Much mutch better than those original brital plastic clips. All doorcards in the world should be fixed like this!
The old clips I guess work when new but after removing the door cards once they are not the same again !
When My Land Rover was bran new , I removed all door cards & wax oiled the inside . It prevented steel / alloy powdering up . - 22 years later when OAB went to pastures new Still the Doors still looked bran new ! - Love the Cards , Im still missing " OAB" ,-
Great design! I will look at these for my next project. FYI astro pneumatic makes an outstanding tool to set rivnuts.

What about trims for the rear doors for Puma & td5 defender.
Love these, really great idea. Question could you do a roof lining pack of those smart riv nut sets? The fur tree studs just don’t hold the roof lining in place properly at all

Does anyone know if these will work on puma doors ? I have a 2008 fender 110 would like to know if they work
like these proper fixwith rivnuts hope there affordable
They are more expensive that i wanted them to be - the plastic sheet costs have gone up 50% in 12 months !
Great upgrade. Do the fit Puma doors?
Only down side is bottom riv nuts will get wet and cause a problem when you need to get in to repair the window winder
Never had the plastic fir trees fail as long as you know where they are and have the tool to get them out there ok
I have abs door cards more durable than the factory ones for a work enviroment
Do you do them for the newer puma doors as well or just the old shape like you are demonstrating on
They sound a bit echoey, I wonder if a bit of sound deadening on the inside would be a good thing to do, adds a bit of weight and stops any flexing.

Would be nice if you had incorporated a side window demister vent that buts up to the dash. I think that is more usefull than the tweeter pod. Obviously you would also need a T-piece to tap into the hose for the window vent but should be doable als similar kits are on the market but don't channel the hot air right upto the window.
Don't you drive them with the window down anyway? So no mist.
I have to have the window down to fit in the car ! my arms need somewhere to go... new armrest built into the top of the new door card !
Hi, great product! Are you doing some for the rear csw 110 doors? Also i have a wright off road matting kit which is slightly thicker than stock matting and my genuine door cards hit the matting on the seat box… what is the clearance like here?
Hi Stephen - the rear door option is a possibility. I have to be honest there is not a whole load of clearance between the door and the seat box - I can ask Julian to measure it.
Well Simon!! I am really impressed with this update, I thought you had forgotten us drivers of real Defenders in favour of the new poser Defenders, I was only looking at my door cards yesterday thinking they looked a bit dowdy, now here you are offering this sensible update, definitely will be looking at these, they will also give better access to the door solenoids and electric winder system, which are a pain to access with the self destruct Christmas tree fitting lugs, very many thanks for your positive efforts on this one! @@L663 Ha Ha! There is not room in the Defender for window winder handles, so the only way is electric windows, not sure why they did not make the bulkhead 3 " wider, there would be plenty of room then. Your door cards will make access to the locks and winder so much easier, especially by using Avdel tappings. Stay safe ! Chris B.

At last a decent upgrade for the defender door cards, are you planning on making add on's for these in the future? like little net pockets like MUD do etc.
Yes we need to get all the small items sorted - we need to do more for the original Defender

Now sadly my 110 had to be sold due to illness -Bought a Volvo instead ha ha ha , Now at last the Door cards have turned up , Its a real shame . Hope to see you guys at Gaydon -May ?? . Kindest Regards to you all Simon

@@L663 Brilliant. I offered up a newer (push button handle) door trim to mine and noticed the latch (lift up handle) was at a lower position than the cutout on the newer door card. Everything else seemed to line up ok.
My doors also have the rod style internal locking pins, and not like the later style in your video. Can I just fit the later style to my doors when installing your cards?

Not 100% sure - but they are more solid

Hi Paul - when i was checking the description and listing these on our website I was wondering how long before some asks this questions... honest answer is we need to make some money back on selling the front before we invest more in the rear / back doors
@@L663 : You’ll have 2 kits sold in the USA as soon as you add second row. Hard to picture the front only on my 94, 110, but I absolutely love this mod! Job well done!
I would buy these but your website doesn’t knockoff UK tax for overseas purchases, I like them but not enough to pay tax twice.
