Grapes are the only one on here I don't eat. I found a liquid tumeric, I add a little to each meal with liquid ginger. I found this cacoa powder online & I add it to my whey protein with a little stevia(at dinner). It's like a chocolate shake, almost feels wrong, hahaha... Thanks for all the help, hope all is well, take it easy.

So i was just diagnosed with edema swelling of the ankles and i need some help. I'm crying because i have to give up all my fav foods and i would like some suggestions on food i can eat that is still delicious. Not bland food otherwise i might as well just not eat at all tbh. I love my ranch dressing and i hope there's a version i can have that won't cause my feet to swell. Same with chocolate i love my pb m&ms and i have to give those up as well same with pizza ect. I have to go to the store tomorrow and get some foods and drinks that have no sodium and no salt but that taste good. If anyone has any suggestions i would love to hear them because i don't know what to do. Also healthy substitute for butter and salt. Someone said cottage cheese and yogurt but then someone else said you shouldn't eat that with edema. So I'm sitting in my apt starving right now because every thing i have to eat has sodium in it the lowest thing i could find has 290 of sodium the rest of my food is anywhere from 700 to 990 mg of sodium. I don't eat that much and i only eat pizza every once in awhile. I hope there are sodium free pizzas out there cuz i love my pizza and my pasta. God this sucks i never thought I'd have to do this. Anyways please like i said if anyone has a list of foods or meals and desserts i could eat with my edema please let me know. I'm being a baby about this like it's the end of the world I've just never dealt with anything like this before so i apologize. Also chips and dip is gonna be a hard one to give up as well.

Some of these foods are high histamine and not good for those with histamine intolerance. There are also oxalates and salicylates that some people can't tolerate unfortunately. Otherwise these all sound great!
