I’m excited to try slides.
Thank you. I really want to start experimenting with using slides this year. I'm a resource teacher and do small groups in my room but they move fairly quickly and it would be good to include slides.
Of course! Oh and I can see how they would be really beneficial to your days as a resource teacher! You might only use 2-3 slides per group each day.

Thanks for sharing these ideas - I will be trying most suggestions this year in my class. I am just wondering what happens if the students don't tidy up by the time the timer gets to zero? Are there any consequences? Is there make-up time in breaks?
You are so welcome! The class knows if the timer is at zero and they are not cleaned up and at their desk that we will have to begin cleaning up even earlier until we can achieve success. Everyone loves the extra time to do the activity, so no one wants to have to clean up earlier. If it was just the same student repeatedly, I would work out a plan for just them.
Hi! A question - would I be able to use slides if all I had was a TV screen and a Chromebook that could hook up to it? I totally love your slides - what a lot of wonderful organization you have done!
Hi there! Yes, I have taught with a chromebook hook up before! I used my slides primarily with boards that were not interactive, so I think it could still work well! The only thing that would be hard is trying to show work on the TV. Is there an attachment they give you so you can demonstrate filling out a page via the slides?

Hi there! We go week by week, so each date on the left hand side represents that full week of school and what we were working on for the full week.
