- One Piece Chapter 958 starts off Act 3 of Wano, but not before a brief Pirate King Flashback involving Lord Oden! Once the curtain opens, we find that the Scabbards are in dire need of support, yet Luffy and his friends have Mysteriously disappeared! Who is responsible for the damaged port?

Honestly i didn't see that shit working either way. Like regardless of the fact that there's a problem in the plan cuz the nobody is at the port etc They still don't know about big mom and kaidos alliance. They don't know what kind of power awaits them at onigashima.
I think in only one in the scabbard who knows that plan changes due to the traitor on their side and law probably save the 4,000 allied since he accompanied with x drake and tell to franky that they have to change the port

I'm starting to think that Lady Toki didn't see 20 years into the future, but instead it has to do with what Roger and Oden found on Raftel. Crocus was the first to mention that Roger is waiting for a certain pirate, WB also mentioned that, and now Oden said he will be "waiting". This really can't be a coincidence.

That's probably all going according to Law's scheme.
- He realised that a traitor is amongst the scabbards and pretended to be upset, so that he has a reason to establish distance between him and the alliance to set up a different port as the start of the raid.
They changed it last minute and let the scabbards in the dark to fool the traitor.
Trust me guys, they're not defeated or captured. They're fine.
The port wouldn't be there in the first place if they went all out, so yeah law help them out and nami can predict weather she knew the waves would get really rough

The Oden silhouette is still a mystery because the wait is unbearable. Orochi has to be the most hated character in One Piece for a long time now. He gets to be cozy with hot devil girls during break, while we have to wait. The rage.

Oden went to Raftel with Roger and we see him leaving the crew this chapter with Buggy and Shanks on board, this confirms they went to Raftel unless we've had an unreliable narrator at some point or Roger left them on an island somewhere before he went and picked them up again after.
It was stated that only the senior members witnessed One Piece, even if Buggy and Shanks went to Raftel, they didn't went to see the One Piece.

Kyoshiro is one of the missing scabbards, he's been planing this for 20 years
I'm sure that he is Denjiro, he's left in charge of capital, and there was some procession or something happening. I think he will free those 1000 samurai in Rasetsu district. This setback for the scabbards may turn out to be a boon, they'll gain even more allies, and conduct a proper raid. That's what I'm thinking.

Actually now we know that shanks and buggy was there when Roger became a pirate king.
Maybe that's why buggy is so obsessed with the other pirate's treasure, he's already seen the one piece and it's more of a symbol/symbolic item and not monetary, so he doesn't care about it.
And why the world government is so relaxed/respectful with shanks bc he knows what the truth is.

@@rainofkhandaq6678 Its actually been long speculated that they were left off of the final voyage because they were too young, or it was too dangerous or whatever. So the fact that we now know that they were on the ship for at least part of the Final Voyage is interesting.

The juxtaposition from Orochi to the Scabbards is amazing! And the fact that Onigashima is ominously in the distance for both scenarios was great! I hope we get to see them next chapter

Oden is a very important character to the story that an arc is dedicated to him. Maybe he holds the key in finding the one piece or the void century.
For me Kyoshiro is one of the scabbards, (Hyori/Kamurasaki being alive is one prove of it) and maybe he is the one who was ordered by Orochi to attack the port where the alliance will meet. Since he is one of the scabbard, he helped the alliance to get to Onigashima by smuggling them through Orochi's ships.. But also maybe he destroyed some of the ships and arrests some of them to avoid suspicions from Orochi.

What if the cover story is following Lola and Fire Tank Pirates' journey so that later on they reach Wano and then in Wano Lola somehow manages to help Luffy with Big Mom. Remember when she told them to ask for help from her mother when in need. I can imagine Lola sacrificing herself for Big Mom to rescind her alliance with Kaido, making it relatively easier for the Strawhats as they would have to then deal withh one less Yonkou, not to mention bringing more help in Fire Tank Pirates.
Zoro and the others went to Wano by Law's submarine, they told that in Zou. Inuarashi and Momo stayed in Zou so Momo could learn more about his connection to Zunisha

If you look at the really cool panel with all of the scabbards staring out at the waves, every single one is looking out at the water (we see their backs) except Shinobu, whose looking left. Could this be a subtle artistic decision to separate Shinobu from the rest (she's the traitor)?

Oh yea there's truth to that. I don't really know man. Maybe Oda dont want to show us oden at that point in the manga. He wants to reveal how he looks like later in his flashback but he needed oden to be apart of this Roger flashback so he used his silhouette powers and did it.
Oda was obviously trolling with Orochi and left us thinking he probably will look badass. Turns out to be a goofy looking character. With Oden, he really might look badass.

Oden in the anime - here is what he looks like in full in wano arc op 2. Here is basically his face reveal in yasu's flashback, first Oden vs kaido flashback during Zoro meeting with Hitetsu, episode 958, and then this chapter's scene.
