Best review of this pedal on UA-cam in my opinion! After thorough research and thanks to your video, I just purchased these moving from a single chain DW5000. Super pumped. Thanks for your review!
Thank you so much!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dude, this is the detailed review I was looking for! Subscribed
Thank you ❤️
i got them after using chains for years. They are superb without any adjustment. Just need to see how long they last
I agree with you 100%.
Love your review! Is the beater made out of a softer felt? Or is it just the shape that helps reduce the impact?
These dyna sync beaters looks like the old school beaters but they are good. Why have Tama design a beater like this? Because the stiffness of pedal is so big that this beater helps to reduce it. Does it make sense to you?? Please don't forget to subscribe.
Thank you for the reply! I'm actually just wondering about how hard the felt is on the head of the beater.
I play jazz and the felt on my current beater is so hard that it buzzes when I bury the beater on a tight bass drum, so I'm looking for something softer
@@dylandelehoy1460 you can try Tama TTB30F Traditional Felt Beater or Vic Firth VFVKB3 Beater Fleece
Awesome! Thank you for the advice 🤘
@@dylandelehoy1460 My pleasure!!
Bora!
💪💪💪💪
What's up Francis ! Do you use the exact same spring tension on both pedals ?
Correct!! The idea is to develop twin feet. There are educators who say that we must have a strong foot and a guiding foot, I don't agree with that. I use same tension and same settings on both sides.
@@francisfernandezcappola Thanks alot ! I've seen other tricks to balance my double pedal like pulling the beaters back or pushing the beaters forward and then watch if they stop at the same time and go at the same speed, but I can clearly feel that my left pedal is way too tight and the right one doesnt have a quick enough pull back when I try it. What do you think about that trick ?
@@jcgosselin3713 all you need is to work hard everyday to develop both feet.
Usas pedalera Dyna Sync Para zurdos verdad?... Gracias!
I realized that direct drive pedals are much better than chain pedals, so for sure i will choose Dyna Sync.
Less effort and speed is what I am after - the benchmark I want to get as close to is the Trick pro1v but I don’t want to spend £1200. So am looking at either the dyna sync or the pearl demon xr doubles
For the price choose Dyna Sync, but both are great.
ive played iron cobras for a long time, im looking forward to watching your video to see what this tama pedal is like. the first thing i did notice was how boring and minimalist the foot board looks compared to the IC. anyway, if this pedal is better i will be buying one, thanks for the vid
It's by far better than iron cobra. I stop playing with IC 6 years ago. Move to speed cobra and than Dyna-Sync. Go go go 💪
That footboard is the advantage. It is much easier to play slide technique on the smoother surface.
@@ivanbajovic3476 also agree with that
@@francisfernandezcappola YOU LIKE DYNA BETTER THAN SPEED COBRA?
@@YOUARESOFT. no doubts. Dyna-Sync is the best. But you to keep the cam big.
Dyna sync is the best pedal you can get without going to Axis or Kopyto.
I really don't like Axis, and never tried Kopyto, but i can tell you for sure Dyna-Sync it's the best pedal i've tried. And let me do things i never done. Really easy to control
@francisfernandezcappola Had mine a few years now.
It's consistent, well built and never breaks.
Tama can't be beaten there.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 i have to try it. Thank you 🤜🤛
@@francisfernandezcappola Do try it.
Had the Speed cobras and thought they were too light and couldn't be adjusted so I sold them too.
What are your pedal settings? I have just bought one, but my slave pedal stops after 5 secs and main pedal after 7 secs
Coil with maximum tension. Beater angle slightly close to the bass drum. That's all!!
Get a Trick drive shaft. Zero lag on the slave.
@@njmontano1625 wait for my next video. Thank you.
👇 "Promosm"
Im hesitant on spending the money because the drive shaft has no visible upgrades, that in my opinion is the weak point on these pedals
@pinchebrew 2 things:
1 - @tamadrums is 50 years old next year so big things will happen.
2 - Buy the Dyna-Sync, sell the drive shaft and buy the one from Trick Drums.
It's PERFECT. BTW i have a video coming soon about my Dyna-Sync upgrade. And please don't forget to subscribe the channel. Thank you so much.
