I grew up in Dublin & remember seeing Phil Lynott in town. He was unmistakable. Huge black Afro. Sprayed on jeans & An Afghan coat. Well it just couldn’t be anyone else. Gone way too young 😢😊
Tears are just poring down like a waterfall! I always cry when I hear the first guitar tune on this song. But these two together, om my, it was ten times more intense! Phil singing with that cool as fuck style of his and Gary is just amazing as ever. Two beautiful, brilliant young men doing what they do best!
Just Fantastic! There is a Phil Lynott statue in Dublin, but sadly no statue of Gary in Belfast or his adopted home of Brighton & Hove. Surely there should be!! RIP Phil and Gary. ✝️
It shows how they loved each other, when its known that they had really tough things between them but then Phil or Gary always reached out and here they are, Phil is so glad to be with Gary on the stage
There was something magical about the blend of Gary's playing and Phil's vocals on this track. As much as I love so many versions of Gary singing it, you cannot beat Phil's vocal tone and that extra his Irish lilt brought to the song.

BRILLIANT, I saw Thin Lizzy LIVE in late 70s at Dalymount Park, Dublin, Ireland, and they were magnificent, absolutely one of the best gigs I was ever at. Rest Easy Gary and Philo, both badly missed. Thanx for all the Fab music and song.
Saw Thin Lizzy at Stafford Bingley Hall many years ago. It's my birthday 61st today so I'm going through some of the best music I grew up with ❤❤ Have a good day everyone 🎉🎉
Growing up in the 70's I wasn't into rock music, but having said that I liked Thin Lizzy and always admired Phil Lynott.. Phil was a charming dude, you couldn't help but like him
Same. Rock music was not my thing, much preferred Glam Rock, Punk, New Wave, Indie, stuff but Thin Lizzy were THE exception. Zeppelin, Sabbath, Priest, Purple, Ac/Dc for me all fitted perfectly under the umbrella of old, dull, boring, stagnant and something I definitely don't want to be associated with. Lizzy however, despite their musical genre, were somehow still cool and always will be!!
