- ZILDJIAN K Z DYNO BEAT VS SABIAN AA FUSION HI HAT 13
- ZILDJIAN K Z DYNO BEAT HI HAT 13
Loved by players and studio engineers, these hats record beautifully.
K top hat and Z dyno beat bottom.
Dark and warm with plenty of cut. Nice and crisp.
Great for rock or metal.
- SABIAN AA FUSION HI HAT 13
Pairing the iconic sound of their oldest series with an updated design made for today's players, the Sabian 13" AA Fusion Hi-Hat Cymbals provide classic sound with an edge. Bringing together a traditionally lathed medium-heavy AA top hat with an extra-heavy un-lathed HH bottom outfitted with air vents, the Fusion Hats bring sharp articulation that sits higher in the tonal spectrum thanks to the 13" sizing.
What do you think about this cymbals? Which do you prefer?
Write it in comments!
HD and Headphone racommended!

I liked of the sound of Sabian AA.
Still wondering why compare AA with K? Should've been K and HHX legacy or anything within that range.
Ks vs AAs doesn't make any sense.
It’s a K top and Z bottom
The Sabians are AA top and Hand Hammered bottom, so it makes sense to compare these
Sabian AA sem dúvidas tem o melhor som
Only hhx, evolution, legacy and artisan are similar series tô k, k custom
Sabian Hand Hammered from the early 80s rules all...no ifs or buts 👊🏼
Oh, I really like those. The best ones I've used to play heavy metal.
K/Z all day. More Depth/ Body to the tone. But the Sabians are pro quality. I used a 14" pair of 'Sizzle Hats on my last recording in combinations: as a stand alone, Sabian Top/ Zildjian New Beat Bottom, 12" Chinese top hat on top of 14" sizzle hat bottom as effects hats played semi- open. Sounded sweet!
❗😳❗Wait.... Did you say you actually MIXED Sabian and Zildjian hi hats? That's sacrilegious blasphemy! I'm pretty sure it's even illegal in some states! As a drummer, you should know that it's incumbent upon you to pick ONE cymbal brand, and stick with that brand forever! [Well, at least until another brand offers you a more lucrative endorsement contract, then it's a-ok to switch]. But that's the ONLY allowable exception to the rule! 😡
👉Seriously though, I've seen people mix hi hat tops and bottoms, and even use a crash cymbal as part of a hi hat combo. But I've never even considered the notion of constructing a hi hat setup from 2 different SIZED cymbals. How did that work out, and is it important to have one of those mix-matched cymbals thicker than the other(like maybe the smaller cymbal thicker than the larger cymbal, or vice-versa)?
Now try to compare hhx, im a sabian user and im happy to play with sabian cymbals🤘
🌟Sabian😃👍
What's this tip of the stick thing? It's not a proper demo, sorry.
They, Both, sounded like an, Upright, Aluminum-Stand, 1940's, Ash-Tray, To me. :T l, Personally, enjoy using the, Original, Sabian, B8, Rock Hats(14"/36cm), Because, They have an, Extremely-Crisp and Nicer-Sound! :) ...and the price is Very-Nice, Too! :)
Nothing against sabian, but I’ll take anything k over anything aa any day.
The K's have a very "Amateur hour", one-dimensional sound to them
K♥️
Zildjian all the way
Zildjian
Good choise man ;)
Why do you prefer Zildjian ?
u compare a wrong class of cymbal, should be HHX and K
not comparison, K zildjian a winer
Once again I'm reminded why I don't particularly care for Sabian cymbals.
Once again I'm reminded why I don't particularly care for stupid comments
You could easily get a pair of Zildjian’s that sound bad to your ear. I had a brand new pair of New Beats back in 2018 that sounded harsh and had a high frequency overtone that was painfully piercing. Absolute torture to play. The guy that I sold them to loves them. Sabian is not second rate to Zildjian even on a bad day. I own both Sabian and Zildjian and both companies have great models. Although these days I prefer Sabian. They started as the same company so there’s nothing radically different between how they manufacture cymbals except for some of the hammering techniques. And of course the fact that Sabian still hand hammers some of their models to this day. Zildjian uses machines for all hammering.
Zildjian sounds like hi-hat. Sabian sounds like the dishwasher
I have never heard someone make hi hats sound so bad.
K better
Please hire a real drummer next time
They both sound horrible.
Oranges to apple's
Sabian Sizzle Hats ....nothing better !
Zildjian all the way
