i haven't touched zarya since ow2 came out, and i use to play with her a lot back then.
Zarya was fun tho in OW 1. In OW2 she only prioritize bubbling herself most of the time

My god playing with healers who actually follow you is crazy. Low level tank play is ten times different because you legit have to worry about not being healed a lot of the time…
I think thats why hog has way more use in lower ranks because of his self heal

I know Zarya is the most OP and I get how she functions. But for some reason I’ve just never been able to make her work. Like she just feels off to play as and it feels weird to me for some reason.
I think the biggest pain in the ass right now though is Bastion. Being able to move around whilst in his turret mode is fucked up. It was ok when he had to be stationary to do that, but he is too strong in that form to be mobile. Just fucking rolls around melting people.
Bastion in turret form with Lucio speed and zarya bubble is near unstoppable
Use your bubbles on your team and use then as a shield

Tbh Zarya are not that fun anymore playing her. In Overwatch 1 there's two tanks meaning you can just bubble them to gain energy. Now Zarya you mostly just bubble yourself because as the only tank you need to be in front.
Blizzard literally can just make a 2 hero ban for each team Or even 1 hero ban for each team and that will solve a lot of the problem
That just results in a ban meta and then nothing changes
@@DanielA-xz4yq you don't see the bigger picture here, pick/ban will plug the water for a broken meta and the outcome of that is a data that can be analyze so that it will be easier for the dev to nerf/buff a hero, instead of going to reddit and see what hero the community is whining about
And who actually care about ban meta, most of the game I play have the same pick/ban format and I can't remember the last time someone pissed off over it

I got from plat 5 to diamond 4 on rian only sometimes I switch to zarya if there zarya was cracked
It’s not just that her beam has some good range, but it’s mainly the damage she does even at low charge, in OW1 if you had less than 20% charge you were basically tickling the enemies even squishies, but now even at 0% she is not bad against low hp targets, also giving her 2 bubbles so she can now get to 100% charge in an instant is not good
Why do they disable bastion when he’s broken but zarya just gets delayed and stays in the game seems like blizzard is already putting in the minimal effort
Bastion has always been bad if you play flank. Also he was removed due to a bug, not because he was "good".

OW2 is not in a good place balance vise imo. And Blizzard neglecting it by some random statgraph is really dogshit.
I mean it’s really not as bad as people are making it out to be honestly. Sure zarya and soujern are busted but once you fix them the game is in a pretty solid state
