Gary Moore e amigos na performance da música "Still in Love With You" no concerto "Uma Noite em Dublin: um tributo a Phil Lynott" (tradução livre), que aconteceu no The Point Theatre, em Dublin, Irlanda, no dia 20 de Agosto de 2005. [Parte 5/10]

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve watched this, hard to believe it's nearly 20 years ago now! …Gary Moore without doubt one of the greatest guitarists there has ever been. Like always he gave everything he had in this performance superbly complimented by Brian Robertson…just pure class in every way.
Totally agree
I agree, but the soul of this melody is given by B. Robertson.
AMEN UP IN HERE.
Still listening! 2024. Beautiful! 😢
Here I'm, 2024. Just MAGIC 🎤🎸🎸❤ INCREDIBLE BRIAN ROBERTSON'S RIFF 6:51
Robbo is wrongly underestimated. The guitar solo was spot on. Fabulous peace of music. Gary was just class
I adore Robbo !
I used to dance with my wife to this song in our home... probably too much drink and after we had listened to her favourites first... of course ;-) It means more to me now than when I was younger and saw it played live more times than I care to remember. The words make me cry for the love that I lost when my wife passed away, I know that's not what it's about but it fits so perfectly now!
I wish all good health and a love like my wifes :-)
Insane good. Miss you Phil and Gary. Thanks for the times!
2023.I'm 61 and it's sad that all the best musicians are slowly leaving.
But their music last forever
Me to slowly slipping away from us here on this Earth 🩷 but hey there having a ball up above . Classic from Gary Moore sadly missed ❤
Glad we got new ones carrying the legacy. There will always be the Blues and people that live and feel them in their bones.
Yes and our friends too sadly!😢
My God, what an amazing talent, Gary Moore and Brian Robertson together... beautiful
One of my biggest regrets was that I never saw him live 😳
Le mien aussi 😢 7:18
I've been a Gary Moore fan for over 50 years. For anybody interested check out the Irish band 'Skid Row' and just listen to this 16 year old kid in the late sixties. Phil Lynott was briefly a member of this band. Astounding even at his age.
Brian Downey, what an awesome drummer !!!
I'm slightly drunk and on brink of crying. Gary my man , if there is a realm of eternal happiness and love , you totally deserve to be there. I love you , my idol and amazing human. You are missed and loved. Cheers!

100% agree with you
Well said bro👍
The Guitar tells its own story...Only Gary can make a guitar talk..absolutely a blast
AMEN 😊
He not the only one . That's just silly.
Absolutely correct after he stops singing that quitar he make it sing as well as him amazing what a dou I thought I was the only one that the quitar was singing too. Love this.
@@adamwatson6916 gary is without a doubt the greatest guitarist of all time. gary could play any genre as good or better as any. gary made the guitar sing like no one else could, no one comes close to how perfect gary plays, gary could do it all, play extremly fast sections, play with feel, play slow, play rock, jazz, blues, blues rock etc. the absolute perfect guitarist there is
The greatest guitarists of my life time thank you
If this isn't an antidote to the current culture of talentless celebrities, then I don't know what is. RIP Phil and Gary.
Agree.
Well said and so true ✋🤛
I dare anyone to contradict that comment.
True craft at its best, what an amazing song to write at such a young age, Gary Moore was an underrated song writer. Always thought Phils version was near perfection, reckon this is slightly better. Miss these two artists so much, no auto tune, just real raw talent.
Gary is the only person other than Phil that could do this song justice! Rip to both!
When they asked Brian to rerecord the solo from this song, Gary's signature song, because he had just left Lizzy and the suits wanted Brian on the song. He had just joined and he listened to the lead that was destined to be on the album and he flat refused. He said," It can't be done any better than that and if I can't improve on something I won't do it". What a musician, what a man...... he told them to shove it, it couldn't be done better than Gary had already done....... lol!
Pure class. Where have all the real musicians gone? Will we ever see their like again? I do wonder. RIP Gary and Phil.
Kids today don't want to take time to master an instrument, they just create sounds with computers nowadays, even the vocals, no real art to it.
@@frankwhite2230 And a lot of them can only play one bar, then just loop it, not a real musician, you have to be able to make it for minutes and work through your mess-ups to really get good. This generation is all about instant gratification, the best things never come that easy.
Real players are still here , but they need to be supported, now more than ever, album sales are gone, so its all about the gigs. Hard to get a foot in these days. So you will find them down your local !
We are living in a world gone mad. No love , no hope, no matter
Agreed, We still have david gilmour. Peace my friend
Gary Moore legend RIP
One of the best sad love songs ever. Thanks to gary and philü
Oh yeah, agree with you 🎸🎸🥁💯💥 4:54
Gary,i Love you forever.
Best guitar Player ever
We will never see anyone so talented like this again 😢
Those of us who truly appreciate Gary Moore are inconsolable, he is such a magnificent player, nothing to do with fandom, Gary is a true champion of the people.
Perhaps the greatest misadventure of all Thin Lizzy's hex over their audience: That Moore and Robertson never wrote/recorded/performed together more often.
Can anyone listen to this masterpiece and not instantly think of someone very special in their past. RiP Hazel Xxxx❤💔💔
Now we need a tribute to Gary
Buena hueon 👌🤟
Totally agree
the problem is no one can play like Gary
@@fogboundturtle Agreed.. but some of his old friends like John Skys have enough unique touch to do respectsble tribute songs.. they already did an album for Gary with Bob Daisy. Check out John Skys solo in Still got the blues. RIP Gary.
Who is going to play guitar in the tribute? He was a amazing. There are some versions of Parisienne Walkways that are just mind blowing.
Philo and Gary gone. The world is a lesser place without them. Each in their own right were gifted for their special talent. RIP I hope they have their place in the special band above. Ginger on the drums, Jack Bruce also on base and Jeff Beck also on lead.
I must have listened to this five times a day for the past six months. The last three minutes has to be the greatest moment in musical history that I have yet to “witness”.
couldnt agree more. this song may be the greatest longing (hiraeth) song of all time!!!
THE ONE AND ONLY GARY MOORE.
One of the greatest guitarists of all time. Still miss you Gary but love your music.
13k likes. A thousand of them must be mine. Ultimate class from 2 guys who have lived for that moment.
The solos from both you can just feel it in your heart. Great song
I remember fondly when me and my boys would party all night long on Boys are back in town, Whiskey in the jar…. Can hardly swallow from emotion watching this 27 years later … 😢
JUST HOW GOOD IS THIS, WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF GUY,S LIKE THIS
The greatest guitarist that has ever existed. R.I.P Gary
One of best The Concerts Ive ever Seen.

Gary had given for us alll of his heart !!😢 r.i.p.
The last of the greats...kids need to watch these guys and start playing. So glad im of the generation who the privilege to go see these guys ...thin lizzy simply sublime ...
This synergy of guitar playing in tribute to Phil Linnot is so eternally amazing.
Its beauty brings tears to my eyes.
76 and still it reminds me of standing ankle deep in mud at Reading Rock Festival listening to this song with Phil Linnot in the lead.
The rain, the mud, nothing mattered, I was lifted above it all on this song.
Everything that needs to be said has been said... He was one of the greats.
Fortunate enough to see Gary in the 90’s…there,s great guitarists and then there’s Gary Moore ..he rips my heart out every time I hear him play that thing. No one else can do that but Brian Robertson nails it here so big respect
Every day i have to have my portion of Mr. Gary Moore, can't, don't, won't go without it.
I have watched this video so many times. Truly beautiful. Gary Moore is my absolute favorite blues player. When i hear him play he makes my soul cry.
Without Doubt
Gary the Master
That look on Gary’s face at 3.41 is priceless. His eyes say it all really ‘Told ya lads. Robbo is killing it. And Phil is looking down smiling from ear to ear’ and so is Gary 🙌😢
Gary Moore was fkg amazing 🌍💚🌏
The great man was taken from us 11 years ago, today. RIP Gary.
Gary Moore Leyenda BLUES
Bass line is brilliant 😊😊😊😊😊😊
I’m a metal fan at heart. I started to venture out and listen to other forms of rock.... found Thin Lizzy in 2013 while planning my trip to Ireland. I fall in love with them more and more every day
I realize this isn’t thin lizzy. But this is a great rendition of the song. Gary Moore is on another level in his own right
I saw Lizzy three times when I was still at school back in the early eighties before the big man left us, feel so lucky that I had that privilege, a truly amazing band.
How Lucky r u !!!
I did the same, strangely only ever saw Gary playing support for Whitesnake. Bass players amp broke so he came back and played Parisian Walkways for 20 mins!
I'm jealous man, people who saw them say that they rocked, one of the best live bands, huge energy, Phil such an amazing force.
The man can't do no wrong. Amazing.
Never forget your first guitar player! I was 14 and still the best show!
I seen many many good shows but not like that one. Hot to hustle.
Alot of debate over who was the Best Lizzy lineup. One thing we can all agree on is that they were blessed with great guitarists regardless of your favorite lineup.
GARY MOORE HAS A VERY VERY GOOD VOICE!!!
And is one of the best rock-drummers
hi - greetings from australia - here is my version - i did all the instruments myself ! ua-cam.com/video/qV9w0-OMAD8/v-deo.html
You will not see two masters of the guitar on stage like this ever again....I would love be proved wrong there.....sublime ! Thankyou all past members of Lizzy, all quality musicians in their own rights............This music will live on !
I can't believe how good this is !!!!!
Mr Moore...we lost you 2 years ago...you are the greatest soulful player there is...i thank you for all the beautiful heartful music you left us with...i know you're at peace and still writing great music gary....thank you again....and i still got the blues
Robbo...what a great player, a subtile mix of silences that are also important in music and power attack, one of the best guutarists in rock roll
PHILL LYNOT FOREVER IN OUR ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm in a loop the best duo song I ever heard
Gary, the sadness never ceases, I’m still in love with you - this makes me so sad. 😥
Brian Downey, one of the best rock drummers ever. Period.
Agree 100% and he played for the band and backed guitar solos perfectly
100%
Amen..
Aye, Quality!
...thanks, pal, I was just about to ask who the drummer was...
Brian Downey -- keeping the beat. The exquisite 'anchor' for Phil, Gary and all of Thin Lizzy's artists.
Shout out for the bass player. Can't have been an easy gig.
Gary Moore and Phil Lynott. Legends that can make your heartstrings twang forever. Timeless.
Scott Gorham, Gary Moore, Brian Robertson, John Sykes, the list goes on, these people have brought so much joy to the people who know and love Thin Lizzy. Gary gets and deserves the kudos but they were all chosen by Phil to express and acentuate his music for a reason. I love Brians playing and Scott was as solid as any. The rock world lost so much with the passing of Phil and Gary as is evident here with this wonderful song/lyric and arrangment. First vid I've seen of Gary and Brian together and I was thrilled that it exists, Still in love with you, dancing in the moonlight, the sun goes down, southbound.....ahhh
what a band Thin Lizzy was in all its entities! pulling emotions from your soul, does'nt get any better. So glad to have been along for the ride from the beginning. Play on guys wherever you are!
I see comments everywhere about Gary being underrated, don’t agree at all , he was always very highly rated
He plays with such a passion. It jumps through the screen and smacks you in the face. Very very underrated guitarist. He's a legend
He is not underrated!
@@erikgullemo7599 yes he is
He was never underrated for your info he is and was consider one of the greatest guitarist withing the five best
I thought I had seen some really good guitarist in my lifetime and I have from Jimmy page to slash and everyone in between but my goodness what a graceful ,elegant sophisticated guitar playing man
Definitely was Godsmacked
Thank God for You Tube. These magnificent musicians will never die
This song is a masterpiece
Gary should still be here what a fantastic talent genius.
We don´t have to talk about the guitars. They are 1st class. What we have to discuss is the fantastic drummer, too. :-)
A Sublime guitarist, there are many very talented new young guitarists, there will never be another Gary Moore
Gary was the greatest ever!
He was my favorite, to me , he had more feel than any other guitarist . Right there with SR.Vaughn. @Toni Iomi
This is really true !!
@@davidalewine4995 Yeah he is great (probably one of the top 5), but most people focus in speed playing and effect like Van Halen, Satriani, etc..
I quite agree with you, but you need to have a listen to joe bonamassa, he was inspired Gary along with other blues stars 🥰
Masterclass from Gary and Robbo.!!
Gary Moore led this concert from start to finish what a player, what a true pro. Nobody else could have taken on the role like he did .r.i.p Legend
You cannot beat this.
Doesn't get much better than this.
As all these guys..and girls, leave us over the years, it's like someone chiseling another bit of our soul, heart and youth away.. beautiful memories in all sorts of ways,be they good or sad.. definition of us going through life.. love them all ❤️
Gary was a beast, one of the best, but, even drunk, Robbo has something special, unique and magic in his playing.
It’s so sad 😭 I love 💗 Gary’s Music 🎼 he was one of best players ever 🎸🎸🔝🎤🎸🎸 now Phil and Gary rock the heaven 👑👊👋👏👏
Love the Music of Gary Moore- Blues Heart & Soul 💙🎸💙🎸💙🎸💙🎸💙
Love to see this so many time till now. The class solo.
Guitar is a part of their bodies, band without guitar can not be....
Truly an amazing man who could made his guitar sing soprano or baritone or just anything that took hold of him in the moment always the sign of a great god bless you Gary x
Absolute legend... he spoke to the guitar and pretty much made the guitar scream and cry when he played...r.i.p gary
Man, this entire tribute performance was so next level...no one could have pulled this off but Garry.
There are many unreal guitar players from the last 50 years but very few (if any) had the talent that Gary had. What he could do with a guitar was sublime. RIP Mr Moore
The feel is not something that you can teach, and he had it.
R.I.P. Gary !! THANKS for ALL the wonderful music in the past .... We will not forget you !!
Phenomenal. Even Brian’s flip-flops we’re about to explode!
I am 73 years old and still listening and also have the same question that why all these best musicians passed away one by one?
Living the Blues is HARD. The struggle sucks your soul. 😊
Time up sadly comes to us all sadly, all great happy memories especially music though last forever in our hearts❤👍
I miss Gary Moore....
Me too chap, a wonderful gifted guitarist no doubt!, but a soulful voice also in many recordings.
The man is an absolute genius....r.i.p....Playing for the angels..
Still watching this concert on the 2nd of January 24 pouring down out side and also inside into my whisky RIP Gary and Phil ❤
There is nobody better that the master Gary Moore, or as nearly as good
Moore was a very underrated singer, buckets of soul.
Great range he had . Still got the blues in its orignal key Dmi is extremely difficult to sing.
He did an amazing job of singing this. You wonder how anyone can cover a song sung by such a unique voice as Phil Lynott, but I enjoyed it immensely.
Was thinking that myself... he is amazing 👏
Tankiu very much
Amazing
Saw him at Brighton. His Still Got The Blues solo had me weeping in my seat. He’s simply an insurmountable force.
gary moore... the king you will be never forget you live inside of all of us
thanks for all
