to be fair, you won't see a fight that's on the scale of egghead anywhere else on the new world. a yonko and crew, admiral and gorosei with marine forces all fighting
They weren't really supposed to be that deep. When Sakazuki took charge, he moved the main HQ into the new world.
Regular marine need to taste hell to make them strong, some of them need to rise to be next admiral.
Fr the power gap between the four blues and the grand line make it looks like demon slayer vs Dragon ball.
Bonney stabbing Saturn is like doing 1 damage on the final boss on the hardest difficultly.

What Bonney did is the equivalent of hitting an opponent on Shadow fight 2 when it's level is impossible/purple

So here are few points to sum up everything I found so far from different people:
1. Saturn saying „The worlds surface, it‘s been a while“ and „Humans are like insects“ in chapter 1090 really indicates that he‘s not human at all but rather an immortal devil itself. Also supported by Sabo saying that hell is located at top of the world.
2. Considering Saturn having 5 and Mu meaning nothing (0), we could consider Saturn being the weakest and Imu being the strongest.
3. Based on Saturn being an Ushi Oni assigned to fire (see the flame patterns on his body), we could assume that the other Gorosei are based on the following: Peter is Umi Bozu (water), Mars is Ziz (wind), Nusjuro is Nurarihyon (spirit), Warcury is Behemoth (earth). This also fits into Gorosei being based on Archons from Gnosticism.
4. Egghead could be some sort of Sabaody 2.0. Now that Luffy is at his limit but a big threat is right in front of them, they are in need of an external savior. Maybe Kuma (again) since the whole Bonney/Kuma plot is still open and Bonney seems to know smth about Saturn. In addition, the Egghead incident is promised to shock the world, where people say Oda intentionally used the word "shock" to hint at Kumas importantance in this arc. The ancient robot could possibly play a big role in here as well.
The worlds surface comment most likely was about him not leaving marijeoa for years since the surface of that island is up in the sky

I find it interesting that ppl are open to the gorosei being literal devils and not having a df inspite of saturn's devil fruit swirls on his body, having a black hagoromo scarf like kaku and lucci all cuz of the magic circle entrance(which could be a byproduct of his mythical zoan) and taking his surface comment literally

Another thing that really caught my attention was that he referred to Luffy as Nika rather than by his name. It could be that Saturn not only summoned this power, but that the power is actually an entity that possessed Saturn and the entity may know this Nika, or is familiar with him. Saturn and this entity are sharing the body and the entity is being expressed or brought into existence through the same way as the Zoan "devil fruits."
As the Gov't stated, Gum Gum fruit almost acted as if it had a will of it's own. This also adds more credence to Blackbeard being possessed by the Yami Yami no mi, or rather - the spirit or will of the Yami Yami no mi, found Blackbeard, and was separated from it's actual powers, and was trying to find it's way back to it's powers by tempting Blackbeard and subverting his will for greatness to achieve it's own agenda. It's speculative at best but I honestly like this explanation.
I agree with this alot except the part about yami yami no mi and blackbeard; because blackbeard was the same way he is now before he ate the yami yami no mi he just hid his true self under white beard until he finally got the DF. Its more fair to say that the fruit and black beard are alike and was attracted to black beard for he is

Fair point to mention, we did get basically "Angel people" in the sky island arc, so it could just be that similar to how the Lunarians, have weird stuff. There might be people from a hell island or something similar.
So agree with the elders and imu not being human. Garcia even called luffy nika instead of strawhat meaning they also seem to know joy boy on a personal level.

Egghead is the parallel to Sabaody for many reasons.
Elbaf Is next and will be the parallel to amazon lily. A Warrior tribe who values strength. my guess is that luffy will split off with the strawhats (possibly to go with dragon if he arrives on egghead, or if Luffy potentially has to stay behind so that his crew can safely get to elbaf as a parallel to how he couldnt protect his crew at sabaody)
I am now convinced that Marie Jois is after Elbaf and will be the parallel to Impel Down. Marie Jois is the highest place on earth, and impel down is the lowest. Impel Down is seemingly hell, but still has a community of positive people (Newkama), while Marie Jois is seemingly heaven, but as Sabo described is, in reality, hell on earth. I believe the Strawhats will have to sneak in in the same way luffy snuck in to Impel Down. Also Luffy didnt even defeat the main villain of Impel Down, Magellan. Could we see a team up between Luffy and Blackbeard to defeat Imu??
And then the final war. No idea where this could take place lol possibly at laugh tale? who knows

Robin may not be the main focus of the arc but I think Oda showing us the the aftermath of Ohara is important. Robin is the “demon child” and Ohara id essentially a “nation of the demons” where the “demons of Ohara” hails from (according to the world). Oda and his themes. I like your idea about demons. Maybe Goda is trying to build something on this.
The Ride, Ride fruit is really good for somone small like Bluegrass, it would be really cool to see a Tontatta use that fruit because of there tiny size.

I think the key to Blackbeard might be the connection that was made with Uta. It was her devil fruit power that was able to unlock the power of “The Demon King”. Remember when Blackbeard fought Ace? He use a technique “Black Hole” to suck the town into darkness and then use a technique called “Liberation” to expel the town. If the theory of The Gorosei’s (5 Elder Stars/Planets) is correct and their true powers/form was somehow sealed, maybe it was Blackbeards devil fruit that unsealed them. Maybe he can even “seal” and “unseal” them. What if that’s the reason Imu had his picture alongside Luffy, Shirahoshi and Vivi? Because these powers are the ones that pose him the biggest threat of being defeated. And maybe that’s also a key to the events in the Void Century. Maybe the person who betrayed the D Clan somehow gained or stole the power of the darkness fruit and made a deal with Imu to unsealed these demons into the world and that’s how the war was won.
There’s so many themes that have been floating around that are starting to merge and have a clear connection. “Sun” God, Five Elder “Stars/Planets”, a Darkness fruit with the power of “Black Holes”, “Celestial” Dragons, and even the “Void” Century. There’s the people of Wano and their connection to the Moon, I even remember in an another video that you made a connection to Sanji’s previous bounty and the planet Venus. There’s the 3 Ancient Weapons in Pluton, Poseidon & Uranus. And if there’s Devils and Devils fruits, are the people of the Sky Islands Angels? Lol idk man, this story is so beautiful and I can’t wait for all these questions to be answered
It's interesting that Oda decided to use Bonney for the first attack on Saturn. I can see Bonney using her attack to try and take away 100 years off of Saturn's life, just to find out that it doesn't work. The readers finally discover that he's immortal.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Bonney is alive not because they don't wanna kill her but they CAN'T. In fiction, demons do contracts pretty often. Maybe a pact with Kuma was made regarding Bonney and killing her nerfs, damages, or releases them from staying on the mortal plain. They likely thought it was easy enough to agree to cuz Bonney is "just one girl" even if Kuma had little leverage against the Illumina- I mean, Gorosei

Small theory for the end of egghead, we haven’t seen BB crew yet, a lot of speculation was that Katerina was impersonating somebody mainly Bonney, but I think a better theory could be that after egg head resolves, BB comes in and kidnaps Saturn for his plan to make his kingdom
Yeah i mean the pentagram summoning at least to me made it feel pretty obvious, completely off the mark even, that we weren't dealing with another devil fruit. I think we might be getting to the part of the story where those bits of lore start to coalesce into something. Demons, Lunarians(potentially angels), Giants, Sea Bests, and honestly even Dragons. Compared to the technology available and the fact that the majority of the one piece world is like islands, it starts to seem more and more to me that this story is turning into a post apocalyptic world that regressed back to a time where piracy was normal, and potentially because chunks of land have just been wiped out (ancient weapons are kinda proof of that).

I always thought the 5 elders were tacticians or politicians, not powerhouses, but to choose to showcase their power in the presence of an admiral, I'm not so sure that's the best approach, it'll either undermine the admirals (by doing sth so easily Kizaru himself couldn't have done) at a time where oda is trying so hard to re-establish admirals after luffy has become yonko, or it'll be underwhelming by also failing to do what kizaru has been trying to do. Either way, not a good timing.
Or Oda could find a middle ground and show the elders as being on par with the admirals. So neither side is undermined
Ever since the Gorosei have been introduced it was obvious they were the strongest world government force. They were dressed like CP9 agents and one of them had a weapon that looked like a better version of the Wado Ichimonji. By the rules of anime, especially shounen, they were meant to be the strongest especially because we knew the least about them. I think people trying to over complicate it by saying they aren’t fighters or not stronger than admirals came from people not wanting how they view the power levels of the admirals to be challenged. Saying they weren’t fighters always seemed like such a desperate reach to keep admirals at the top of the food chain.
Bro they've been alive for 800 years. If they're real demons it makes sense and could just be the next level of power the strawhats have to get to. For all we know Dragon, Shanks and the admirals are already aware of this.
@@rerrer3346 Why would anyone wish to keep admirals or whoever for that matter at the top of the food chain? what purpose does that even serve? That's not it, rather I think it's to do with the power dynamics of the story and how it plays out & affects the overall build up of the one piece world now & in the past. It is precisely because admirals were thought to be the strongest; and since the gov only has a few of those monsters; that it was necessary to use allied forces so to speak such as yonko and warlords, Oda introduced this system as a necessity, but if the gov had such strength, then the yonkos and warlords should have been treated like any other pirates since they could be easily overcome. For this very reason, the five elders were thought to be controlling minds rather than fighters.
Also, this approach is clearly how Oda intended to build the one piece world, because once the gov had no longer any needs for the warlords; they were hunted & treated like any other pirates. That is why it seems redundant, not because people are obsessed with powerscaling, I hope I clarified for you.
@@stuts2371 We don't know much about them and I think even Oda wasn't so sure what to make of them, that's most likely why he kept them a mystery up until now. I think even recently Oda wasn't so sure, to me if he wanted to showcase their unmeasurable danger & strength, they should have straight killed sabo or at least captured him since all five of them were present & sabo was exposed to highest classified piece of information, that would have been a perfect chance, maybe he will redeem this in future chapters, who knows.

"Ive set a rule that in the world of One Piece, theres nothing mysterious other than the Devil Fruits. In other words, any phenomenon outside of the devil fruits can logically exist without being strange. So, even tho the Demon King Tottumujika appears in the Uta World, the concept if a 'Demon' King does exist in One Piece."
Which tells me that the same theory that vegapunk had for the devil fruit origin is the same cause of the phenomenon of other weird things we see in the one piece world i.e. the mass or group of ppl desired and manifested yokai devil fruits or literal yokai demons. Brook being summoned by long leg cultists might be forshadowing for that. Perhaps 5 of the 20 kingdoms conjured or desired for a power to defeat joyboy or all 19 out of 20 desired a demon king and the nerona monarch inheirited their will

Here is my take. "One piece is a tale that revolves around the themes of struggle between God's & demons for power. Sun God Nika was King of Gods and Imu was the king of demons. The devil fruits were boons given by Gods' to the humans who worshipped them and wished for any boon. That is why devil fruits (known as God fruit) are known as the manifestation of human desire & passing of god's will. Once the battle was over & demons won, they changed the name of the "God's fruit" to devil fruit to keep the humans away from the god's. During the battle, demons got a weapon called haki which negated the god's power/gifts in the battle & only awaken devil fruits could go against that weapon. As humans were trying to be persuaded by both sides, both powers were distributed among the people.

In greek mytholody, when a mortal looks at the true divine form of a god, they will die. Perhaps that could explain why low ranking marines died just by looking at Saint Jaygarcia.
Wait, why wouldn’t Sawyer connect the tale of the Ushi-Oni to the order given to all commodore level and below marines? Like yes, the in-world explanation is probably Conquerer’s Haki, but it sounds like Oda’s making a clear reference to this tale.

There's a fan theory going around that Saturn took down Gol D. Roger. See, the fan theory goes like this: Roger turned himself in because he got sick and he knew the marines would never stop chasing him since he found the One Piece. The theory says this illness was given to him by Saturn.
This is theorized because Saturn's devil fruit is based off an Ushi-Oni or Cow Demon, which looks like a spider with a cow head. Ushi Oni's are able to curse people with incurable diseases.
So when saturn showed up lookin like this, people are like: "Yo, did Saturn and Roger fight? Did Roger fuck him up but Saturn cursed him to die within a year?"

The only reason why im convinced the Ushi Oni form is a devil fruit power, is because it has the trademarked awakened smoke around him. And this smoke was only seen with awakened fruit.

It may just be the fact I've been watching Bleach TYBW but I feel it may be a similar situation with the Five Elder Stars possibly having self sealed their powers due to the immense power they have and agreed to only break the seal and transform under certain circumstances so that they don't cause too much collateral damage. The seals in the holy land, where we see the elders most often together, could be precautions to keep them from accidently destroying the holy land during tense disagreements. If this is the case the seal he entered into egghead with could have a limit to the amount of time he can be there and transformed. It may also be the combined power of the other elders that allowed the seal to be broke in the first place.

Good theory, but wouldnt make sense because chopper has the only "normal" human model fruit. I would say they are the demoms that demon fruit are based on. Someone probably survived witnessing them and "hoped" to be like that one day. The Gorosei are implied to be immortal, in the living a long time aspect.

But in regards to Chopper's I actually doubt Chopper's fruit is just "normal human", in Drum Island there's some soldiers looking for "A mushroom that can cure any illness" Chopper believes this mushroom to be the Umiudake, but that turned out to be the poisonous mushroom he used for Dr. Hiruluk, then you got Kureha saying that "There isn't a medicine that can cure everything", which is actually weird since, in theory, there's a mushroom that can cure any illness in Drum, which she should know about...
Now, what shape does Chopper's fruit have?

I have a theory: The fruits indeed explore evolutionary. Nika representing a divine future where all man is free, the dream of all people. The gorosei and Imu represent the other possible future, one where humans subjugate one and another to gain power hence them taking 'Demonic" look . Both paths lead to incredible power and as stated in christianity are destined to fight each other. The "D." is then an a ironic nod to actual Demons calling those who can bring heaven to earth a Demon. I mean its a little on the nose for Saturn to literally show up using a fking Pentagram!

If Saturn does turn out to be some kind of demon, I wonder if thats in a different category from oni like Kaido and Yamato are. The gorsei don't seem to be chaotic evil, just going around killing anyone everyone for no reason. It might be kinda interesting if their rise to power had a legit reason at one time and they are trying to maintain the status quo to maintain some kind of balance.

with this week's chapter my brain put weird connect between Saint Jaygarcia and Sanji. Jaygarcia said that he hasn't been in the surface in a long time, well between Germa Kingdom and Baratie Sanji also hasn't been living in a surface island for most of his live. Just a weird connection my brain found while thinking about this week's chapter.
Gorosei definitely have Akuma Akuma no mi or Yokai Yokai no mi and are going to be mythical versions of zoan just like Luffy. I can’t see them being a “demon” or anything like that.
The closest thing we have is Kaido who was an Oni and based on the legendary tale of Shuten Doji one of the three terrible Yokai
I also assume we are going to be getting characters based on Tamamo no Mae and Otakemaru who is most likely going to be Dragon based on his backstory and lore
