Today, we are doing a kundalini meditation for heartbreak. In this heart meridian meditation healing we're taking the Kundalini yoga approach which of course is dealing with subtle body energy. We'll be working with this specific mudra - palms together, Saturn finger so your long middle finger in-line with your third eye and your forearms parallel to the floor so we will be holding this position for the whole meditation.
Meditation for a broken heart. If you're going through a break-up, loss, heartache, anger or are struggling with personal or familial sadness, this 20-minute guided meditation will help you break down these emotions and cultivate softness in your body.
Now if you have never done kundalini yoga before or you want a more traditional guided meditation, I have another meditation here on UA-cam for recovering from heartbreak especially a bad breakup so be sure to check that one out as well.

I have been using this meditation for the past three years. It has brought me a deep sense of peace and hope through a divorce, cancer, the lockdown, etc. I really like Brett's clear and calm instruction and encouragement. I just want to say thank you for taking the effort to post this video and share it with us. Grateful❤

Thanks Brett! It was powerful! It helped me shift and look inwardly to some of my challenging relationships with others right now, to let go of the grievances and pain caused. Each day there can be people who trigger us, challenge us, and frustrated us if we allow it. Sometimes we hold the experiences inside of our bodies and through your meditation/kundalini yoga I was able to look inwardly at what parts of my body were effected by these experiences and let them go softly...most of them were in parts of my body that had discomfort like my jaw, my heart, my kidneys, and my left foot. At the end I felt the heaviness leaving, ease, lots of gratitude, clarity of mind and love come to me. I felt my alignment back and my energy centers cleared and a flow of good thoughts, enlighment, plans for the day even heavenly inspiration to review my priority list of to do's for today and do my best! Incredible! Thank you for serving us! ❤💚💜 Namaste my friend!

Sat nam 📿 I just got divorced 3 months ago and although it’s what I wanted because he was an abusive man, I am now grieving a life I thought I’d have. I was recommended this Kriya by a seasoned kundalini yogi yesterday and I’m on day 2. Thank you for the guidance, Brett. Looking forward to healing.

Thank you for the beautiful meditation. I found myself crying and my heart aching. I had trouble visualizing my pain turning into something beautiful, but I did feel an unlocking of the pain and release from self-blame and self-degradation of some of the relationships in my life and a letting go of how they made me feel. I realized that I often make myself small in order to let the men in my life feel powerful... as if they can’t handle a strong, confident woman. Maybe they can’t, but my work is not to change that, but instead to let myself soar and proudly wear my crown and to block that energy from seeping into my own.

This was amazing, and so so very powerful. I was sobbing through the part where we transformed our pain into something beautiful, where my black ashes turned into a beautiful black horse galloping across the fields. I felt such a lightness in my heart after this. Thank you so much

My heartbreak is trying to let go of my abusive dad and his toxic love. I've had to learn that just because he throws in love sometimes it doesn't cancel out all of the horrible things he did and said to me. It has been a very, very long journey to this point but it still hurts so much. It anyone has any spare love I'd be so grateful if you sent a tiny piece my way. Namaste everyone 💖

My boyfriend’s house used to be only painful memories and emotions in every room. I envisioned breaking through by shattering the glass veil in each room containing all that pain and brilliant white light immediately appeared beneath the glass, filling the entire room. Suddenly, I have so much perspective and know exactly what to do! I cannot thank you enough, Brett! I deeply appreciate what you do for us.

Although I physically could not do most of the required physical yogu position due to numerous deformities I did make attempts in even though some was not achievable. I still was able to see clearly with third eye something moving swiftly over the Rocky ground at dusk. Suddenly I watched the sky change, I began to see a form of a shaddow cause daylight broken at which point it was running through a field of wheat pausing along the way until it ran to the creek bank with tall trees, green grass and sound of water flowing over the rocks. It was a stream of flowing water filled with minnows swimming and fish jumping up through the water, it paused to watch the fish ... It suddenly began to run again, I could only that it was very tiny and fuzzy hair on its back was brown it ran to an opening over a long rock bed, up a hill side into a grassy field near along the edge of the cliff side. Evening began to fall, it ran back into the edge of the woods at which point the entire shape broke through it had transformed into a large rabbit. Then quickly ran down it's rabbit hole cause night time had fallen. It has been a long time since I had been open to literally to see so clearly feeling, hearing every sound, smelling surroundings... Transformation is part of growth in everything. All changes welcome in new beginnings like Dusk to Dawn cycles a new day always striving to move forward regardless of the terrains we across over... Always stop to reflect; pause to replenish and nourish mind, body, and spirit before moving towards complete healing, growth, and transformation (forgiveness and letting go of all past hurts you've caused and you endured.

    Hello, Brett.
Thank you so much for your material, I am trying it as often as I can and hope to see some improvement in the future.
One thing I would like to ask: you mention, both in this and the other, more traditional, heartbreak meditation, about connecting to other yogis who have experienced heartbreak. I realise that one thing that causes suffering in heartbreak is the loss of connection and I suppose you want to counter that by establishing the connection you talk about. The thing is, this is a very alien feeling for me at the moment and is discouraging from following the practice. I do not know if I am alone in that one, but I wanted to ask if there is a way to focus more inward, at least in the initial stages of heartbreak, and look for some peace within ourselves, before expanding outwards to connect with other yogis, as you mention.
Thank you for your time. Be well,
    Love and light.

    • @BrettLarkinYoga
      @BrettLarkinYoga  5 років тому +1

Absolutely, if it feels best for you to focus inward for now please do so! Sending you hugs💖💖💖

@@BrettLarkinYoga Thank you so much for your reply! I was so pleasantly surprised :)
This gives me the courage to ask you one more question; it would be extremely helpful to me if you had an answer...
I have been having an extremely rough time after the end of the relationship. A lot of bitterness and a loss of self and purpose - I was so much more invested and dependant than I thought or let out. Would there be a practice you can suggest to help with these feelings? The loneliness is unbearable... Jealousy arises as well. I follow this meditation every day. It has been a month and a half now and I am still suffering, always out of energy.
Thank you in advance. Your reply would mean a lot.
