Thanks for telling us the torque spec for the plugs! One of the firtst vids I've seen where that critical info was shared. Gonna be some sad bois if you break off a spark plug in there.....don't over tighten folks!
Nice video quick install. The standard spark plug gap for the Nismo 370z is 1.1mm/0.043 thousands of an inch. The limit is 1.3/0.051. if your gap was 0.041 thousands of an inch, that's pretty close and would not cause any problems. Keep up the good work Jack!
Oem GTR spark plugs gapped to 0.030 for NA application recommended by my tuner. The plugs have 2 prongs so just be very careful and take your time when gapping.
Thanks for the video changing out the sparkplugs for my g35 later today or tomorrow. I got a random misfire and a rich condition in bank 1. Hopefully its the sparkplugs, because the coils still are working, but if it isn't I am thinking it could be a fuel injector on bank 1 side and or valve cover gasket (bit of oil on sparkplug cylinder #5, but nothing crazy).
Just use a torque wrench and set it to 14ft lbs. If you cant get one just hand tighten them as hard as you can and then do a quarter turn with your ratchet.
Not one shot of how to get to the back ones which are the difficult ones. Just straight to "all done, k thx bye". How can I replicate what I just saw here when you've not shown the rears?
yeah if you try to gap them with the coin gaping tool you could damage the tip. but good thing that these plugs are already pregapped so you dont have to worry about it. just dont drop them lol.
@@jakesscc9184 I got mine oem from Nissan dealership I get paranoid should I check the gap and make sure they are at the correct gap or should I just assume they’re all gapped correctly
You didn't show anyone how to change the spark plug at all.
Man wtf?! Why is it so clean under the bonnet 😁

What are the odds , just a few months ago I was watching videos for my z31 , now I’m just tuning in for nismo vids , v1 2012
Great video. I just hit 70k, pulled my plugs and they look exactly like yours. Very helpful explication also. Thank you
Perfect video for what I needed! Thanks!
good stuff man! super helpful since i gotta do my plugs soon haha
Thanks. Pretty much the same as it was on the 350Z as I recall.
Nice work! I'm thinking of getting this done soon and then tune (not expecting much).
thanks I appreciate it. Definitely get it done before your tune so you can make as much power as possible and have the cleanest burn.

Great video man. Very helpful and clear instructions. How much did they charge you for each spark plug at the nissan dealer.....I need mine done soon.
We gotta do it both g and z bro lol
Thanks man I appreciate it! I think it was like 90 all together but I know someone that works there so mine was discounted.
So how do you know that you torqued them down at 14psi, i need to do mine but im stressing on how much do i need to torque them down.

Jake's SCC weird because the gap is 1.1 mm but the ones I bought came pre gapped at 0.41
@@RzVids where did you get your plugs from?
