At 68, my friends and acquaintances are having health issues, some are on medication. I don't want any of that so I'm fighting back with breathing and embracing the cold! And let me tell you I feel AMAZINGLY ALIVE!

I love these teachings on breathing. Thank you for sharing them.
As a Christian, part of our belief is that we are in dwelt by the Holy Spirit, and He is often spoken of as “wind” or “breath”. That adds to the value of this understanding on proper breathing for me.

      It's OK
Even if only imaginary, this is the framing of another, free and independent human, with a right to opinions.
Yet, our narrow range of perceptibility should cause pause to strict certainty. There are many things happening, including programming concerning religion and its uses by various establishments. The mind control of the indoctrination of the religion allows more easy control based on the fixation of obligations to obey scripture, the sacred writings, words. Then they equivalate knowledge with light with their text(s)!?!?!
I'd say go easy on the 🐑

The Holy Spirit is a person.
Not air. Where is the verse where it is breath. There is none. God breathed the Holy Spirit into Adam. That is God. He doesn't need human breath. He is breathing something entirely different

@@CM7777...John 20: 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them and *said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit."

The thing that I think is important for almost every guest that Dr. Chatterjee has is that they tell people "everyone is unique in their biology". So very important because yes what works for one person won't necessarily work with another. One of the ways that I am trying to fight back against my sleep problems and inflammation (likely caused by my own immune system) is a combination of cold showers (3X daily), then (as a Canadian in the winter - no one knows cold like us lol) I go outside 3x daily and I walk barefoot on the snow-covered landscape. I stay out there for as long as my feet will allow without getting frostbite or other problems of this nature. I have no clothing on other than my shorts. There is a reason for going barefoot. Grounding. Then I also use breathing techniques at least three times a day. I am collecting data on this. My mother was about 25 years before her time. She taught me all about holistic health and the power of the mind. Everything that everyone is doing now she knew about way before it became mainstream. For example, she knew when I was only 4 years old that playing classical music to me as I was falling asleep allowed the neurons in my brain to expand and open up. This was back in 1968. She knew that what I did in my early years set the stage for how I would feel in my later years. She used to say "you are conditioning your mind and body now, and you have to understand what you do now will either allow you to live in a healthy way as you get older or you will be sick". I might also include that she beat her own forms of cancer on three separate occasions. Just a little note.

I've had nasal polyps for decades. Had them surgically removed and they grew right back. Tried multiple holistic and conventional treatments and nothing changes. 100% blocked all night. And, when I consciously notice my breathing, it triggers panic and breathing spasms. I guess I'm doomed.

I have question. I do 12mins Dr Joe Dispenza breathwork and it's actually longer hold inhale through nose... but since it's long I'm confuse should I exhale through nose or it's ok through mouth?
Also, I do short wim hop technique but it's fast inhaling and exhaling... should I also do exhale them through nose as well?

This am one that is not fun of the could. In the the winter, I wear layers and layers of clothing. And even in the summer I wear at least 3 layers. So, I am going to try this because I would like to get over cold and enjoy the cold here in Chicago. So, I will let you know. This week I was washing my face and arms in cool not cold water. So, yeah.

Good for you, do you know that if you splash your face with cold water in the morning, your skin will have less wrinkles. I have always done this without knowing that, but in believe that some actresses believe this. When I was 63 a lady in Austria thought that I was 45. Thought I was trying to get pensioners price. So start there, and good luck.
