I had to go to an abandoned planet and find drills that had groups of the corrupted sentinels around it. Whenever my alert level went up, it spawned the regular sentinels which ultimately led to a walker and of course killing it clears out the sentinels until you reload your save…
Very very.... very useful. Fully worth viewing the whole thing. As a new player this is completely helping save me tonnes time of running in circles wondering what I should be doing. Definitely making the game more enjoyable now that I know what I'm supposed to be doing and the many little tips and tricks. Jay, you're awesome; many thanks for these videos.
7:12 Do not delete Rancid Flesh, sell it instead. I had like 5 stacks because I was using the plasma launcher to kill them as they spawned. Made millions from just the Rancid Flesh.
You get 600k + for 100 stack, but if you cook it you get 900k +.

you can also buy the advanced mining beam from the space anomaly instead of searching for a building
Sentinel ships can go almost anywhere on the Galaxy Map in one jump, and you don't even need an Iridium Drive installed to go to coloured star systems. It would be great if you could start an expedition in a Sentinel ship, as you could fly to all the Rendezvous point systems one after the other. This would never happen, of course, but I guess some good advice is to try to get a Sentinel ship as early as possible in an expedition

Hey Jason when I heard that for this expedition there was going to be a flamethrower upgrade for the minatour, I was blown away. I can't wait till I get it.
Actually the bio horrors are able to glitch through the floor of buildings and still attack after these updates. Was having quite a bit of fun with that last night while playing the expedition. But in the past they couldn't do this. So not sure if this is a new bug introduced within the past few updates or now intended.
When it comes to the advanced mining laser, check the 2 multitools they have at the space stations, they normally have an advanced mining laser you can swap out for
I noticed in the video that the little spiders were counting for you in the corrupted sentinel milestone. They weren't for me... I believe its a bug related to increasing difficulty. Because sentinels on dissonant worlds have always been buggy when you up difficulty. That first expedition where you needed 18 was a huge pain, because you could only get them around drills, and the alert level only brought regular sentinels. That seemed fixed for this one, but maybe not entirely. I had to do it with only the fliers and big spiders counting.
Same for me this time around, I am at the last system in the Expedition and I am about to give up on it.
you just opene my eyes with the sentinel ship and multi tool with how you do it.. easy level 5 and such.. man! you the best

interesting - I did the corrupted sentinels by buying a settlement map - all the settlements it kept leading me to were owned - It would let me talk to the guy and I would kill the 6 corrupted sentinels - the quest giver would thank me and tell theres a position open for an overseer and another settlement would pop up on my map - - so ya I had to fly around a bit - but I was actually looking for a settlement - never did get one but I got the corrupted sentinels
Someone messed up on that first reward, because you start with the Personal Forcefield plans (same thing happened last expedition). I know, because I had built it at the start just so that I could easily turn off the mortar, because I was spamming right button for "cancel this stupid dialogue" and was dropping grenades all over.
Grabbing larval cores in VR is very difficult. You have to convince the UI that want to pick it up, and try to get the grab/pickup motion to actually get it. This is nowhere near as easy for desktop or console (without VR) where you have a dedicated button/key to collect them. Digging down a little bit before opening can help, but still not 100% pickup chance.
i have mostly just been playing the expedition more like a regular game, built up my scanner so i make millions just scanning on a planet.. bought a good solar sail ship and multitool. could actually buy a freighter already to. also just happened to get a bunch of the milestones. the reward for mining 900 materials in one continuous stream was nice, 6 free inventory expansions.
i was going to go for that ship, but it seems not as good as my ship i bought, soo, maybe not. nice to have the guide, i'm still new and hadn't looked into that stuff at all.
I went to a corrupted planet and only found 3 corrupted sentinels that counted...no other corrupted sentinels counted...went to another corrupted planet and no corrupted that I destroyed counted. What up with that. And yes I had the purple mist expedition selected.

I am all the way to the end, and the planet I am on has HEAT issues ever 3 minutes AND rains ASH all the time. When I trigger Centinels, I get only the normal ones.. so wondering if should fly back towards the starting system and finish the Expo there.
Finally figured out how to do that stupid optional mission. Was killing the hell out of stuff and it wasn't moving. No idea how to find all the step planets though.

Wrong game for that, there's no challenge in this game.
i built a base on a "between worlds" planet that has corrupted sentinels, so i could jump back there and get them, it is also one of the few planets that doesn't have storms (so far)
the count of how much you contributed seems to be broken, i started yesterday before i even got to the first drop zone it said i have "50 and counting" i killed a bunch on other planets, no change... killed a bunch on the drop zone planet, and still no change.. the percentage went up though.

@@boytusok9197 that's odd, i've found them on about 5 planets.. i think my base is in the same system as the 3rd drop zone... if you see a (yes, stupid name) base from the teleporter called "Between worlds Balls?" (might be "balls between worlds?") teleport there, corrupt sentinels everywhere, unless the planet changes AGAIN.. the one creature has changed a couple times. in case the title doesn't give a hint, everything there is shaped like a ball, the creature changed to a balloon, then back to a ball, then back to balloon.

Hi Jason, how are you able to heal back your character so quickly after taking damage? Are there some Exosuit upgrades for that, or some consumables which you're consuming through keyboard hotkeys or something? 🙂
When you shoot or open the loot canisters, it heals your shields.

Just started expedition last night, started with a rifle with a boosted slot, the damage with upgrades I got as rewards is over 5k, makes beating enemies a bit too easy 😅
And I'm doing my own mission and that is going to the centre of the galaxy

I've been playing no mans sky for a week and found no sentinel ships and I did go to dissonance solar systems and found no planets that says corrupted sentinels but I do have loads of radiant shards
@@ThisBodyHasBeenTaken have you tried using echo locators to find camps and locate dissonance spikes? That’s usually where sentinel ships are
I can't collect infestation Beta reward because it says inventory is full although I have plenty of room. Tried it 2 different saves. I am on switch. Is this a glitch?

I’m on infestation omega on phase 5 and I can’t find a waypoint at all, not in my log not on my compass not on the galaxy map, this is my second to last milestone and it seems to be glitched, any help?

Jason we need them to add stuff if they want to community driven stuff because i cant keep track of what im doing i cant see how many kills inmade because its stuck at freaking 50 for two days now
And if its really the case that you need to kill stuff only on rendevouz planets only then they need to put down markers on were the hell you need to go if you activate the optional milestones its massively confuses people and they just end the expedition because of this BS ... PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON THIS SUBJECT
I picked up a B class sentinel ship on the expedition and it was miles ahead of my slow hauler
I could not get the parts... I am stuck with my C-Class Starter ship... its a trashcan
@@NapFloridian It's all about hunting the Dissonance Resonators and gettjng Echo Cores, if you walk right up to a Dissonance Resonator you can see if it will drop a mirror (which you will also need) or an Echo
@@MisterDTwenty The Last system in this expedition has a Dissonant planet, but... and here is my frustration, no SICK Centinels, just regular ones, and you cannot see 3" in front of you. So I asked Jason where that system was, and he found it, as that is not the planet I am trying to pull my mission off.

I don't get the optional objective I been running around on the first planet for a couple days and it still says 50 and counting killed over 100 and it didnt go up even 1% nobody is explaining it good enough

Did you know that you got a ship from the purple energy planet? I don’t remember what its name is. You can sell it and get a lot of money, and not only that, you will get another ship. I don’t know if you should leave your world and enter again, but 👇
But this is a new way for me to make a lot of money and they will give you a ship again and again that's great

You talk about count and all that BUT WERE DO WE FREAKING KEEP TRACK OF THAT !!!! its horribly unclear they just need to put that under the community goal bar cant believe we only get a sidenote on the rightside of the screen occasinally and its there for.max 5 seconds this is a big miss and the whole damn thing will fail because people dont get what they have to do and just leave the expedition ... second comment please react
