Just used your video to make a set of ornaments from my Dad's sports shirts (he was fond of red plaids!) for my Mom's birthday in November. Dad has been gone for 8 years now, but Christmas just isn't the same without him! I think she will treasure the ornaments! Thank you so much for sharing your talents!!!!! God bless you!!!
What a beautiful and thoughtful gift for your Mom, Laurie! 🤗 I'm touched that the tutorial helped you create such meaningful ornaments. Thanks for sharing this special story. Happy quilting! 🌸
I love making these ornaments. Yours turned out very pretty. I did one for myself a couple of years ago using Robert Kaufman Holiday Flourishes fabric.
Almost a yr has went by since you've made this video but I'm just now finding it so I know you'll probably not get the comments but was wondering if the same effect could be achieved with regular styrofoam balls?
My cat got one of these off the tree and proceeded to boobytrap our living room with about 100 pins. Is there anyway to lock the whole thing in place to ensure this wouldn’t happen again?
Oh no, that sounds like quite the adventure with your cat! 😅 To prevent it from happening again, you could try hot gluing the ribbon to securely hold the ornament in place. 🧵🎄

Hi Stacey, i,m watching from NZ. Where are you? Love this ornament. Have started cutting squares. Merry Christmas.
Hello Kristin 👋 I’m from Auckland but live in Florida 🤗 Thanks for watching 🙏
I'm coming to this late and don't have all the right supplies. Will these instructions be on your website later so I can go back to it?
You can just watch the video slower and make notes at the beginning. Use the settings to change the playback speed.
Hi Becky, yes the link is in the description 🤗
I like your tips. I’m not an eye baller.
Thank you, Janet! 😊 I’m glad the tips are helpful-it’s great to have precise methods for non-eye-ballers! ❤️✂️

Hi, I am not sure what you mean since I used styrofoam balls for this tutorial.
@staceyleecreative oh I'm sorry I thought you used the slick ones🤣thanks for getting back to me so quickly
For once, I will be able to participate!!
Yay! Was the time better for you?

@ thanks I’ll try it! it broke my heart to throw away that ornament!
Using pins is exactly what worries me too, gluegun sounds a much safer option for homes with pets and/or children
@ yep, of course my son, who was about 5 at the time, stepped on one of the pins.
@@burnsideart47 I put glue on the end of my pins and then it's really hard to get them out
The wifi in this hospital is horrible. I'll have to watch it later. 🥺
Oh no! How are you doing?
