I covered this Land Rover Defender interior in REAL leather!. Auto upholstery

This Land Rover Defender has been about 3 years in the making.
It has been with me on about five different occasions in between the restoration of the car.
Now it is complete and is back with it's owner.

Man. I have got to hand it you and your work. The seams for the seats are amazing. For those of you who haven’t tried to upholster anything? Don’t and save your sanity. I tried to do the seat in my 1972 Chevy pickup truck. I wanted diamond tuck and roll. I got a price from the upholsterer and thought “I can do it.” Well, little did I know it’s not so much sewing the pattern… it’s keeping it straight and keep it from buckling. That’s the problem. You do a great job. My hats off to you.

That soft top turned out great! I love the seat design as well. I know you have mentioned it before in the past, but what is the material you use for patterning? I am in the US and getting ready to start my first full interior on a project of mine.

Wenn du von den Kisten die Plastikabdeckung im Motorradmodell abnimmst, kannst auch bei 40 °C noch ne Woche einen Anhänger ziehe. Ich habe diverse gefahren. Für Wintertouren und Show Auftritte gut. Zum arbeiten nicht ausreichend
