The pups, for them selves deserve a better presentation - nothing against the composition or Connor, but not the best tonal demo - the rhythm part is covered too much by synths so the clean is not nicely defined - that little that can be heard is nothing special to be honest, nothing other or much different than all all other "drop Q" tuned guitars. If already defined that "drop Q" tuning is your thing, the way one pup should be presented in that segment "James Phillips demonstrates the Bare Knuckle Aftermath humbuckers" is the way to go.
This kind of content on our UA-cam channel is intended to demonstrate the use of our pickups in the context of a musical piece; if you're looking for isolated tones to really get into the nuances of each model, then we have clean soundclips on our website which will serve you much better.
@@BKPickups And what is "use" other than tonal characteristic of a pup within a musical piece? No disrespect but when I mentioned James Phillips I was merely pointing out that the above composition is not reflecting the "Black Hawk" in the best light! Isolated tracks are not a true representation of a pup placement and utilization within a song. How many times did you people hear that someone comes to you and say that the "a pup sounds amazing by himself but within a mix it just disappears?"
This is exactly the same thing - this composition is only a partial glorification (true representation) of an AMAZING pup, and the other part is almost as playing on a no-name pup - synthetic, artificial, no life whatsoever... In short (mho), wrong composition for this pup!
P.S. Luckily, I already had these, so nothing can spoil the tone I remember!
