The most detailed tutorial on dynamic MU so far! It looks easy you would think especially you already knew how to do the non kipping MU but it is not. Thank You for sharing!
Love it.. i am starting from the exact same position. I can already do consecutive muscle ups but cant do one dynamic one. Tried it today for the first time but had the same problems you had at the start.. cant wait to practice and get this down.. looks like a lot of fun
what I notice that in begining when he raised is legs higher he went higher and he was able to do it, but in the end he didn't even need to go as high with the legs to do the Dynamic Muscle Up and I am guessing because he was able to get more momentum , I think what I will do I will work on getting my legs higher once I get my Dynamic Muscle Up a few times I will shift to use more momentum and less going with the legs as high
hi bro great video , do I need to sqing backward very fast ? also after u pushing yourself backward do you need to kick down or not that important thanks
Hi, thanks! Regarding your question, no you need to raise your legs to the bar really fast. That’s more important. You can kick down but you don’t really need to. When you raise your legs up while keeping your arms straight und using the momentum you will automatically go up.
How many pull up you recommend us as the requirement before trying the dynamic muscle up. I am able to do 8 strict pull up, and I have no idea if I am ready yet.
I think 8 are plenty given that dynamic muscle-ups require much less pulling strength than strict muscle-ups. Just try it, grip the bar tightly (some people underestimate the grip strength needed) and see where your weaknesses are. Getting the legs up might be hard, both for the core and regarding hamstring flexibility.

Handstand! 😏
Great video, you should learn the handstand or handstand pushup, those are one of the best push exercises
Thanks! Both are on my list and maybe I’ll do them next. Stay tuned!
