Thanks for putting Malcolm Douglas back on I reckon every kid needs to watch this program you learn a lot of good things. Malcolm's a really good teacher. RIP Malcolm 👍
My old man introduced me to him when I was about 8/9??? We had to usher a truck to Darwin with supplies for the military. We also had sone of his gear I board as well. I thought he was just old man but my old man told me who he was. We went fishing that afternoon and caught a monster GT
What he is doing in this video is beyond incredible and tough and yet only humble polite well formed sentences to explain. Zero drama. No narcissism whatsoever, no mental play. Just purely intelligent and mentally very tough and balanced man.
I had never heard of Malcom Douglas till I found him on You tube. He is without a doubt one if not the greatest survival expert of modern times. He has my ultimate respect and may his legend live on and inspire others.
Thank you for another great video ,great escapism for those of trapped in the city or suffering from bad health and unable to get out into nature .so down to earth and knowledgeable it was a different time when television wasn’t full of fake drama and repeated footage.hats off to m.d
Love this guy, his such an iconic Australian. Start from Perth or Darwin and make your way to the Kimberly region. Special place the Bungle Bungles, incredible sights to see and yes the tribals still exist, incredible race of people. Before you come learn about them, their DNA, their spiritual belief systems their dream time, their rock art and make sure you do some guided tours with them, pretty special life experience that you will never forget. And take some cash, if your lucky you may pick up a locally made didgeridoo or boomerang, but be careful they do come back, lot like catching a frizby but if you miss, well there's usually a hospital within a couple hundred kilometers lol.
I visited the country in 95 I only arrived on a one way flight on my own with 800 ozzy dollars in my pocket..I wanted to travel round the country but found myself having to work all the time to pay my way..I did go to Byron bay for Christmas and new year’s but mostly I was trapped in Sydney...I hope to go back and do it properly this time and head straight up north..
Malcolm Douglas is great teacher for me... P.S. Just a little bit weird question - if I will take with me to Australia apparel impregnated with beeswax and sort of naturaly oils - is it fine for border control etc....? Thank you very much for answer.
Wow i love watching this Aussie Legend there so much free food out there in the outback for the aporiginal people thats the life i want to live everyday.😁😫🧜♂️👌
Anyone remember the episode Malcolm told the government he was a bricklayer. They said they needed a mason to build a wall for a tribe and the wall turned out to be a mess haha
Good old Malcolm would have blown his load if some bloke wandered by and handed him a mobile phone while he was ship wrecked. Hey Malcolm, you need some water? Just Uber it!
Actually you can use the same wood on itself in most situations and it works fine, if your fingernail can make a dent in the wood and its dry and not rotten it should be good to use. I use xanthorrhoea, langana and hibiscus on itself all the time.
