I am a volunteer in a dance class for people who have Parkinsons. We take turns bringing snacks for social time after class. Last week was my turn and I made the lemon balls to share . Everyone loved them !
@@Simnettnutrition you can try melting a chocolate and dip energy balls. Then put it to the freezer and the chocolate will harden around the energy ball - it will be crispy :D

Your channel is a place I turn to when life has gotten rough, I've fallen out of self care, and I need inspiration and motivation to take care of my body and mind again so thank you for being around all these years! ❤
Just drove 3,000 miles and had made a big container of these. Learned them from you a while ago and have been trying different variations. My whole family loves them. Thank you for being an inspiration!❤
Exactly !?! I wonder what it is , because ppl aren't happy like these two people ❤❤Is it the carbs & fresh fruits ! It's like they have this life force unlike anything I've seen !
I adapted the first recipe by using half the almonds (I have found too many almonds can have some kind of effect on my heart… And my husband has AFib so I’m cautious to not create tachycardia lol) and subbed 1/2 cup hemp hearts. I don’t have majool dates so used half cup pitted dates and half cup raisins. Also used grated ginger instead of candied ginger and added a light touch of local honey (could use maple syrup too) The results are amazeballs!!
They all sound yummy but I'm a total chocolate addict so the cacao cherry ones would be my favorite. Actually my very favorite combination is chocolate and orange, so my go-to raw balls/bars recipe is walnuts, dates, cacao powder and orange marmalade. These days I'm too lazy to roll balls so I pack the mixture into a square cake pan, refrigerate for an hour or two, and cut into squares. This way also gives me more consistent sizing for accurate nutrition tracking.
You should try the cacao nib ones if you like chocolate - they are not very sweet though! I did this on purpose, so it's more of a dark chocolate tase, you can sweeten them more if you need to (add some dates).
Making the Tahini Cranberry! Just taste it and oh my… sooo good! Looking forward to made the others! Thank you for sharing. You guys are awesome, love to see Crystal interacting in the video.

I already tried the lemon ginger and the carrot cake flavored ones and absolutely love them! New staples in our household! Thank you for sharing the recipes!
Absolutely love these ideas! I feel like those Cranberry Tahini ones would be great rolled in cinnamon! (OK, messy to eat, but worth it.) Also, I really think those Carrot Cake ones would be amazing with some of that crystallized ginger and a pinch of ground mace. One of my favourites to make uses roasted unsalted peanuts, Medjool dates, vanilla, smoked salt, carob powder, and vanilla. P.S. Derek, loved your jam idea!!
Oh my goodness. I cannot wait to make these. Thank you for sharing your recipes and posting them in the description. It makes it so easy to follow. You are my favorite person to watch. Always delicious food and easy to make. God bless!
Can't wait to try all these recipes. I think will like the carrot ones since i have so much carrots i will not eat unless mix into something like energy balls. Thanks so much for this recipes :)
I loved these energy balls! I made the Lemon Ginger; however, I didn’t have the crystallized ginger so I added dried blueberries. For the Cherry and Cacao Nibs, I used sugar-free vegan chocolate chips and rolled them in cacao powder. The last one I made was the Carrot Cake balls. I added raisins and additional carrots. Excellent variations on the traditional peanut butter energy balls.
The carrot look great. I add cooked soybeans and frozen peas to my smoothies in place of powders. I instant pot my bananas with the skin in half, then out them in the freezer. Thank you for all of your recipes and knowledge.
Normally I’d only go for snacks like these if they include chocolate but all of these flavours looked SO good! Definitely want to try the cherry ones ❤🍒
For years I’ve made versions of the lemon ones (with cashews) and also have made lots & lots of peanut butter or almond butter energy balls 😋! But you’ve really inspired me with all of these variations and I can’t wait to try them! Thanks so much!!
Thank you! I just LOVE energy bites! Quick and easy and nutritious! These are great ideas here! I had made one similar to the dried cranberry one. I used dried blueberries and lemon juice and lemon zest! Turned out fabulous!!! Blueberry & Lemon!
These all look so good! I just made the cranberry tahini ones. I don’t like almonds but had some in the pantry, so I figured I’d make those. They are so good but incredibly greasy. 🤔. Maybe my tahini? Next time I may reduce the tahini or add a few oats. I can’t try the others.
Update: I just made these. I rift on the recipe even more. Added apricots, but 1/2 the dates, skipped the lemon juice and added a tsp of molasses and water, I’ve rolled them in chopped almonds, in the fridge now!😍😍
Allergic to peanuts so I'll sub almond butter for those! And YES, JAM!!!!! A little dab of jam in the centers would make those PB&J or PPB&J (protein, peanut butter & jam!). yum!
Have you tried organic valencia peanuts/peanut butter? I'm quite sensitive to regular peanut butter. It is because of the mold/aflatoxins. (There was a triggering point, and after that I became hyper sensitive to it). Anyways, valencia peanuts are usually grown in much drier climates than regular peanuts (usually grown in very humid climates) and thus tend to have much less mold and aflatoxin issues. I spent years thinking that I would never have peanut butter again, until I saw some interesting websites talking about mold/aflatoxins and the differences between regular peanuts and valencia. So far I've tried two that don't bother me at all. Trader Joe's organic valencia peanut butter and Costco's organic valencia peanut butter. Valencia peanuts are most often grown in New Mexico, Texas, and Spain btw. (Regular peanuts usually in the deep south or in sub tropical areas).
