This is what I like. An electric car that doesn’t look like a sci fi rendering and with a classy practical interior design. Love to see the more affordable brands take this route too - within Volvo though I think the S60 and XC60 are gorgeous cars, would love to see them electrified.

Idk much about UA-cam channels but I assumed they just schedule the uploads for peak online traffic in the US or whatnot.

@@User-cb4jm Nope, just up late working 😏
I can’t really schedule them because they usually go live with the written review on the website.

Why buy a Tesla when you can buy this

I bought one of these, amazing car.
The lack of blind isn’t too bad, even on a lovely sydney 38 degree day there’s no heat transfer through the glass, it all comes through the windscreen.
Can’t find the driving mode you refer to though, have found it’s right foot dictated :-)
I thought rear passengers might hit their head but it seems alright in terms of head room.
My gripe is the shallow boot, yes it has underfloor but the hard cover gets in the way…

Front brake callipers and discs look a bit under sized for 20" rims .
40m to bring it to a stop from 100kmph is a bit scary.

Not really. That is an average of 1g (ok 0.98 to be exact). For a heavy car, that is spectacular. The average classification for sports cars is (US site) 120 ft from 60mph. That is 36m. If you ignore 60 vs 62 mph, the c40 takes 4m longer than the average sports car. A quick calculation gives 300kW braking average to top 2.2 tonnes of car. I call that good. I may have misinterpreted you - scary braking that quickly in what is really an SUV. Agreed.

@j s Suv's used to be able to brake around the 36m zone but now with extra battery weight they are still trying to utilise the same braking system and tyre width and now braking in large 4x4 distance territory.

@@davidgriggs3967 Which car's top 10 SUV braking distances (albeit petrol) range from 36.9 to 41.3 . This puts the c40 in about the right region vs petrol cars. The weight actually only comes into play if the tyres aren't up to dissipating the energy. The force is proportional to weight, therefore heavier cars have more pressure on the tyres. Theoretical max is 1g without aero effects or sticky tyres. At 100kph, all cars have aero to some degree (windscreen) hence the max braking of around 1.3g. Compared to a car from just a few years ago, it is much better. A 4m difference is a less than a car length - I lifted this from the Which car result..... A 0.14s difference in reactions is all the difference at 100kph.

Would you potentially have access to supercars? Perhaps a Bugatti Chiron for instance?

Not available in Australia, unfortunately. We’ve done a few Lamborghinis and McLarens though if that helps?
