Another awesome video, my friend!
Obrigado. 🙏
I had a Sonor beater and it gives a ton of punch 👌, I have a Slug, Low Boy, and Tama Speed Cobra rubber beater which all give me a different tone.
What's your favorite???
@@francisfernandezcappola out of the ones I have currently probably my Lowboy, I need to order another Sonor because I gave mine to my little brother. I would like to try that Czarcie Kopyto beater because it sounds pretty good on your video
@@1thess523 A lot of drummers talk about the Low Boy. Thank you 🙏
@@francisfernandezcappola i like it but it's heavy and it took some getting used to but once I did it works well, they have a mini Lowboy as well but I haven't tried that. I think you said you like a light beater right? I saw you mentioned also that the weight collar is useless, I actually had to add some weight to my Slug beater because all my other beaters are a little heavy and that Slug is super light and it was throwing me off. I play pop and skate punk which if you aren't familiar is mid tempo to fast but I like the weight of a heavier beater because it helps me get the punch I'm looking for even at fast speeds
@@1thess523 i love punk rock and melo hardcore, of course i know. It makes sense, so try the weight beaters.
I enjoyed your video. After experimenting with 10s of different beaters I would agree with almost everything you said. I found that slightly heavier beaters like Trick Dominator at 3.4oz (96gr) work the best for me on acoustic drum heads as far as the acoustic sound goes without triggers etc. I enjoy the Trick ProV beaters on practice pad and/or electric drums.
Thank you for watching 💪💪💪💪❤️
I know you put a lot of thought and effort into this video but .... I felt that was too much talking and trying them on a plastic head was just a clacky noise. If you do a video on an acoustic bass I would find that interesting
Thank you for watching Paul ❤️
I liked that Italian sounding metal beater, what is it called?
Hey, its not Italian it's Polish. The brand is Czarcie Kopyto
Hi Francis nice review again thank you but could you pls review also pearl quad beater and old standart tama IC beaters which they are most used beaters thanks again
Hey. Thank you. I can on the next video
I can't remember the brand, but I use a lightweight Felt/Plastic beater using the plastic side. I have E-Kit so the main thing ain't the volume it creates, just the quickness. They are very similar to the Pearl DB100 (they might even be those). This seems like the best choice for me
Please let me know which model and brand is. Thank you.
When you say the beater hits your foot, can't you just adjust your pedal so it doesn't hit your foot?
Of course i can adjust. But if i decrease the angle of the beater it gets difficult.
I have always liked the red danmar wood beaters,or better,on my speed cobra is a blue hardwood innovative percussion brooks wackerman signature beater, ill, try the trick when i get a chance.
Trick are underrated. Believe they are really good.
Depends on how big the bass drum is 16 18 20 22 24 26 to the center of kick drum my man
Yes, of course i just test them on the bass drum pad. It's the same surface for all the beaters. Thank you for watching ❤️
There is no point in comparing beaters on a practice pad... Most of these beaters are made different so it changes sound not just performance. Pls do this again on a real bass drum.
I can try to do the PART II of this with new different bass drum beaters. Thank you for watching ❤️
bro, if you did this video with real kick drum, video would be usefull
Thank you. I will be working on Part II with real kick. Don't forget to subscribe.
