Great video, my friend. Your detailed review of each pedal is very helpful to many, I’m sure. I played an Iron Cobra 900 for like 20 years and just recently got a new one (the Blackout Edition) and it’s awesome. I also have a Speed Cobra 900 and a DW5050 (Carbon Fiber) and love these as well. All for different reasons.. the IC has an excellent balance of power and speed whereas the SC is much smoother and lighter, great for speed with a bit less power. The 5000 is nice for power and it’s smooth but much heavier feeling than the other two… I like this the least, but I find it best for slower music like jazz or fusion, more bombastic playing. I feel like the 9000 will be a great all around pedal and one I should probably get in the near future! I always get double kicks since I do play double bass occasionally.
Hey, thank you for your comment. I agree with what you said. 💪💪💪
Thanks for the info. I bought the dw 5000 xf double today.
Great choice Paul. 💪
I know its not here but I really like my 310 Tama Speed Cobra. Works well with my large feet. Ive tried it with and without the Cobra Coils and I like it with.
We should use what we feel more comfortable with and theres nothing wrong with the SC 310. 💪
Thanks for a great review! Yes I agree, the round cams offer more control and better feel 👍🏼
My pleasure
I tried to play on the Tama Speedcobra HP910, I really liked the response and the pedalboard.
Speedcobra 910 is an awesome choice. Dyna-Sync is the next level of Tama Pedals. Try it, just for fun. Or watch my latest video about it!!!
I'm starting to dislike mine. I've had it for about 6 years now and I find it extremely difficult if not impossible to land an 8th note triplet with it. I recently recorded in a studio with an older Pearl pedal (unsure of the model but probably a P530?) and it felt way smoother, way more controlled, and was easy to land 8th note triplets. Might start using the old DW 5000 I got from a drummer buddy of mine.
I have Yamaha fp9c and it suits great for me very good pedal great control and i also have Iron Cobra hp900 power glide which is also a great pedal
I had no idea why, but i didn't like the Yamaha. I know it's a good pedal, but i couldn't control it. :)
@@francisfernandezcappola i think that's from setup more likely
Pearl eliminator here as my choice anyday! I have the OG eliminator powershifter also, 19 years it has been with me and is in perfect condition.
Well-done 💪💪💪💪
Finally.. I always wonder your opinion about pearl p930. Maybe I should stick with pearl Eliminator black solo
Thank you Stian!
@@francisfernandezcappola you're welcome! Btw have you tried it without the cam?
@@stianhelldiver3819 i haven't but cams have a BIG influence in playing.
Hey Francis, which one would you pick between the DW3000 and Iron Cobra 600? I’m getting double kick pedals soon and I’m torn between those 2. Thanks!
For sure i will choose SpeedCobra 310. This is the best low cost pedal i've tried.

@@francisfernandezcappolaThank you for the recommendation. I wasn’t taking the speed cobras into account and after looking them up I really like them. It worries me that I’ve been reading that the longboard could be uncomfortable for smaller feet users. I’m a size 40 EUR or 7.5 US, do you think I would have any problem using the 310’s?
@@Brilthor3 forge5 about that. Speed Cobras are really easy to control, light, and you can achieve high BPM's. I have a video talking about the SpeedCobra 310.
@@francisfernandezcappolain that case I’m definitely getting the speed cobras 310, thanks a lot for the recommendation
