I like how this song uses all 3 of the valves well, on peaces that hardly make you use the 3rd valve or even peaces that don’t have a 3rd valve in them, I’ll sometimes use the alternet fingering for 1&2, which is 3, or I’ll finger high D as 1&3.

You did great pitching the notes above staff lines on que exactly, nice work :) , little heads up r u able to just direct your trumpet next to the mic rather then at it??? It sounded as the mic had muzzled it a bit thats all

What microphone do you use to record? I'm trying to find a microphone that would get a decent recording of my trumpet, and yours seemed to work pretty well.
I don't like it that much, sadly :P My notebook has a very poor sound card, and I have to add +30dB to the recording volume. Besides that, I only use the delay effect in Audacity. All my equipment is listed in the About section of my FB page.

Haha, my C# and D notes are so high and false, I had to learn adjusting it at a faster pace. Even with shorter fingers, you should be able to extend it to a degree.
It extends the way of the air going through the trumpet, therefore making the notes (using the third valve) lower a little bit. C# and D tends to be too high, that's why I have to adjust.

Of course everyone prefer sheets, it's the easiest to read, but there is no sheet music unless someone actually creates it. Yet, I spend the time to transcribe the notes (yes, the "kiddie" thing) to help out as much as I can. Feel free to either make a sheet on your own, or just do the easy thing of playing by ear like me (should be easy for a better trumpet player). Because if you can't, might as well reconsider what a "kiddie" is. About the echoes, they are added on intention.

Every note above high C can be played with any fingering too, which is when it the harmonics get really crazy :D
