Just to let everyone know, ALLDATA says 14ft lb on the plugs with 0.43 gap and 75 in-lb for the throttle body. If you guys remove the intake manifold 14 ft-lbs. 15-22 might be too much🫡

Thx! one revision/note...Factory service manual says 0.043 in, or 1.1mm gap on plugs. Don't use a round gapping tool to expand the gap per Denso. Quote: DO NOT LET THE PLIERS OR GAPPING TOOL TOUCH THE IRIDIUM CENTER ELECTRODE OR PORCELAIN.

Thanks for the detail on this item; it's really helpful in alerting us as to what to expect in doing this job.
My Z has about 63K miles on it, so I've been thinking about changing out the plugs and manually cleaning the throttle bodies. What would be your opinion on the deposits on the sparkplug insulators and on the electrode gaps. My guess is that the iridium tips would wear very little but I am curious about it.
I think NGK and Denso are using anti-seize coatings on the spark plug threads, obviating the necessity for applying anti-seize compound. If you're changing the plugs at 60K miles, or so, I don't think that there's that much chance of the plugs seizing in the head, another reason to not leave the plugs in for 100K before taking them out. If you do apply anti-seize compound to the sparkplugs, I would torque them to maybe 70% of the spec value, since the anti-seize is a lubricant that will reduce the amount of applied tightening torque used up in overcoming thread friction and shift more of it to the axial clamping force and thus risking stripping of those aluminum threads in the head.

Hey man, thanks for another video, I do have a question.. I've lowered my q50 just with eibach pro kit and I've 19" wheels with 255/35/19 .... My tires are completely dead because of the camber, when I lowered, the guy told me that it wasn't necessary align or anything but now I've to order new tires and I'm not sure if just an alingment will fix, some people told me something about check the toe, have you aligned yours? DO I need camber kit? Thanks man...

How do your tires look? But yes, if you lowered the car you need an alignment. Toe really chews up tires so there’s a possibility that’s the problem.

Front tires, the external part looks brand new after 6k miles, but the inner part it’s gone, like bad!! The rear tires same but the inner part not that bad... It might be the front weight because of the engine... I completely messed up.

@@MarceloSilva-wp2hx yeah sounds like a toe issue. How much are you lowered? You may just be able to get an alignment and get it within spec.

I've heard someone mentioned that you can install R8 Audi Coil Packs to our Infiniti Q50s (with throttle body extensions). Supposedly will increase HP from 10-15 HP and improve 3-4 MPG. Have you heard of anyone doing this? Want to see a video on that.
