That was fascinating to watch . It reminds me of my late Grandfather who taught me that “any job that is worth doing is worth doing well”. How true that you have just demonstrated that to be. Great skills that I had never dreamed would be required to stick Vynil onto a door card. I wonder how many people would take that much care to produce such a great end result. Great presentation.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great stuff!! 👍
Thanks! 👍
Proper job. Looks great. If you were covering in leather would you need to trim the panel edges down by the material thickness to ensure the fittings and panel refit?
No the cards will fit just fine
Great skills 👍
Thank you
Wonderful work. I'll be in touch. Do you think it would be doable to do a Puma Double Din centre console? Ideally in leather. (It would eb door cards, cubby and a few other dash bits too).
everything is possible
Always great work and attention to detail. Curious, what’s the sort of cost for a client if they got this done?
the cost in plain vinyl is £250 per card
So neat!
How much do you charge for this service?
Could you retrim with waxed cotton?
Thank you.
The cost starts from £250 per door card. waxed cotton can't be used because the wax will not allow the glue to stick
Do you trim the edge of the cards to compensate for the thickness of the material?
Nevermind just read a similar comment
ok
I’m in the US or I’d be knocking on your door. Would you ever put foam between the vinyl or leather and the card?
There’s not enough room between the card and the box that the seat sits on and would end up marking the card
