In the first part of the song, I followed the rythym of the original recording, the second was more "freestyle".

This song pretty much sums up 2018 for me and since i play the trumpet i thought this was amazing. Not only did you cover one of my most favorite songs in the world but you also covered it on the thing i love playing the most. Beautiful sound bro... keep up the good work!

I stopped playing 48 years ago by ear, read very little enough to get the beat. Sold my Trumpet and Flugelhorn 5 years ago, I have only my right arm, I am 68 yo. Just two weeks ago, I was looking for a used trumpet, and found one nice and in excellent conditions,
I am 68 yo, stopped playing 48 years ago, I play by ears and read very little enough to get the beat. I just found a nice Jupiter 600, I only have my right arm, and that don't make it very easy at my age, but I am healthy and love music. Things in life some time are hard but never impossible. I sold my Holton Trumpet and a Flugelhorn 6 years ago, I sure regret it, but I know I can't recuperate the time lost, but I sure can get back at playing and enjoying my life, I practice 3 or 4 times at day for half an hour, I am seeing some improvement, thanks to some good hearted trumpet players who teach music in UA-cam, I am sure if you put your heart to it, you will do great, especially when we have God in our heart. Keep in touch and let me know how things are going. Yes you can!

Captain Jack I play by ear, sorry, but this is kind of a "free-style" song, just try to play it over an instrumental, you can even folllow my fingers. Once you get the notes right, it won't be hard to play.
The price of my trumpet was around 550$ converted from my currency (like 10 years ago), it's probably way more nowadays.
