I still believe that one of the biggest villain in the end, is Shanks ( in my book he's also Im )... And lastly, he has the time time devil fruit ( after he saved luffy from the sea king ) and he awakened it so he can go back in time or just teleport where/ when ever he wants to fix the timeline according to his needs.. The straw hat was passed to Luffy on purpose... Shanks can also be interpreted as Anakin.. Eye scar, lost limb & will turn to the Dark Side ( hence why I came up with Shanks = IM ).. It's just a theory :D

No. Zoro merely managed to tap into his haki due to the circumstances at the time. Which is why he talked about the "breath" of the stones. It is only after he trained to use haki that he could wield it freely. Like how Usopp tapped into his observation haki, but hasnt trained to consciously use it. Remember, all living beings have haki, it's just a matter of knowing how to use it.
So Zoro vs Das Bones , not only did he get a sliver of observation Haki (breath of all things) but also a very tiny sliver of armament to cut steal?

They kinda can turn their tangibility on and off. If this wasn't the case how would akainu be able to hold documents without burning them or them slipping through him. I don't think akainu would use haki just to be able to hold some documents
I think people keep forgetting that "haki" can just be translated as "will." In his fight with Mr. 1, Zoro describes it as breath, but he's definitely sensing the "will" of the rocks and imbuing his "will" into his sword. Seems like observation and armament haki to me.
First hint of observation was Luffy against Mr. 3 in Little Garden. Luffy hit him through all of the wax clones, and said he knew by instinct which was the real Mr. 3

Can we all agree that Oda is a tier above God level in foreshadowing? The greatest swordsman is the one who can cut nothing.
I really hope he doesn't get the Kubo treatment near the end of the series where he has to end it earlier than expected. Oda really seems to enjoy tying up loose ends, and I think it's safe to say that the overwhelming majority of his fans really appreciate that.

Alan Brad he won’t. The reason Kubo got that treatment was because Bleach became utter dog shit and a fucking pain to read after the Aizen arc. It fell fast in popularity and wasn’t making the returns on $ that it once did. Jump had to end it because Kubo wouldn’t. Granted, I enjoyed parts of the 1000 year blood war arc but overall it was still terrible. One piece remained at #1 and will continue to do so because Oda is simply a better writer than Kubo

I think the end of the Little Garden Arc also displayed armament Haki. When Brogy and Dorry cut through the Sea King. The Merry was however unharmed despite it clearly being in the range of the attack.
To be fair I just thought that was the insane wind pressure from their attacks hahahaha pretty sure big mom does things like that so giants are pretty op

What underlines the whole 'Zoro vs Mr. 1 was haki foreshadowing' is the fact that haki blooms under extreme circumstances, because Zoro almost died

These kind of chapters are why I read one piece. So much has been explained and so much has happened. 8/10 chapter for me. Great character growth in both Luffy and Zoro. Loved seeing Luffy's future sight again always amazing to see. New armanment haki looking clean and all of those references to Zoro master. Hope we get some more insight on him as well as Zoro this arc.

I mean, Zoro vs Mr1 was obviously the first glimpse of the idea of haki Oda ever showed us. I personally have known that for years. Then in WCI when he tops it with the quote of haki blooming in extreme situations, it solidified my beliefs even more since Zoro needed to reach the brink of death before being able to bypass Mr1's power. And now, finally, it is 100% confirmed. So yeah, this one was obviously planned from the get go.
back in the baratie, when sanji was fighting pearl, sanji did not get burned by pearl's fire. in an SBS, a fan asked how, and he said "it is because sanji's will burns hotter than fire"

Dragon using advanced Conqueors haki and Observation haki to save Luffy and that clash with Smoker Armament haki way before Alabasta.
Observation haki and armament haki from Kuro when fighting Luffy. Luffy took blunt damage and could dodge Luffy's attacks before he would attack and could even stand on his arm with no worry.

About the Haki Alabasta thing:
There are actually a few hints to Haki in the Alabasta arc (and my english is a little bit meeh but I will give my best).
Remember when Luffy fought Mr.3 and Mr. 3 basically used Kage Bunshin to make wax copies of himself? Luffy hit the real Mr. 3 on the first try and said he used „Instinct“ to do so, which is a clear hint to observation Haki if u ask me :)
I dont remeber the exact chapter/episode, but there is a certain scene with Nami and Vivi on the Marry. Vivi is shocked by Namis navigation skills, especially about her ability to predict upcoming changes in weather. She EXPLICITY mentions that it should be IMPOSSIBLE for her to forsee these changes, no matter how good she is as a navigator. Observation Haki it is, man. I cant really describe why it is more then just Oda fanboying about Nami through Vivi (because my english kind of sucks lol) but you will know exactly what I mean when you read ist. Maybe someone who reads this comment will know which panel I mean and tell us the exact Chapter.

I always liked how the straw hats discovered new powers within themselves during battles... but it seems that this plot device isn't enough anymore... Anyone else pick up on the street fighter references? In Wano the advanced haki blast technique is called ''Gouken''' (translates to Strong Fist). In street fighter, Gouken is the martial arts trainer and mentor of Ryu and Ken and taught them their signature attack Hadouken which is in effect a blast of spirit (ki) energy ~ similar to the advanced haki blast of Hyo and Rayleigh.
Wasn't it revealed that sea stone is the most sturdy material in the one-piece world? in dressrosa, the smile factory was built with seastone and frankie had to flip the whole factory. Also, Wano seems to be the country where the processing of both poneglyphs and seastone originated from, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that they have enough seastone to spare to handcuff even non-devilfruit-users.
Back in the Dressrosa flashback, Kyros seemed confused as to why Doflamingo arrested him with sea stone handcuffs despite him not possessing Devil Fruit powers. Perhaps they are capable of suppressing Haki after all 🤷♂️.
Or, you know, maybe they didn't want to waste the effort of putting regular handcuffs on the skilled swordsman gladiator who would probably able to cut them off with ease.

We got Haki development Luffy really got the hang of Obs. Haki. And now the breath of the sword that Zoro heard in Alabasta is confirmed a part of this new technique of Haki deflection.

listen and say if oda prepared this from long ago in alabasta . It' a step by step process to make a sword black .
1. knowing about breath of things and syncing with that breath so that one cut steal(non haki version) and one cannot all things no matter how much he tried with blade the breath will become like a daily usage kind of thing .
2. what hyou said is haki version and becoming one with sword (which zoro asked gyukimaru what is it to become one with sword) . zoro now knows haki so all he should do is perfectly becoming ine with sword . Then ultimately it gives one blade black . and it is also what mihawk stated .

You’ve had the best analysis I seen of this chapter thus far. I actually thought of the zorro fight with MR. One cause I just recently started the anime all over again. when I saw this chapter. It made me realize that the reason we’ve not seen zorro full strength yet is because he might out shine luffy. Zorro tends to get a better understanding of how to use his strength in a fight better than luffy. We just tend to give him all the hype because the storyline tends mostly focus on him.

Oda be pulling this type of bullshit all the time. Future's sight with Katakuri was so special and unique that you would think it's one of the feats that only him can do, but now Luffy can do it, you get a reaction from Queen like "oh this is so basic i'm not even surprised he can do it, I expect no less" which doesn't make sense at all.
It's like when he introduced King's haki; everyone was losing their shit "including big names like whitebeard" when Luffy used it to save Ace "hOw cAn hE hAvE KiNg'S HaKi!!!" like it's so rare that very few individuals can use it and now almost everyone in the new world has it.

When luffy used haki during the big war, he was compared to whitebeard and shanks by ppl in the war; making it seem only very few big names have it, hence the comparison to YONKO.
You also get reactions from admirals/top commandors/yonko/warlords about luffy using it like it’s a big deal. But now everyone suddenly has it lol.

I think people in new world surprises because everyone in the marineford at the time see Luffy as a rookie, a kid, compare to whitebeard pirates behind him. That is why they are so surprised at that time. Then, we can see that whitebeard see potential in Luffy. Before this, he just let Luffy doing his own thing. Atter Luffy used his haki at marineford, whitebeard commanded his crew to protect him at all cost.
We can see it is not rare in the new world because Luffy always meet big shot/famous people that are on top of rank/title/king.

Nah, his roukogan was an air shock wave likely similar to rankyaku and geppo. This is solely haki based.
Speaking of that, what if roukogan is like 20-50 thrusts in a split second, similar to geppo. Would explain the ridiculous power solely from a tap

I think it was stabilished somewhere that to use Kings Haki you had to be confident of yourself, and that it was a sort of manifestation of that confidence. (I think Rayleigh says that). For Observation and Armament, it was said that they stem from a sort of innate strenght to every human being. In a way, you had to also be confident of this strength to manifest it - in this "innate" way, Haki kinda seems similar to an "instinct", or some sort of natural power. Now, do you remember when, in Little Garden, Luffy was able to tell which Mr. 3 was real, out of a multitude of wax clones? He finds him, and call it "instinct". I think it could very well be related to Haki, an inconscious display of it (Luffy starts using Haki long before he realizes it, as we saw with Kings Haki. Two examples are: the bufallo of Duval and the fight in the Isle of Women.). In fact, the cases of Luffy solving or discovering something through apparent luck or instinct are fraught in the series - see how he finds Crocodile in the Nefertari's tomb, for example, or how he aways knows which enemies he must fight. Although not directly related, this could very well be related to Haki. Other possible explanation is, as we must remember, that Luffy, specially, also has the power to hear the "voice" of things, which is an almost unique power and cannot be reduced to Haki. However, in the end, i do think Luffy has manifested Haki early in the series, at least in an incipient, undeveloped way. Either that, or we chalk up some of these cases either to "luck", plot armor, or an unique power...
I think that this form of Armament Haki is a combination of 2 things, 1, using a body movement and armament haki with proper timing AFTER producing some form of shockwave or kinetic energy.
Naturally, when someone throws a punch, a small gust of air is created because the momentum from a fist moving shoves the air out of the way. I believe this type of haki is created by hardening the immediate air particles or substances around you and using the momentum in tandem to create a blast of it. Naturally (it would be invisible because it's air particles being shoved so fast/hard) that it would blast someone far. The trick seems to be hardening the particular particles that are in the path of trajectory of your own body movements.

Do we really know that Mihawk has all three advanced? I don’t like giving people things they don’t have and wait until it’s shown. Mihawk is admiral level for sure, but I’m not even sure admirals are complete haki masters like Shanks, who is a haki master canonically.

I honestly don’t think are any haki masters but Shanks, Rayleigh, maybe even Garo and Sengoku, because being a haki master also includes mastering conquerors haki as well.
draco Meteor I get that, but not everyone has conquerors haki, and no one has even been alluded to having the upgraded version of it but Rayleigh and Shanks, so I believe they might be the only ones alive to have the ability to know what lies behind since they are the only ones to reach their level on haki alone. Garp is in the same boat because he also doesn’t have a Devil Fruit and fought with the king of pirates himself.
