When it's Sunday, it's time for beers and breakdowns.
On God 🍻
Hell yeah!
The episode to watch is Dark of The Moon - it’s just the guys and all action. It also shows how operators mix in with conventional U.S. forces.
"Force Majure" was probably my second favorite.
That’s my favourite episode
Bad Beats, another good one.
That Special Advisor is Eric L. Haney, you will find his name at the base entrance, also, this series is based off of his book, "Inside Delta Force".
I like what you said abt "The Unit" in your last show: "LOVED the show before SF....not so much afterwards." And that perfectly sums up why i thought it was so cool
I can’t wait to see buck hate everything
I get the complaints about the family drama in The Unit and Seal Team, but I think their goal was to show these guys aren't just a break glass and send to war, that they all the normal family shit to deal with on top of everything else.
I think the family drama is what makes these shows standout.
100% agree it’s an aspect that is super important and isn’t talk about enough.
I wouldn't have half the show without the family drama...people don't realize soldiers have families ?? although they could show more divorcees and wives being hookers...
@@yetiz_gaming230 I can't wait for their comments on what the col. Is up to.
@yetiz_gaming230 Seal Team and The Unit to a lesser extent, made a really good effort at showing the trauma suffered from off the battlefield and on families. The one where the wife is randomly killed in a TC and her husband's response of, I was supposed to be the one that died. I'm sure that has happened, whether an accident, cancer, or something an had all those aspects to deal with, do I stay on the teams, how do I deal with it if I do?
@@davidjob4909 CBS Seal Team
The Unit was one of my favorite shows at the time. Now watching and hearing your reactions to these movies and TV shows is truly now one of my favorite viewing pleasures. Thanks
Land navigation during jungle school at Ft Sherman was really tuff! Add night time and it was really tuff! I was the point man for our company. It started in daylight, but went into the night. We had to negotiate a cliff and a stream. We were right on with our hook up.
Man i miss this show, snake doc, hammer head, dirt diver, betty blue and cool breeze..
I used to watch this show every week.
Glad to see you came around
man i just gotta let you know how much u motivate me .... from watching your videos how to deal with some things mentally from your experiences in special forces and watching you march videos .. man i never tought I could reach 24 km of running .. well half of that goes to you cuz you changed my mentality complitly .. thank you man! much love
Always enjoy listening to your guys bantering while reacting to the shows. That's the gold of this channel.
I can remember so many officers wives would demand a salute b/c they were driving a vehicle with an officer tag on it (back in the day we had color codes for officer/enlisted).
Looking forward to many more of these, love the reactions and the stories.
Thank you guys
We had a CSM's wife who wore her husband's rank. If she didn't get her way, you made life miserable for their husbands.
The Unit was ahead of its time. Loved watching it back in like 2007-10?
And dear god, buck NAILED it on the ruck march sentiments. I mean shiiiit. Did they have to pick a distance that far??? Lol
16:20 Last year, I worked at a lake as a Park Ranger (civilian), and me and my coworker were talking to a sheriff deputy we worked alongside with. He straight up told us if we were ever questioned by the cops, to shut the f*** up and get a lawyer.
8:07 the burst of mg fire is literally just a sound bite of the halo warthog turret shooting
Opened UA-cam and saw new fng beers and breakdowns made my day!!! Love you guys, amazing work and you make me lmao👊
I think you guys should react to the military scenes from Dear John, since his character is a green beret in the movie and the gear was pretty spot on
It’s a shame The Unit got cancelled because it got really good in the fourth and final season. Up until the last season, it felt like I was watching a “show” and when it improved it felt like a solid, really long modern action film.
I still love the unit
The episode wheee they save the president was pretty dope!!!
Glad you guys are giving this show a second chance. After your review of episode 1, I wasn't sure y'all were comin' back for more. There are a couple of exceptional episodes coming up.
I really, really need Reuben's OF link...
I love these reviews!
I was stationed in Japan when I bought the box sets of the first two seasons, outside of the Hollywood BS I really enjoyed it. What I found out later is that the series was produced by Shawn Ryan who also produced The Shield, one of my favorite TV series.
For your next video topics: - movie, “Snowden” (2016).
-MacVsog selection and missions.
-Kandahar Giant.
-Area51. u.s. navy in bermuda triangle.
that gps error had me in stitches ya facial expressions.............[ stitches ] ........uk slang for laughing hard !
When you talk about military wives I understand completely however, I do have to add that it is usually ( not always) American wives who were born here that will act like entitled and believe they have the same rank as their husband.
My wife (she is from Colombia)was never like that toward any wife rather it was E or O she treated everyone with the same respect. Her only biggest issue was women that she felt/saw were taking advantage of their boyfriend and even then she would just tell me about it.
I was never ODA so most of my soldiers were much younger than the guys in SF and their wives.
That’s so true about officers’ wives thinking they hold the same rank as their husbands. And don’t even get me going on how they act in the Officers’ Wives Club, if that’s still a thing!
Allegedly Dennis Haysbert has quite the Unit.
Love watching you guys!...love everything...could you guys do video on "13 hours"....also thank you for your service....and making beers and breakdowns!!!...👊👊👊
I like it when you ship motorcycles, and they open the box upside down.....awesome...
Best episode guys!
I know you mentioned Tyler Grey coming back, can I recommend Seal Team Season 2 Episode 11 which is an airplane hostage rescue joint rescue with SAS I'd love Tyler's view on who would be in charge & Jason struggling with not being in control of his own team. & the intel people are trying to get as much info until moments before the assault.
From Google "Tritium-based paints on dials, which were used by numerous watch brands, including Rolex, were banned in 1998. The use of tritium has for the most part been entirely supplanted by a non-radioactive luminous substance that traces its origins all the way back to 1941 and a Japanese inventor named Kenzo Nomoto." An old watch maybe? Or special for Tier 1 operators?
Yea that was a really good documentary@@GinaLola . Although I think Radium was replaced by Tritium a much lower radiation output But I think the public was still concerned and government banded the Tritium on watch dials. But check me on this. Thanks for the input.
Reaction to Buck’s GPS story
Our unit’s GPS never worked when I was in. ( Marine here)🤣
I can't wait til you guys get to episode 8. SERE Training Course. Would like to know what you guys think about it.
Amazing episode. Have you guys done "The Kingdom" yet?
i love this show. i wish they would finish it
more unit content love this show (and there’s a lot of so stupid it’s funny content)
That's funny you mentioned First 48. Tom Segura has a bit on that, 'what I learned from First 48, is Lawyer, and the detectives are like "fuck!" Then the blurb at the end is so and so had no charges filed.
Funniest episode ive watched in a long ass time lol. Thank you guys
I really didn't expect you guys to come back to this show...
He should have tried to sell that guy some great insurance from All-State.
I'm pretty sure one of the OG Delta guys(Haney?) was the main tech advisor on that show.
Miss the unit. ❤
cool with beer holder built into sofa
I can attest that I suggested the unit and you guys delivered, curious if guys will break. Down “ A Bridge Too Far” it’s a war classic
12:17 somebody come grab my pallet!!!!!
Giggling
I learned years ago to fast forward through all the “home drama” in military shows. The FF button is your best friend! 👍👍👍👍
LAN NAV in Korea. That’s pro level.
BEERS CHUGGIN NATY ICE WITH THE BOISSSS BOIS BOIS BOIS
Lol!!! Gotta love that FRG meeting. I love your show. I feel like I'm with my bros and watching cringey movies.
110% SPOT ON!!!!
Movie Suggestions - Blood Diamond and Body of Lies.
Please do breakdown of Body of Lies!
Yep wow 😮
25:42 you guys know shit are the funniest two people I have ever seen……………. “ I was gonna wait for you to help me.” I’m over here dying laughing. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
‘71 guys you will love it I promise you.
Thinking using the tritium from the my compass and watch - I had a radioactivity warning on the case of my compass when I was in :(...
I remember renting from Blockbuster, two seasons,it would close soon after, should have kept, but bought the third season at Fry's or something
I remember this show, fk I’m old
I never watched this show but the guy jumping out of the plane at the end made me laugh. Also I've never heard anything more true about how as you progress up tiers in the military, you bitch more about dumb shit. So relatable.
BROOO you guys should review the film "Taken" that would be awesome. Love your stuff!!!
Ayeee, is that an electronic drum kit in the background!? Who's playing drums?
I totally vibe with that 23:08 whole team is pissed we’re going to get it done they know we’re going to get it done but why?? Why this way?? That’s how it be when you’re in the FIST
Fucking Send IT Brother 🤙🏼
When your point man “dies” and you are hoping to god they pick someone who knows where to go and they call you up front…. The best 🤦🏿♂️
Is Able the reason there's an electronic drum kit in the background?
I mean the fact that the Americans had a PSG-1 is pretty crazy. I’m not aware of any instance in history of these being used by American forces. They mentioned something about not leaving an American footprint, but the PSG one is only chambered in NATO calibers. Also the recoil on that thing and to hold it by the bottom of the mag is equally as crazy.
Did you all forget about south african apartheid? Africans are very aware of european colonial discrimination.
Idk, I did 4k in -11 with a windchill of -28. 19 miles, no thanks, but I've done 20 something b4 and it does suck. I was crawlin by the end of it. Reall6 nice old people offered me a ride but I had to turn them down because I wanted to see what running in that lind of weather felt like. They wouldn't let me run home at night!! Lmao
Sir my dream is to go to CAG and serve my country
I know you weren’t in cag but would an option 40 or an 18x be a straighter path in your opinion?
Have ya'll done The Pentagon Wars
Has the show tour of duty been reviewed?
This show always seemed so vanilla... but back in 2006, there was not that much information on the public. So i can understand it
Dennis Haysbert is the man! Snake Doc all the way.
I’m finding it really hard to believe you guys
The military (mostly infantry and SF):
Where you learn to use the word fuck 30 times in a 10 word sentence.
😂 always a laugh
Snake Doc out....off to sell some insurance.
DITY MOVE LOL
I still reckon you need to check out Rogue starring Megyn Fox!
Great memories about PCS'ing and all the FUBAR-ness that can happen with it. 😂
19 miles that equal 30+ km.
BNB request. The Mark Wahlburg comedy Shooter.
Its called a 436L pallet my dude
i believe the creator of the unit was an actual CAG operator
Oh tritium is radioactive alright. Read about the women back in the day that would paint the dials on watches and later on die…..
21:17 HAHAHAHAHA 1000%
15:40 tell me you watch Tom Segura without saying you watch Tom Segura lol
Echo 3
It's been a while since I watched The Unit but I remember it taking a serious nose dive in the third season I think. It was after they changed the cool theme song to some generic trash.
26:21 I’ve got a land nav story for you. Don’t worry it’s fucked up.
Hey guys
I was wondering maybe you could make a video about a Polish movie called "KARBALA" 🙂
Hey guys can you do Denzel's Safe House please?
The funniest thing about this- Most SF guys don't know shit about building air-load, or convoy loads. They throw that shit in there, and fill up the pallet, as much as there's room.
And your personal experience is?
@@jamesstanley2700 Being there and spilling and having blood spilled.10 years before the mast.
Not me making my divorce from a SF guy my entire personality on instagram 😂 hahahahaha
