I love(slash hate) listening to the Anders Varric banner. This is where you see the most of character development outside of the main plot. At the beginning, Anders and Varric throw jokes back and forth and have a good time, but later on, in the 3rd Act, Anders is moody and no longer in the mood for jokes. It makes me very sad to watch, seeing how Anders tears his relationships apart for his Vengeance and plans, which automatically makes me love it.
Yeah. People complain that Anders is unrelatable, but if you look into it, you can see how he develops. Its a sad story. I really did like him before he blew the Chantry up, and even then still couldn't hate him
lycan2500 1 honestly I agree he had great character development but I think the devs were trying to make u dislike or hate Anders in the end, I say it worked.
I think I liked Anders best when he was still in DA: Awakening, before he allowed a spirit to occupy within him. There he was still jovial, happy, and his own self back then. When he allowed a spirit to change him and then blow up the Kirkwall Chantry, he lost all good faith and hope from me. What he did only served to further prove the point as to why people had good reasons to fear Mages and why the Templar Order was so very much needed to keep them in check. He committed a vile act of terrorism in order to make his beliefs known and start a war, just so he could further fuel his Vengeance. As the old saying goes though, *_“Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.”_* So as his old friend, I had to be the one to personally make sure that Anders would be held accountable for his actions and would be unable to cause anymore harm to others over his violent beliefs. Before the true spirit of _Justice_ was tainted into becoming _Vengeance_ within Anders, I think it also would have certainly called for Anders’ execution for doing that as well. Part of me actually wanted to overlook his horrible crime and just give him a slap on the wrist because he was a friend, but he made his choice to become a violent extremist. So as much as it pained me, his death needed to be done.
OMG. I am amazed to hear that there is dialogue between Anders and Fenris if you romance Fenris initially then switch to Anders after he leaves you. And the fact that all Fenris has to say is "take care of Hawke." I'm totally not crying over here.
I couldn't agree more. During the Act3 quest where if you're in a relationship with Fenris you get a cutscene where Anders is like 'He lets one bad experience colour his whole world. Wouldn't you rather be with some a bit more open-minded?' And before Fenris even spoke up I started laughing and half-shouted at the screen 'Pot meet Kettle'.
The Phantom of the Paradise my theory is they hate each other so much not because of what they are but because of their experiences. They remind each other too much of themselves and they don't like what they see so they take it out on each other with passive aggressive banter and insults instead of using a more healthier way of coping by talking about their experiences in more detail with each other. If you have the Legacy dlc and bring Fenris, Anders, and Varric....then this conversation happens: Anders: When I left the Wardens, I swore I'd never spend another minute in the Deep Roads. I:"You know, when you stick your hand into people" F:"Oh...that. Yes...It's, uh, talent." I: "You could make SO much coin with that" SO DIRTY OMG BIOWARE xDDD
I didnt like the change. Anders is such a clown, as Alistair, but with different perspectives, as one was a templar and one is a mage. Though, Anders in Awakening and the in start of DA2 seems to be a nice guy, and Justice in Awakening seems to be a nice guy too, fighting to help those people trapped in the fade by the witch. I think the group that made DA2 didnt even played the firsts games nor read the story.
gbc07 Cue the extremely long counterargument in 3...2...1...... If they hadn't, then there would have been a LOT more inconsistencies with the plot than there are now (what inconsistencies there are currently exist only due to glitches, save for Leliana's reappearance even if you killed her, which was intentional for some reason). As it is, there are so many fun cameos and references to the previous game and all of the possible branches of outcomes that it's amusing. They include everything from important details, like what origin the Warden had and how the party reacts to that knowledge, to the most inconsequential and completely story-irrelevant topics, even indirectly breaking the fourth wall at one point to openly acknowledge the vast changes in certain character designs from Origins to 2 (case-in point; bringing Isabela to meet Alistair when it's possible, and Alistair comments on how different Isabela looks, to which she replies "Don't we all?" with what looked suspiciously to me like a brief glance at the camera when I played). The point being that everything they did was intentional. Anders in Awakening was immature and irresponsible. This made him a charming and fun character to the player, yes, but it was intentionally setting him up for his role in DA2. It's not like any of the other party members back then made any effort to hide their opinions on this matter either; Justice made it clear that he disagreed with the actions taken against mages, as well as with Anders' inaction against these perceived crimes. Heck, even Nathaniel, Sigrun, Oghren and Velanna disliked Anders to differing extents because of his personality; it was never intended to be permanent. You say you think they didn't pay attention to how Anders and Justice behaved in Awakening. It's actually the opposite; how they behaved in Awakening was setting them up for the role they would play in DA2. Because contrary to what many people think, Bioware doesn't just make everything up as they go. They make up SOME things, yes, but sometimes we all have to improvise to compensate for oversights. Anders and Justice was not an oversight. The sad fact of the matter is that both Anders and Justice wanted to do something right, to help people, but very often good intentions have bad outcomes. It wasn't an error on the part of the developers; Anders ALWAYS hated the templars and how they treated mages, he never hid it very well, and that simmering hatred was what corrupted Justice. Besides, Anders WAS rather jolly early in the game, because he was trying not to let Justice control him. Are you saying that you wouldn't also be depressed if your body was taken over by a spirit that YOU allowed into your body in the first place, then brutally killed/almost killed the very thing you swore your life to defend because you can't control your own compulsions?
Rayquaoxys3846 Well, Bioware says that spirit corrupts humans, not that humans with hate corrupts spirits. So, if this is right, you have a point, if not, bioware made a mistake. Yes, Isabella is different, everyone seems, but I dont know how a spirit with thousands year old was immature then grow up in just a year. Also, the team that made Dragon Age 2 was different, so, everything was.
gbc07 A lot of people bring up that argument...I think it's partially due to how much of these topics are brought up in party banter that some players never come across. Bioware says that it's KNOWN that spirits can corrupt humans. In other words, they confirmed what is said in the game's known lore, i.e. what you can find in Codex entrees and such. But one of the best parts about having such unique companions is that you can learn new things by simply listening to them. In the game, it's made quite clear that the world's knowledge of spirits is limited almost exclusively to demons; most people know little to nothing about spirits, or that there is even such a thing as a 'good' spirit. Wynne first brought up the topic, and Justice was the first one to be formally met. What Justice says in one of his dialogues with Anders in Awakening, when it is suggested that it is POSSIBLE for a good spirit to be corrupted into a demon by falling prey to its emotions and desires, was meant to be one of the setups for this whole issue. Anders didn't know what would happen. Heck, even Justice didn't know. My point is that it was never said that a spirit can be corrupted because it wasn't known in the game's own lore at the time. Seriously, you think Bioware would come out after Origins and announce "Oh everyone, by the way, fun fact, it's actually possible for a good spirit to be corrupted as well,"? That would have basically been a massive spoiler for what was to come, because gaming companies don't just hand out information like that; they only confirm it after the fact, when people are confused. And another thing about Justice; you're right, someone with thousands of years of experience shouldn't be able to change their own views in such a short time. But by Justice's own admission, in his entire time existing in the Fade, he was living under a misconception of what the mortal world was like. Most good spirits in the Fade pity mortals, the same way we might pity a starving dog living off of food scraps in a dark alleyway that growls at anything that gets too close. Justice was one of these spirits who pitied mortals, until he was forced into a mortal (albeit dead) body and experienced the mortal world for himself. He had no experience with mortals before that point; in a way, Justice was like a child being born into the world (just one that could register the things going on around him and speak and talk and form opinions and decapitate people). In the space of a month or two, he had all of his prior conceptions about the mortal world torn apart and built anew. His compulsion toward justice remained, but now he had new knowledge to apply that compulsion towards. Finally, I agree that the game was vastly different from its predecessor, but I equate that more towards the combat style and the storytelling mechanics rather than toward the story itself. There is a difference, I think.
Poor Dorian would be walking on eggshells the whole time. And he'd have to put up with Fenris accusing him of using blood magic, while being too guarded about his personal life to tell him why that's really hurtful to him.
Date Masamune In DAI I created a Fenris-looking Inquisitor and put him in a relationship with Dorian for shits and giggles. One of my favourite playthroughs.
I found the banter between Fenris and Anders quite... interesting. One time I was looking for resources on the Wounded Coast and it was dead silent when Anders is suddenly like 'Did you ever think about killing yourself?' I just stood there staring at the Elfroot listening to this conversation and thinking 'Well that escalated quickly...' XD
Bethany and Sebastian are weird since the only way for it to work is you need the Sebastien DLC and then you need the other 2 DLC so I would call it the pay us money group.
Hot damn, Anders' character development from Act 1&2 to Act 3 is simultaneously fantastic in its execution, and almost horrifying to actually see it happen.
(If Hawke spent the night with Fenris) Anders: I can't imagine what Hawke sees in you. Fenris: It is done. Leave it be. Anders: Well, good. I always knew she/he had some sense. Fenris: Do not make light of this. Leaving was the hardest thing I've ever done. (If Isabela is in the party) Isabela: Oh, will you two get over yourselves? You're like two dogs around a bitch in heat. Fenris: We were talking about Hawke. Not you. (If Isabela is in the party and you slept with her as well) Isabela: Oh, will you two get over yourselves? I did her/him too.
I normally loathe Carver, but he is right in one thing. "I don't hate you because you're a mage, I hate you because you won't shut up about it." And one year later I realize I actually liked Carver. I must have the patience of the heavenly Buddha
+greatlegedema09 Fenris is more detailed about it in a way that makes Anders respond like a dounceberry. Carver just calls him annoying, and Anders' self-rightious nonsense just falls to pieces. I say this as a supporter of mages under most cirumstances.
This is why I love Bioware and Dragon Age in particular: the characters. They create this fully realized world and make people that feel like genuine, nuanced, products of whatever environment birthed them. To the point that you could just see them shoot the shit like this, and it's an enjoyable experience.
Everyone's talking about Dorian and Fenris needing to meet, but I find the thought of Isabela and Sera meeting a lot more entertaining. Think of the mayhem.
Not sure the heck why they need to meet. Dorian is too privileged and blind to trivial suffering of low class people, since he sees slavery as an ok thing because apparently paying a servant and not paying a slave is the same demn thing for him as long as a slave being taking care of. I like Dorian but his comments about certain things like slavey and assassins remind you too well he's a noble first and foremost. A noble and a mage, from Tevinter, Fenris would f*cking hate his guts.
"Dwarves don't frolic" "Dalish don't frolic either... not in the woods anyway." "You sanctioned frolicking areas?" "No, just not in the woods. The trees get jealous." "But you do frolic." "Of course we do, we wouldn't be elves otherwise."
Its funny that to Anders Isabela likes to debate him about the mages, tell him she has no opinion and tease him...but to Fenris she admits she actually DOES care for the mages plight
12:48 "Let's say you do eventually free the mages. But to do it, you kill a bunch of innocent people. Don't they then deserve justice?" "Yes." The tone says all you need to know.
@@nananderson7259 That's true, he even says that he was sure that Hawke would kill him, if romanced. Before the final battle, he actually tells Hawke that he should've trusted him and i was like uuUUUGGHH. Carver: Shove your plight! Carver: I don't hate you because you're a mage, I hate you because you wont shut up about it! (Anders) LMAO, I wish carver was in Inquisition
"Why would I do that?" "Reminds me of a woman in the alienage, skinny, pointed, and always throwing things at people." That probably one of my favorite banters.
@@magicrainbowkitties1023 not really. Merrill has interest in learning more of the past. The Dalish are only interested in preserving their traditions from Halamshiral.
LMFAO OKAY BUT I JUST HEARD THIS (Isabela to Anders/Fenris): Oh will you two get over yourselves! You're like two dogs near a bitching heat. Fenris: We were talking about Hawke, not you. Isabela: I did him too! LMFAO IM YELLING, THEN ANDERS OUT OF NOWHERE NEXT "Did you ever think about killing yourself?" "I could ask you the same." GOD THIS BANTER
Am I the only one who wished Hawke was more involved in the party banter? I like that with every protagonist. When they get into a conversation with people the same way the NPC's do, they feel more like they blend in. And can I just say I love Aveline and Isabela's party banter? I'm still not sure but I assume they're very good friends XD
The characters in Dragon Age 2 are brilliant. They are the real reason I keep replaying. You can't stay neutral about any of them (maybe Sebastian, but whatever); you either hate them or you love them, and that is really hard to do when developing a character. My favorite Bioware romance to this day is still Fenris
Wow, Sebastian talking about turning in Anders and Merill. While talking with Fenris, I can imagine Fenris thinking, "You're insane, Hawke will obliterate you if you try messing with friends/loved ones."
I find it ironic how Merrill and Anders both understand the differences between spirits and demons better than the other in different ways. Merrill understands that there is nearly no difference between spirits and demons when you really look at it, but Anders understands a bit better where that difference lies. Merrill trusts demons too readily, and Anders trusts spirits too readily.
Umm no. They both dont understand sh*t. Merrill literally has one line of dialogue that is on point and thats it. Anders is too wraped up in Chatry's false teachings to know anything about them really. The only line that is relevant is his own experience about being posessed and dragged around with no will of his own at times. Solas is the only character in a series so far that knows what he's talking about regarding spirits.
@@vermilion6966 And he's kind of cheating, between the "ancient elf" thing and the "I created the veil" thing and possibly "I might have been a Pride spirit who turned into an elf" (between his name meaning "pride" and fen-harel having 6 eyes like pride demons)
I've always listened to all the Dragon age banters while working on my computer. I'm glad that it's all in one video now! Saves time and seems more convenient. Thanks!
When Isabela talks about how manly Varric is, it makes it even funnier when you remember the entirety of DA 2 is actually Varric telling Cassandra the story of Hawke. So he's essentially taking time during his retelling of the story to hype himself in front of Cassandra via potentially made up words from Isabella.
holy shit! the friend fiction banter was priceless! Isabela should have made them for everyone. specially for hawke's romances. i would have loved to hear a friend fiction banter for my female hawke with fenris.
There aren't really any good romance options for straight male Hawke. Isabela is very... outgoing and uh, contagious. Merrill is a blood mage whose main hobby is consorting with a fade demon. Aveline is unavailable and Bethany is Hawke's sister. Come to think of it, female Hawkes don't have better options either; you can go for the glow-in-the-dark terrorist, or the glow-in-the-dark elf. It sucks to be the Champion. Your sibling dies, another taken (or dies), your mom gets turned into a zombie (then dies), and every time you root out a gang, another rises in its place. You finally took care of the Quinari invasion and out comes the mage civil war. Should have moved back to Lothering by Act 2. All you have to deal with there is old Barlin's traps.
@@marcoboscarol2420 that people are too f*cking stupid for oversimplifying everything as "its da demon's fault". Theres about approx 100 and 1 reason for Anders of all characters to get more and more pissed by the end of act 3 as the city, the underground and everything around crumbles and almost all hope is lost, but nooop, its all justice's fault.

"No magister would turn down an advantage over his rivals." lol, tell that to Dorian. Fenris must have known only the magisters in Denarius's social circle aka the assholes of Tevinter.
Raksha Daemon I would assume that Fenris only knew them. He was Denarius' prize possession and it's not like he let Fenris wander around by himself. Then again, most of them in Tevinter do (I assume) because even Fenris' sister wanted to go down that path.
Anders: You've got a real chip on your shoulder, you know? Carver: I've got a big sword on my shoulder, Magey Anders: Hm, wonder what you're compensating for? Holy shit, Carver just got fucking DESTROYED
I played DA2 twice and yet, after finishing this game, I really miss the companions and Hawke y'all... It might sound weird, but these characters and DA2 left a huge impact on me. Whenever I played it, it felt like homecoming. Thank you for this video pal 💕
51:39 - Awww, I love Bethany's little laugh there, she is adorable, that little giggle is so sweet, somehow as a favorite by all, her little laugh just makes Bethany all the more sweeter I think.
I figured there would be tension between Anders and Fenris, but this? This is scary. On a side note: I plan to be a female mage that flirts with Fenris and keeps her brother close, but I cannot figure out a third that works with Carver and Fenris. Anyone have a good suggestion? Would anyone else be interested to hear a conversation between Fenris and Dorian?
+LPer Panda oh sweet maker id love that, plz bioware plz! i mean we HAVE to see Dorian in the next game because of the ending in trespasser, idk, and they MUST bring back fenris! maker i really would love that
+Carlisle the Cinephile Also the twins interacting before any of them die
Fenris and solas please lol
I think that would be something interesting..... Fenris and Dorian as party members in the next game is definitely something I would love to see.
trespasser spoilers
indeed. i also i wonder which of our former elven companions that will join with solas in the coming game. abelas is quite obvious, but the others... i wonder.
Varrick is so Parental towards Merrill! Its so adorable! And the way he pays off people to protect his friends! Omg so cute!
Abbie Sulik merril is so naively cute
"And that "Nothing" is costing me a fortune! "
OH. MY. GOD. I've never had Isabela and Fenris in my party at the same time and I'm DYING at that first one hahahaha
I: "So what's with that magical fisting thing you do?
F:"Um...sorry?"
I:"You know, when you stick your hand into people"
F:"Oh...that. Yes...It's, uh, talent."
I: "You could make SO much coin with that"
SO DIRTY OMG BIOWARE xDDD
i got them in party 1 time and got that banter, chuckle to myself: dirty girl, isabela (and she is the first companion that i bone)
Ecksdee
I love that Isabella and Merrill are never catty. They have love and respect for each other no matter what and that is goals.
It's sad to see how Justice's influence makes Anders go downhill in his banter with Varric the closer to Act 3 you get... :(
i welcome the change, dont need 2 alistairs, although i'd love to hear the banter between alistair and anders (from awakening)
Rayquaoxys3846
Well, Bioware says that spirit corrupts humans, not that humans with hate corrupts spirits.
Fenris needs to meet Dorian one day.
Date Masamune big wish...i already see Dorian ( Tevinter+mage+close proximity) sliced by Fenris. :P
Amen bro.
Date Masamune I can see Dorian hiding behind the Inquisitor now as Varric explains to Fenris that this isn't like the whole Anders thing, promise.
To have the Brood team have Carver Fenris and Anders. to have the comedy team have Varric Isabella and Aveline
lol
I found the banter between Fenris and Anders quite... interesting. One time I was looking for resources on the Wounded Coast and it was dead silent when Anders is suddenly like 'Did you ever think about killing yourself?' I just stood there staring at the Elfroot listening to this conversation and thinking 'Well that escalated quickly...' XD
B. Oliveira I have to agree with you on that. I would save Bethany, every time. I didn't really like Carver. Lol
What does that make Bethany and Sebastian?
Bethany and Sebastian are weird since the only way for it to work is you need the Sebastien DLC and then you need the other 2 DLC so I would call it the pay us money group.
Hot damn, Anders' character development from Act 1&2 to Act 3 is simultaneously fantastic in its execution, and almost horrifying to actually see it happen.
1:15 Anders and Varric's lighthearted discussion makes 3:20's exchange downright heartbreaking.
Varric and Isabela with the friend-fiction tho. Best.
That was one of the best banters!
"We were talking about Hawke. Not you."
GOD this sass monster.
When that happend?
(If Hawke spent the night with Fenris)
Anders: I can't imagine what Hawke sees in you.
Fenris: It is done. Leave it be.
Anders: Well, good. I always knew she/he had some sense.
Fenris: Do not make light of this. Leaving was the hardest thing I've ever done.
(If Isabela is in the party)
Isabela: Oh, will you two get over yourselves? You're like two dogs around a bitch in heat.
Fenris: We were talking about Hawke. Not you.
(If Isabela is in the party and you slept with her as well)
Isabela: Oh, will you two get over yourselves? I did her/him too.
Reisaz Reiz Thanks
Happens at 5:41
Don't forget "I did hom too"
"You want me to smolder and be cold at the same time? Those things don't go together." "Shush, don't distract me with your logic." XD
Without fail, I always lose my mind at "No shit, there I was-". Like, there's something about the way she says it, it's too good.
I normally loathe Carver, but he is right in one thing.
"I don't hate you because you're a mage, I hate you because you won't shut up about it."
And one year later I realize I actually liked Carver. I must have the patience of the heavenly Buddha
spikegilfer1997 Basically what everyone else thinks. XD
LukaBlight69 I was practically begging anyone to call him out on it and I was like "woah! Carver .....Carver called someone annoying"
Matt Allen Carver wins some redemption points here
+spikegilfer1997 Yeah, but doesn't Fenris do the exact same thing?
+greatlegedema09
Fenris is more detailed about it in a way that makes Anders respond like a dounceberry.
I love how you can tell what Act it is by Anders and Varric's party banter. That's some fantastic writing.
Everyone's talking about Dorian and Fenris needing to meet, but I find the thought of Isabela and Sera meeting a lot more entertaining. Think of the mayhem.
Cairrean horrifying!! but itd be hilarious
MAYHEM!!!!
MAAAAAAAAAAAYHEEEEEEEEEEM
MAAAAAYHEEEEEEEM!
"Dwarves don't frolic"
"Dalish don't frolic either... not in the woods anyway."
"You sanctioned frolicking areas?"
"No, just not in the woods. The trees get jealous."
"But you do frolic."
"Of course we do, we wouldn't be elves otherwise."
Anders and Fenris, now now boys, play nice with each other.
If we're lucky, they'll beat each other to death.
Lol, I bet there's just this one guy in bioware that just got told to create the dirtiest lines for Isabella xD
Glistening....
Its funny that to Anders Isabela likes to debate him about the mages, tell him she has no opinion and tease him...but to Fenris she admits she actually DOES care for the mages plight
Most conversations between Merrill and Isabela are so cute tbh
God I love Merril. She's to damn cute.
Cute and naive
MoonThorne239 agreed. I romanced her in my first play through
Fenris and Isabella are surprisingly friendly with each other
Indeed - they hook up if you don't romance either of them. :) Isabela is totally into Fenris, no doubt!
germankiwigal too bad i will never make that happen, Fenris is mine xD
+germankiwigal They do?!
TheEndsongAbyssXV Yeah and theres no way im gonna let that happen! RAWR XD
+TheEndsongAbyssXV it's sort of unbearable when you've romanced fenris before
12:48
"Let's say you do eventually free the mages. But to do it, you kill a bunch of innocent people. Don't they then deserve justice?"
"Yes."
The tone says all you need to know.
This was as foreshadow-y as foreshadowing gets.
This.
That gutted me. I really believe he expected Hawke, romanced or not, to kill him.
@@nananderson7259 That's true, he even says that he was sure that Hawke would kill him, if romanced. Before the final battle, he actually tells Hawke that he should've trusted him and i was like uuUUUGGHH. Why wasn't there an option to actually support him, my aggressive mage Hawke would totally xD
(At least they ran away together
Carver: Shove your plight!
Carver: I don't hate you because you're a mage, I hate you because you wont shut up about it! (Anders)
LMAO, I wish carver was in Inquisition
Anders and Fenris fighting over Hawke is amazing
"Arl your Eamon" and "Shank your Jory" killed me.
How does she _know_ about that? Was that public knowledge in Thedas?
Missed opportunity with Abominations don't go "Grr. Arrg" for Fenris to respond "No they go mages should be free.'"
"I disavow all knowledge of gambling occurring in my household"
Gotta remember that one ;)
varric rlly does spend his whole life diffusing tension... this poor man
finn ! He went from being a professional younger brother to den mother.
Officially going insane. Accidentally read this as "Party Age: Dragon banter 2"
Sounds like a sequel to a party organizing game like american pie but in medieval times
"Why would I do that?"
"Reminds me of a woman in the alienage, skinny, pointed, and always throwing things at people."
That probably one of my favorite banters.
Anders and Fenris bickering back and forth over Hawke while Hawke is 2 feet away is always a highlight of my playthroughs
Funny, Merril had it right about demons and spirits. Solas would be proud. Speaking of those two interacting would be interesting.
The problem is she basically represents everything he hates about the Dalish
@@magicrainbowkitties1023 not really. Merrill has interest in learning more of the past. The Dalish are only interested in preserving their traditions from Halamshiral.
Best way to get trashed: Take a drink every time Anders mentions the plight of the mages.
Don't do it! Alcohol poisoning is dangerous!
Actually I had friend do that, he passed out before the end of the first act. Lol
Best way to get alcohol poisoning lolz
Omg i just realized since Varric more or less adopted merril and cole that makes them practical step siblings. I need to see that
What are you doing step Merril?
UGH. Isabela and Merrill's dynamic is simply adorable.
LMFAO OKAY BUT I JUST HEARD THIS
(Isabela to Anders/Fenris): Oh will you two get over yourselves!
Since I romanced Merrill, I'm calling it right now: if we get a Griffon in Inquisition, I'm naming mine Feathers.
Mike Young what about fluffy?
You need to read Last Flight 👀👀👀👀👀👀
This didn't age well, maybe we'll get one in 4
i hate how anders gets angrier and angrier throughout the dialogue. its heart breaking
poncho Poor guy, that spirit wasn’t compatible with Anders. Maybe if it had found another host he would have remained a spirit of Justice.
Bethany: “I used to have a brother” champion: “USED TO?!”
Well it makes sense when I play and hear that...I play as a female Hawke though lolz
I love Varrics relationship with Merril. It's so sweet and wonderful. It's the few relationships in this game that isn't completely toxic.
Varric is awesome. That is all.
He's more than awesome. Probably the chest hair.
His chest hair grants him power
it’s amazing to actually see the transition of act 1 anders to act 3 anders.
More heartbreaking when you remember the Awakening Anders too.
Fenris, Isabela, and Varric were my crew.
+spikegilfer1997 Varric, Isabella and Merrill were mine
+Hanzzo Ezekiel same i was playing mage Hawke though so no warrior/tanks DX
Marco Santos same 😂
Anders, Varric and Isabela
Same
"MAGICAL FISTING"
"WHEN YOU STICK YOUR HAND INTO PEOPLE"
"ITS TALENT"
"You can make so much coin over that talent"
u h m ;^) ????
When I got Sabastian I was not expecting Fenris to get along with him so well.
Fenris in general is my favourite, actually.
Thank you
He's my least favorite, I killed him on all but one of my four playthroughs.
Fair enough, you do you.
GZLAnnihilation The problem is... I keep coming back. You can't get rid of me
Fenris
I hope it hurts every time Kenny.
Fenris:
Anders: “DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT KILLING YOURSELF?”
ARL YOUR EAMON
I love the Isabela and Merrill conversations, they're adorable lol
I love how she calls her kitten
Isabela: So what's with that magical fisting thing you do?
Fenris: *UMMMMMMMMMMMMM*
Their banter always shows some awesome relationships...I love how Isabela&Aveline speak to Merrill like sweet mothers ^.^
Wow, Sebastian talking about turning in Anders and Merill. While talking with Fenris, I can imagine Fenris thinking, "You're insane, Hawke will obliterate you if you try messing with friends/loved ones."
That is what he says actually.
"Mirabelle was taken."
Jade Empire reference by Varric. Hell yeah.
Lothering was razed by the darkspawn.
Radiea ya the hawke family has really shitty luck
Radiea
It was rebuilt by Act 2. Hawke even gets a mail from someone there talking about Barlin's traps.

I love every dialog that involves Fenris. I am obsessed with him.
This is what made this game great.
Dorian's not a magister, though.
+neosaneo2 By the end of Trespasser, oh yes he is.
Raksha Daemon omg imagine a Fenrus and Dorian in a party? It would be incredibly awkward and amazing

The dwarfen Inquisitor is from the cadash clan(Shale's clan)
Lastly, 1:25:57 omfg X3
Varric is always a safe bet. He basically always follows your lead unless you're aimlessly hurting people for fun.
