Thanks so much for this explanation. This is exactly what I have been experiencing for years (over 10 years) on both feet. I have clipped off the calloused area and had relief for an extended period of time. But now I know about the pads, talking with my doctor, and possibly getting x-rays taken. I think I'll try the home remedy first - always wearing shoes inside and out, try the pads also. Thanks again!

OMG, you are the only one who suggested wearing a shoe in the house too, which made sense! Thank you for sharing this information! Your video is great! 👍🏼

This one helped me to cure myself, after suffering for half year:

It is free, the shoes are important but stretching is much more important.

Please give us some good options for shoes for this issue, there's so many out there but maybe a link or two or brand name I struggle with bony feet and ball of foot pain. Have bone sput on top of big toe (had bunionectomy years ago) and my 2nd toe longer than 1st also have overpronation. When I get a shoe that helps for one thing there's still something else that bothers me. Need shoe with soft cushioning and wide toebox. Also some arch support for sure!

I have bunion surgery on my left foot Nov 14,2013. Since then lost all the fat pad on that foot. Middle toe bone very low and poking out bottom of foot. How can I relive it? If I could get the fat pad on my foot replaced would that help it not to hurt?

wait six weeks before consulting a doctor. That seems crazy. I'm on day five and I'm going crazy with pain. I need to work.

I still have pain ball of foot that had a cheilectomy with implant. I am now 2 years post op and pain on the bottom of my foot. Sports causes iit to really hurt, and walking causes slight pain with every step.. I wear custom orthotics, and have tried metatarsal pads with no help. Suggestions?

    • @usespanner1

@Cédric V. Nope!!! I was thinking about surgery, and now all of my pain has gone without operation or spending any money. Do not be craazy! Just do this stretching for 5 days.
2 times a week 2x5 minutes and in my case all terrible pain has gone.

Ya know, this is reminiscent of plantar fasciitis, which I also had. ; ( A key connector to both of these is walking barefoot often and for me, it was relative to the flooring in the house I was in. On a slab? Forget it. (got the plantar and my sis had it too; her house). I am now in what would be considered a raised foundation but after a few weeks here, I get this metatarsalgia. I agree it is from being barefoot more than not but c'mon, the natives walked around with nary a shoe, or basically skin, and they seemed fine. It probably also connects to a magnesium/calcium deficiency. Make sure you take those in the proper ratio. Cal/Mag 2:1. Nature's Sunshine.

Special shoes or pads and surgery? You're only fighting the symptoms. What about special exercises for the foot? But then of course nobody makes money out of exercises, right?
