Thanks for this great video. Barry's estate looks absolutely gigantic! I'm glad he's enjoying his tremendous success.
Glad you liked it, even just walking from one section to another has to be a workout! lol Great user name BTW!
@@TracesofHollywood I can only imagine - especially in the desert heat. And, thanks! - Garbo is my ultimate, along with Lana Turner.
Been a huge fan of Barry for 50 years, and I also love Palm Springs and mid-century modern architecture...THANK YOU for this great video!
Nice! I love that and it's almost like I made this video just for you! There's an Albert Frey video on my channel you might like as well. Thanks for stopping by!
I'd want all that privacy too, thanks for all the great memories Barry!
Sure, keeps the riff raff away that he voted for!
Very interesting. I really enjoy your narration.
@@SuperBoomtown I appreciate the kind words, thank you!
Wow. That place is huge and must cost a fortune to maintain. No wonder he has to keep working.
Great video! I really enjoyed it! You do aewsome job making them.
Thanks much my friend, I really love making them!
@@TracesofHollywood your welcome. I really enjoy them.
Thanku for the video good work
@@andywright3450 You’re so welcome! Thanks for checking it out!
The first Manilow house is actually in Little Tuscany, not Old Las Palmas.
@@MrRacket991 I see that now on the maps, thank you for this!
Great video, the great Huell Howser use to hang at Jenson also, not sure the same store but he was a Palm Springs legend also.
I'm planning to do a Huell video, he was a neighbor of mine in LA when he lived at The El Royale. I also love that you said "the great" because he was THE BEST, and while there will never be another like him tho I think @adamthewoo carries on his tradition here on UA-cam. I bet it was this Jensen's since he visited the Morten Botanical Garden weekly and it's just up the street (a few blocks from Barry's house too).
Thanks for the video princess.
@@coolmoodee 🤣🤣🤣 My pleasure!
Wow He's still going that's rather Impressive 😢
@@briansmythe3000 His tour schedule is pretty intense. I can’t believe it, I’d be worn out after a week. Lol
Thank you so much for this. Great work! 😘🥰
@@JacquelineLeubin So glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to make.
@@TracesofHollywood 🥰😘
This is the largest estate I've visited in Palm Springs!
@TracesofHollywood yes, it is large. That would be cool to see how it's laid out inside.
Can you imagine the mountain lions at night 🐆maybe day too😳
We just had a large bobcat walk across the back patio in the middle of the afternoon a few days ago!
@@TracesofHollywoodso I guess Barry can never sit outside and relax when not touring. I wouldn’t 😳
@@michaelburton1924 Even when I lived in Hollywood I’d be walking my dog in the evening and see a pack of 3 coyotes ahead on the street. California is pretty wild even in the heart of the city so you definitely get even more wildlife here in PS!
8:45 Is that Barry I see swimming naked with Elton John?
@@johna.4334 🤣🤣
i want to see jay lenos home
@@hollisconant2566 You should look up the huge one he bought in Rhode Island! It’s insane.
@@hollisconant2566 Here’s the video I saw and found the story entertaining: ua-cam.com/video/INPb-kBVUCo/v-deo.htmlsi=NaHyobh72CP9hgKX
He also had a home in Bel Air in the 80's, where he build his glass house studio..
@@JacquelineLeubin I’ll have to check that one out when I’m in LA next, I know he had the one in Malibu but not Bel Air. Thanks!
@@TracesofHollywood The one in Malibu was just a weekend or holliday house, but he lived in Bel Air and had his dream studio built there. I wonder what happened to that building.
@@JacquelineLeubin I’ll drive by and see next time I’m there!
Didn't Barry have carpet on the walls of the Kaufman house? When I met Albert in the 90's he pronounced his last name Fry.
@@sharksport01 That sounds so 70’s I wouldn’t doubt it! Thanks for the name correction! I say it that way because it’s the only way I’ve heard it pronounced here in town and even by a friend who owns a Frey property, but I’m guessing they never met him.
Why didn’t you use a drone?
@@123Rockchild It’s a private residence where the celebrity still lives so I don’t show anything you can’t see from the public road and walkways to respect their privacy/security. I did try to find a road in the hills above where I could see more but there are none that are vehicle accessible.
so there is no tour of his house like you said we would get
@hollisconant2566 A celebrity home tour in Hollywood or Beverly Hills won't walk you through the front door. These are similar driving/walking tours I do to share with people who can't come see for themselves. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it.
There are some interiors in the Albert Frey video, and an upcoming video has a room Marilyn Monroe stayed in so maybe you will enjoy those more. I have a couple celebrity friends but they are not interested in having their homes filmed.
WHERE IS MANDY???? 🤣
@@bobrowland7086 Ok that’s pretty funny. Lol
Family lived in this house and sold it to Menalo
Do you mean some of your relatives lived here?
@@TracesofHollywood y
Yes,my brother. I stayed here almost every weekend.
@@michelebutin1798 What wonderful memories you must have of such a beautiful place!
@@TracesofHollywood Many!
How about showing the inside
@@michelebutin1798 If it’s the current residence of a celebrity I prefer not to show interior layouts for privacy and security reasons unless I can find an architectural digest tour or similar they gave themselves.
Sorry, Palm Springs looks like it was bombed last week and no one has noticed. What a dump.
He looks too dead to be buried.
LOL!
