I made them out of my mothers clothing the year she passed away. Her favorite color was red so they looked beautiful! Everyone loved them. I used my embroidery machine to put her name on the ribbon too!
My great grandmother used to make these, her whole entire Christmas tree was filled with them. I can remember watching her make them when I was little. These are absolutely beautiful!
Love your videos - you don’t lecture, be patronising or shout! I feel I’m right there chatting with you while you’re showing me how to make these delightful ornaments etc. Absolute pleasure and thank you!
Thank you so much for watching, Eve! We're so glad you like our videos and appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Let us know if there are specific projects you'd like to see us make!
My Mother and I used to make these for her Christmas craft shows. I am not sure why I don't still have one, but maybe I will make one this year . . . for her. She has been gone 3 years now and I miss all the crafts we did together! Thanks for posting this long before she went to Heaven.
I remember when this video was first posted and I became obsessed with it. I've made dozens of these every year for coworkers and family members. I've already made 21 so far this year and I still have 5 more planned. I love these so much and you do such a good job of explaining them. This video changed coworker Christmas gifts for me and I thank you for that.
i remember making these about 20 years ago. it has become a lost art and i'm glad i found this site. thank you so much. the christmas tree will be prettier this year,
I love this ornament. My mama use to make these. She couldn't find the pattern before she passed. I am so glad to find this again. I'll be making these this year. Thank you so much.
That's such a sweet memory, thank you for sharing that with us. So glad you found this video and hope you have a wonderful time making these and that they inspire fond memories of your mother.
OMG!! I live in the country and I make quilts and couch throws... I LOVE this 'quilted' ornament. I am going to make these for next year. Thank you very much. Pure genius!!
This is what I have been looking for. The year you shared this I made 12 of these. They are absolutely gorgeous when done. So glad I found this again. I also hung them on an ornament hanger to set on the table. They are so so sweet! Thank you for doing this.
We used to make these years ago. It helps to put the ball in to top of a smaller cup with the area you are working on right in front of you. We also used a tape measure to measure half way around the Styrofoam ball to start on the opposite side. I love the fabrics you chose and am definitely going to make some more. You've inspired me again♥
Omg I made these when my kids were little. Being a crafting on a dime kind of person, being a young single mom I had no money. I purchased little by little all the things to make these. I've got a whole collection of them. Thank you for bringing back some memories. God bless.
Such a special memory, thank you for sharing! Projects like this are so sweet, and being able to use them years later is one of our favorite things. - Morgan
I just love the way you take your time to show us all the details of this project. I love detail and it looking perfect . If your going to do it do it right the first time lol and you do make it look perfect , I can't wait to make these thank you so much for showing us how to do this , I have never seen these before , and I am a multi crafter including Yarn crafter , Papercrafter and sewing crafter . so these are just a breath of fresh air . I thank you
Thank you so much for this kind comment! We agree that you might as well do it right the first time! ;) Please let us know how it goes making these! We really hope you have a good time and would love to see pictures when you're done if you want to share.
been looking for this for over a decade. thank you. this was my favorite craft that my grandma taught me. wish I would've asked her to teach me the process in full before she passed, but I have it now. thanks again.
+Shabby Fabrics thank you. beautiful ornaments and relive beautiful memories. today is actually the sixth anniversary of my grandmother's death. she was an amazing crafter.
On Thanksgiving Day, we were visited by our daughter and her family. Our grandchildren, 8 year old, Kimberly and her 10 year old brother, Brendon enjoyed making this ornament. They both took home their own new ornament for the upcoming Christmas holiday!!
My ornaments all have a history and this one will too. My Mom sewed and quilted. She left many scraps and now I can put some of them to use like this. They will be special to me and those I give them too. Thank you for this video.
Oh my goodness! Such a beautiful ornament, I have never seen anything like this before. Definitely going to try, and you have done so awesome job showing how to make it. Thank you so much! 🙂💕
I've been making these adorable ornaments for years now & everyone I have made them for absolutely love them as well. It is always fun to see them on trees of those I have given over the years & they never get old. I have taught my children & grandchildren & they love giving them as gifts as well. You can make them as simple or extravagant as you want by adding other items. So fun to watch how others chose to make their own.
I love hearing that. I too enjoy seeing handmade ornaments on a Christmas tree. Especially those that I see year after year. These are wonderful traditions that you're carrying one. We are creating our legacy - one handmade gift at a time. God Bless You :) Jen
Just discovered your video and it brought back memories of when I used to make these ornaments many, many years ago. I am so glad the art is still out there with your help. I also used to make potholders like this but stitched instead of pinned. Such a joy to see this art again! Thank you!
We're so glad you enjoyed the video. This is such a fun project, and we're glad we can share it with new generations of crafters and quilters. We love the idea of the potholder using this method. That is probably beautiful!
I JUST ORDERED A FEW THINGS FROM YOUR STORE, AND CANNOT HARDLY WAIT TO GET THOSE PINS AND START MAKING ORNAMENTS. THIS WAS FABULOUS. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHABBY FABRICS.
This is really pretty! I'm going to make some for Christmas. I'll be using a tape measure to find the north and south poles of the ball, though. Seems easier to just measure it than to guess and eyeball it. Thank you for the tutorial!
Thank you so much for showing us this tutorial, I am making lots for family and friends, as we are not gifting this year, but I thought a little hand made item, that only cost me a few pounds to make is a great idea. Merry Christmas to you and all those you love. X
This is such a cute idea. I think my grand daughter will love making these for her mom and Aunt for Christmas. Thank you for showing this. Love your videos.
Birdie Ellen Beris You will have so much fun making these with your grand daughter! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our videos and to leave a comment!
Jen, I absolutely love how calm you are doing this! Makes it much easier to follow and I'm very grateful for that! I'm doing some of these this year as well as stockings that you showed in a previous video. It's going to be a Shabby Fabric Christmas in my house! Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year from Florida!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too from everyone at Shabby Fabrics! We would love to see it when it's all done it sounds lovely! Thank you so much for watching and glad you enjoyed it! - Yajaira
I use either two thin elastics or pieces of string to wrap around the center of the ball to find the two points (north and south if you will) so they will be opposite each other. I mark these points with a black marker ( which won't be seen under the fabric) then remove the elastics (or string) and make the ball the same way you do. I can't seem to eye ball the two points and had to take the ball apart before now. Thanks for a great tutorial!
I just received one of these beautiful ornaments last night as a gift from a friend. I was blown away at how beautiful it was and that it was not sewn. Thank you for this video tutorial. Excellent!
Such an amazing gift to get from a friend! We're so glad you liked it and that you love the look of it. These are some of our favorites and they always look stunning. Thank you so much for letting taking the time to comment. We love hearing from you. - Morgan
I know this video has been here for years but I just tried this for the first time....came out beautifully! I do agree with using a thimble and I hot glued the ribbon on because the pins would not have looked right. As long as you get the squares close to the right size, they will work....its a pretty forgiving technique. Wish I could post a pic. Will be making more for gifts. Thank you for the excellent tutorial!
You're welcome! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed this tutorial. You can always send photos to our email at support@shabbyfabrics.com or post it to our Shabby Fabrics Facebook page. -Kyla
Here's another tip! The plastic pin boxes are great for holding pre-folded squares of fabric. So if you're going to cut & fold a lot of fabric before making the ornaments, keep those plastic boxes and you can get about 1 full ornament per plastic box :)
Darlene, yes thank you for this tip. This idea is great for when I'd want to travel out of town to visit my daughter and already have the material cut and folded. Both of us making ornaments will be fun while we catch up with each other.
I made these years ago. I still have all the fabric, balls, etc. it was in the day before these fancy fabric kits. I should get them out and make more. I have 3 people who just moved away from home. It will be their first Christmas away from home. Guess I will get out my supplies and make some more. They are really fun to do.
I’ve made many of these over the years, but always revisit the tutorial. I use a .5” template I cut out of an index card instead of guessing. I also start with an extra square out of the center fabric and pin it flat down first. It makes starting out super easy and symmetrical. ❤️
‘I’d love to see that template. I have just started my first one and the first 4 fabrics looked perfect. Then when the eyeballing started, my star pattern started looking wonky. I redid some so many times, the pins starting showing through (which I can make look like sparkles I suppose) I did measure the ball and marked the halfway point on the opposite side so I knew where to start. Mine will not be symmetrical, for sure.
JanaB I cut .5” off the short end of an index card. I use that template to line up the pin along the folded crease of the previous folded fabric. I wish I had a way to contact you privately, I would show you in pictures.
Thank you Jennifer for sharing the ornament instructions for the no sew Christmas Ornaments. I've decided they will be for my next years presents! I have quite a number of sets to make for my friends. 💖💖🌟🌟🌟🌟
I place 2 rubber bands around the ball prior to starting in opposite directions. I lightly mark the ball where they cross and it finds the center on each side. Remove the rubber bands and you're ready to begin. I really enjoy your tutorials.
Isn't it so much fun?! We love it, and it's great to start these early so you can get your favorite fabric collections before they all sell out! :) Let us know how your project goes next year! - Morgan
I just finished making 8 of these as they nice little stocking stuffer gifts for my adult daughters and friends. Instead of 1/2 inch though, I did a fraction over that so when done and ready for the band in the center, the band didn't have to be so wide. My bands were made using the extra fabric from the top of the ornament fabric. The placing a very narrow shinny gold ribbon in the center of that band. Turned out great. Thanks Jennifer for the easy to follow instructions and for the super no sew idea.
+Grace Jerome that sounds like such a lovely way to finish off this project!! So glad you were inspired to make some ornaments for your loved ones! Thank you so much for watching Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thanks for this video! I just found this channel and made 2 ornaments for gifts this Christmas. I had a late start, so ended up using quilting "squares" and 3.8" balls. I cut my fabric 3" square and dropped each row about a half an inch. They looked great!
I love that Shabby Fabrics has become part of my annual holiday traditions. I learned to make these 2019 and made them in blue and white and some in reds and greens as gifts. The same fold also made the no sew cone Christmas trees. Then, this year, I made the no sew wreath ornament photo frames for gifts. For 2021, I'm hoping to make some of the placemats and the jelly roll tote.
WOW! I have always wonder how they where made, got one about 12 years or so ago from a co-worker still goes on the tree every Christmas, enjoy this video you explain how to do make them so very well, thank you so much for showing us how to make them!!! Liz x
I just finished my first ornament and I wish I was smart enough to know how to send you a picture. I'm so proud of it. It's beautiful. I am going to start making some for family and friends but I sure wish there was a way to push those pins in without hurting my fingers so bad. Just had a thought, I should have used a thimble. I probably only have about a dozen or so. Haha.
You can send it to us on Facebook or email it to support@shabbyfabrics.com! So happy you completed your ornament! The thimble will absolutely help next time!
If you have it, try wrapping your finger(s) with satin medical tape. If not, you can use masking tape. I've wrapped my fingers in masking tape plenty of times, LOL. It's inexpensive (I use the 1/2in. width. It's $1.00 at Meijer!), and works great at keeping pins (and X-acto blades, LOL) from rippin' up my phalanges while letting me still feel what I'm doin' :) :P
It's a great project for older kids who like to craft. :) Littler ones probably won't enjoy this quite as much as we do. Thank you for watching. - Morgan
❤️ looking forward to making lots of these for family gifts at Christmas 😊 better get started soon tho, there's quite a few of them xx thanks for a great tutorial.
A friend of mine showed these to me and suggested I go to your UA-cam site. I am going to be making these from asian kimonos I have. I think they will be beautiful and elegant. Thanks for showing me how
I love this!!! Thank you for showing how to make. I like your teaching style and it looks beautiful. I love how easy it is, too. New subscriber here. Looking forward to many fun tutorials on crafting!
Love these ornaments. Just a small tip. when making your ornament, use the ribbon holder on it's side to hold your ball when you need to put it down. It can't roll away from you while working!
This is beautiful, I loved watching your video, I really enjoyed it ..definitely will do it. Thank you so much for sharing. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas
I learned how to do these at church quite a few years ago and lost the instructions. Thank you for providing this tutorial. It seems that all the 'old' comes back and becomes new. These are not only used for Christmas, but can be used for different themes throughout the year. Thanks Jen
Thank you. I love the tutorial. I'm just wondering if there is a way to adjust for smaller or bigger ornaments. Using the metric system, I can't find exactly 3 inch styrofoam balls. I'm strying to figure out how I should could my fabric for a 7cm ball. Any tips ? Thank you
What a great idea. I made something similar years ago using much smaller pieces of ribbon and an egg shaped Styrofoam. Folded the ribbon the same way but points down starting at the small end, building to the top where the hanging ribbon covered the pins. It looked like a pine cone when done. Your gold ribbon would be gorgeous. Took forever to make them so I think I will try this. Just finished several hot mats following ýour tutorial for the Plum Easy pattern. Thanks for your tutorials. I really appreciate them.
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! We're so glad you like the tutorials! This is a fun project. It definitely takes some time, but it's fun for a nice weekend spent inside. - Morgan
Hi Jennifer ~ quick question. I want to do a military ornament with the center being the ARMY emblem. How would I do the center ? I was thinking of cutting a small circle instead of the folded pieces. Do you think that would work? Thanking you in advance.
Yes, you could cut the emblem out in a circle and pin it down flat then start the layering of the square pieces a little further out from the center in order to have the emblem show +Cynthia DesLauriers. That way you can cover all of the raw edges of the cut emblem piece while having it still be the center of focus. Let me know if that makes sense! Thank you so much for watching!
We're using fabric squares that are 1/2 inch smaller than our ball. So you'd want to try 11.5" squares. We recommend trying with scraps or paper first, just to make sure it works before you cut into your nice fabric. :) Let us know how it turns out! - Morgan
Very important to mention: USE A THIMBLE!!! I have no idea why nobody mentions this. To push in pins at least 100 times will make your thumbs really sore.
That Jelly Roll is by Moda but unfortunately we don't have that specific roll in stock anymore +Louise Fontes. Here is a link to all of our Jelly Rolls: www.shabbyfabrics.com/Jelly-Rolls-C87.aspx
Yes, it could +Evey Taylor! However, you would need to hold each piece in place until the glue set and there is a chance your points would not be as sharp as when pins are used.
These ornaments are just stunning. I'm looking forward to making them all year long to give at Christmas. I love your teaching style - so accurate, calm and relaxing. I've enjoyed watching. So glad I've found your channel. Looking forward to catching up on all the ones I've missed. Keep up the great work. Much appreciated. Kathleen
Shabby Fabrics Thrilled to have found you. I've been running your videos all day while I'm sewing. I've saved them to watch again so I can replay them when I make the particular beautiful item. I'm so happy to find new, refreshing, very useful and lovely items to sew. Christmas sewing is starting shortly. Thank you once again. Kathleen
I couldn't find balls that small at the store today. I got 3.9" balls. Are they too big or will they work okay? Or should I make the squares a little larger?
@@ShabbyFabrics How can you tell the difference? The ball on your workspace is white. I thought floral Styrofoam was green and regular craft Styrofoam was white.
Thanks for the nice comment xstitchaddict! Feel free to share a picture of your completed project on our Facebook wall when you're all done if you want to! We love seeing what our followers create!
@@ShabbyFabrics we did the Christmas fabric. My daughter sub ribbon for one row of fabric, so pretty. I'm making a 6" ball. Hanging mistletoe on the bottom😊.
I made them out of my mothers clothing the year she passed away. Her favorite color was red so they looked beautiful! Everyone loved them. I used my embroidery machine to put her name on the ribbon too!

😍🤩 We’re so glad this tutorial inspires you!! Thanks for your lovely comment. -Michelle
I place 2 rubber bands around the ball prior to starting in opposite directions. I lightly mark the ball where they cross and it finds the center on each side. Remove the rubber bands and you're ready to begin. I really enjoy your tutorials.
This is a GREAT idea! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
great idea joan will b doing that thanks
Why would you start in opposite directions?
Hello Jennifer thank you for this vedio, I love crafting with my granddaughter at weekends and this will be on our things to make ,
Thank you for watching! This will be such a fun project to make with your granddaughter!
What a cute idea! I'm definitely going to do this for next Christmas (2019).
Isn't it so much fun?! We love it, and it's great to start these early so you can get your favorite fabric collections before they all sell out! :) Let us know how your project goes next year! - Morgan
I used to make these years, (I'm talking 30y, WOW!) ago for friends for Christmas. It's nice to see it on the net to share w/others.
Hi Doni! Aren't these so much fun?! Thank you so much for sharing! - Sophie
Thanks for sharing such a great tutorial. I want to make several for Christmas gifts for family using my mom's clothing. We lost her to cancer.
You're so welcome! :) Thank you so much for watching, and we're so sorry about your loss.
Awww... That's a sweet idea... Condolences.. Same year my Mom passed as well, still have a bunch of her clothing around...
I love this ornament and the fact that I can use scraps! Excellent tutorial; thank you! Peg
Thank you for such a kind comment Peg Baker! This is a great project to use scraps for!

Thanks for this video! I just found this channel and made 2 ornaments for gifts this Christmas. I had a late start, so ended up using quilting "squares" and 3.8" balls. I cut my fabric 3" square and dropped each row about a half an inch. They looked great!
Welcome! Thank you for sharing your tips! Happy New Year! ~Leah
Thank you for this tutorial! These are beautiful! Can't wait to do these! So glad I found this video.
We are so glad you found this video, too, Roxanne! Thanks for watching!
Hi Whitney! That's so great to hear! Awesome job trying new projects! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
What a nice suggestion. We always bought Mom cardinal print flannel nightgowns. I think I will make one for each of the siblings and grandchildren.
I’ve always loved these!! Thanks to you and your wonderful tutorial I can now make them for our tree 🌲 Peace & Blessings...
They are gorgeous! So glad you like them too and thank you for watching! - Morgan

WOW! I have always wonder how they where made, got one about 12 years or so ago from a co-worker still goes on the tree every Christmas, enjoy this video you explain how to do make them so very well, thank you so much for showing us how to make them!!! Liz x
Thanks! We're glad you enjoy this fun, festive project!! ❄️☃️ ❄️ -Michelle
Love the ornament and you presentation is great for people learning this method. Now to go try to make one :)
Thank you for watching! - Morgan
You are a wonderful teacher. Beautiful ornament.
We appreciate your support and happy that you enjoyed this tutorial! Beautiful ornament indeed! Thanks for your comment! - Abby
The ornament is beautiful but the"kids" who "love" doing this must have way more patience and dexterity than any kids I've ever met!
Yes! Now is a perfect time to start for Christmas! Thanks for watching :)
A friend of mine showed these to me and suggested I go to your UA-cam site. I am going to be making these from asian kimonos I have. I think they will be beautiful and elegant. Thanks for showing me how
+Susan Dufrain thank you so much for watching! Making these with kimonos will be stunning and they will be a great conversation piece!

my granddaughter is exicted to do these with me for next year! thanks for the great and very well explained tutorial.!
This will be such a fun craft to do with your granddaughter Betty Ochoa! Thank you for the kind comment!
Love these ornaments. Just a small tip. when making your ornament, use the ribbon holder on it's side to hold your ball when you need to put it down. It can't roll away from you while working!
What a great tip +Kelly Davis! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your helpful hint!
I’m fascinated! I can’t stop watching you make these! I’m going to have to try it!
They are so much fun, you're going to LOVE them! Let us know how your project goes. - Morgan
This is beautiful, I loved watching your video, I really enjoyed it ..definitely will do it. Thank you so much for sharing. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas
+Samia Keuftedjian so happy you are inspired to try this! Thank you so much for watching- Merry Christmas!
Done! I made my first ornament! So happy
YAY! So happy for you :)
Yay! I just made one! great tutorial! one thing, I used a metal thimble to push the pins in. the poor fingers get sore after a while. ;)
That is so smart of you! Those pins can be really rough on the fingers! Feel free to share your finished project with us on social media!
And then I got the 1/2" pins! They are much more forgiving and you get 2x as much in the container. ;)
I learned how to do these at church quite a few years ago and lost the instructions. Thank you for providing this tutorial. It seems that all the 'old' comes back and becomes new. These are not only used for Christmas, but can be used for different themes throughout the year. Thanks Jen
I also taught this project to our Girl Scout troop when my daughter was a GS and I was co-leader.
This is such a fun project! Thank you so much for sharing, Diana! - Sophie
Thank you. I love the tutorial. I'm just wondering if there is a way to adjust for smaller or bigger ornaments. Using the metric system, I can't find exactly 3 inch styrofoam balls. I'm strying to figure out how I should could my fabric for a 7cm ball. Any tips ?
Thank you
Yes! We generally cut our squares to .5 inch smaller than the size of the ball. So if you have a 4 inch ball, cut the squares to 3.5 inch. - Morgan
I found a package of 6 3-inch Styrofoam balls at Joann's yesterday for 5.99 and I had a 50% off coupon for 1 item at regular price.
I made these with my kids 8 & 6 . Younger one needed lots of help, 8yo did pretty well on his own. Both enjoyed it however Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! So glad you and your kids liked the project! - Morgan
I've made similar ornaments using a square of cross stitch in the centers.
Those probably turned out beautifully! - Morgan
That sounds very pretty!
(I did a few with a centered image, but it was just part of the fabric rather than a cross stitch.)
That looks really fun and i love ornaments that have special meaning because you share in the experience w/someone..friend, niece, granddaughter etc
Yes I completely agree! These can be very thoughtful gifts! - Yajaira
I have some 12" balls, what size squares would I use? Love your tutorials.
We're using fabric squares that are 1/2 inch smaller than our ball. So you'd want to try 11.5" squares. We recommend trying with scraps or paper first, just to make sure it works before you cut into your nice fabric. :) Let us know how it turns out! - Morgan
Thank for this. Very pretty. I'm a beginner quilter. Cant wait to start this craft. I'm going to make me a a Christmas quilt for my bed.

Thank you for demonstrating! You are an excellent teacher, Jen. I really enjoyed this and may be making some with my Granddaughters.
Thank you ! So glad you enjoyed the video. Let us know how they turn out, we hope you have fun! - Morgan
Very important to mention: USE A THIMBLE!!! I have no idea why nobody mentions this. To push in pins at least 100 times will make your thumbs really sore.
Thank you for sharing! Happy New Year! ~Leah
I used to make these back in the 80's. I made cross stitch designs to go in the center. Love them
What a wonderful variation to these! We're glad you enjoy this delightful project! 🎄🎄-Michelle
This amazing! Great work :D I did my first one and love it!
Can you tell the brand or the name of the blue jelly roll fabric?
Thank you! Louise
That Jelly Roll is by Moda but unfortunately we don't have that specific roll in stock anymore +Louise Fontes. Here is a link to all of our Jelly Rolls: www.shabbyfabrics.com/Jelly-Rolls-C87.aspx

I wanted to make something for my children and this is absolutely beautiful n easy step by step tutorial thank you
This is a great project to do with family and friends. All of you will have so much fun! Thanks for your comment! - Abby
Question: Can this project be done using glue instead of the pins? Love the tutorial the quilted look is just beautiful!
Yes, it could +Evey Taylor! However, you would need to hold each piece in place until the glue set and there is a chance your points would not be as sharp as when pins are used.
I was wondering the same here in glad we can use glue also
These ornaments are just stunning. I'm looking forward to making them all year long to give at Christmas. I love your teaching style - so accurate, calm and relaxing. I've enjoyed watching. So glad I've found your channel. Looking forward to catching up on all the ones I've missed. Keep up the great work. Much appreciated. Kathleen

I love this, this same technique can make a pot holder.
That would be a cute pot holder!! Great idea! - Morgan
@@ShabbyFabrics I like that idea. How would one make pot holders?
Beautiful I have bought them but never seen them made I will be trying this. Thank you so much
We're very happy that this ornament project inspires you. Thanks for commenting! -Michelle.
What size foam ball is required?
This is a 2.5" ball but a 3" ball works as well, you just may need another layer of squares to close any gap at the end +Sandra P.!
I couldn't find balls that small at the store today. I got 3.9" balls. Are they too big or will they work okay? Or should I make the squares a little larger?
Love the video! All I can find is the 2.5” or 3.8” balls. Which do you suggest?
Great project!! Flipping it to get the center is the hardest part!
These are great ornaments to make! Happy that you love them and thanks for your comment! - Abby
Measure the center points on both ends BEFORE you begin ✂📍📏✏✔
That's a great tip! Thank you for sharing that.
How would you do that? (Mrs L)
@@wayneloveday4716 measure the circumference & measure out the distance of both sides dividing that in two 🙂👍
Beautiful. I remember making these in 4H club as a child. Thanks for sharing.
This is such a fun craft! So glad you like the video, thank you for watching! - Morgan
I just realized she is using styrofoam floral balls ( soft and porous), not craft styrofoam balls.( hard ). I guess it’s back to the store !
Oh no! Glad you caught that! I can imagine that craft Styrofoam balls would be much harder than the floral ones! Happy New Year! ~Leah
@@ShabbyFabrics How can you tell the difference? The ball on your workspace is white. I thought floral Styrofoam was green and regular craft Styrofoam was white.
What a grea,t easy to understand tutorial! Thanks, I will be giving this a try.
