all over, I'm going to South Korea! I'm Cuban-American but I consider myself Koreanized!!! :) :)
Hi Monica thank you for the thoughtful comment! I showed my mom this as well which put a big smile on her face. We are glad you stumbled upon our little video and are happy to hear about your ongoing success with your health! That is super rad!! I cant wait to visit korea too when this is all over, make sure to reach out if you have any questions while you are there one day. All the best, stay safe and happy cooking 💙
The soup spoon your mom used to measure the sesame oil is actually half a Tablespoon or 1.5 teaspoons. I measured mine one day. The smaller spoons actually hold just one teaspoon.
When draining sprouts or greens or beans after rinsing, it is important to scoop the rinsed vegetables into the strainer instead of simply pouring them in. Pouring them from the rinsing bowl deposits any settled sand or dirt from the pot directly on top of the rinsed vegetables.
Kongnamul muchim has always been my favorite banchan. You ask how do you eat it? My answer is by the chopstick full straight from the bowl. I am embarrassment to my eomma. I can eat an entire meal of just kongnamul, sigumchi namul and tong baechu kimchi.
I was looking through recipes online wondering why mine always tastes so bland until its been in the fridge for at least 24 hours. Was contemplating adding some chicken or beef powder and then this video confirmed my suspension! Beef powered it is!
Your Mother is PRECIOUS!!!! Loved watching her cook like a real Momma does. Please do more with her!
If I did this to my mom (inundating her with questions while she’s cooking) I’d get kicked out of the kitchen 😂 This lady’s patience is next level 🙌🙌🙌
i was going to say the same
Conversation between the two was too cute and make us more enjoyable 😃😃😃 lovely and thanks for sharing kongnamul recepie

The best part is the measurements 😜. I’m trying both on my next Korean BBQ night. Thanks

MOM IS SO CUTE!!!!
You are too cute...u make a wonderful mother I suppose!
As a Mexican, I approve of the dishwasher storage 😂 we use our oven as storage so it’s no different
I liked just for the measurements!🤣
She speaks great Eng for her generation!

Her measurements 🤣🤣😂😂😂 about to try this now
Good luck lol
you mom is so funny, everything is less than a teaspoon 😂

brroooo! haha - hope you been good *HUGS* 😚😛
She used Korean’s mom measuring system! ;)
hahahah classic mom! they guesstimate! 🤣
Kongnamul muchim has always been my favorite banchan. You ask how do you eat it? My answer is by the chopstick full straight from the bowl. I am embarrassment to my eomma. I can eat an entire meal of just kongnamul, sigumchi namul and tong baechu kimchi.

It’s a table spoon mama your garlic and sesame seeds …hahahahaha
The measurements had me dying 😂🤣 maybe you should get her eyes checked 😂

Damn I’m laughing so hard when you keep correcting the measurements
I think ur mom thinks a tablespoon is a teaspoon 😅
gently marinate❤❤❤❤❤
