I recently went through everything on the timeline out of curiosity to see how long in terms of days hours and minutes (seconds made it too complicated so I didn't count those; anything under two minutes is just labeled a minute) the entirty of The MCU is (referencing everything that the Multiverse Saga has allowed to be canon as well). This was also the chronological order and not the release order. I counted mid and end credit scenes, but not ending credits, while I did count opening credits. These are the numbers I came out with (not including _Agatha All Along..._ yet as it just started right before I finished): Phase One Runtime: 118 hours and 26 minutes Phase Two Runtime: 120 hours and 38 minutes Infinity Saga: 424 hours and 16 minutes Phase Three Runtime: 185 hours and 40 minutes Total days: 17 days, 16 hrs, & 16 minutes Phase Four Runtime: 152 hours and 53 minutes Phase Five Runtime: 26 hours and 48 minutes Multiverse Saga: Phase Six Runtime: Total days: Total Runtime: 604 hours and 25 minutes Total days: 25 days, 4 hrs, & 25 minutes I used the excuse of doing this to rewatch absolutely everything. While it may be 25 days. It would take people longer because of their lives. I feel a bit exhaused. It took me four months. But it was fun and finally answered my nagging question of how long *_the entire_* MCU is.
I really think Brave New World or Daredevil (being grounded/political projects) will help everyone’s solidification of the timeline… but it is funny how complicated they’ve made everything… it’s driving us crazy

I compiled a timeline for the Darkhold using information from the Wiki to see how long Agatha would have been without the Darkhold and I think this works. She would have been without it for ~7 years assuming she lost it only a few months before it was found by the Bauers, and got it back soon after Runaways ended. 150 AD Darkhold is created. January 2nd, 2012 Joseph and Lucy Bauer find the Darkhold in the basement of the home's former owner. April 17th - 23rd, 2012 The Darkhold is hidden by Joseph Bauer back where he found it. April 3rd, 2017 Lucy Bauer finds the Darkhold. April 4th, 2017 S.H.I.E.L.D. obtains the Darkhold, Holden Radcliffe and Aida use the book to save Coulson, Fitz, and Reyes. April 13th, 2017 Jeffery Mace orders that the Darkhold must be hidden with the Koenigs. Aida attempts to steal the Darkhold under the programming of Radcliffe. April 14th - 23rd, 2017 The Darkhold is hidden in a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. vault called the Labyrinth. April 24th 2017 The Watchdogs attack the Koenigs looking for the Darkhold, Billy Koenig is captured. Radcliffe locates the Darkhold by studying Billy’s memories. After a skirmish at the Labyrinth, Radcliffe obtains the Darkhold. April 25th - May 12th, 2017 Aida uses the Darkhold to improve and manipulate the Framework. May 12th, 2017 Ghost Rider attacks Aida in an attempt to steal the Darkhold, but the attempt is unsuccessful and Aida escapes with the Darkhold. Anton Ivanov infiltrates the S.H.I.E.L.D. International Inquiry and shows the Darkhold to the committee, proposing to use it against the Inhumans. Coulson, May, Johnson, and Ghost Rider arrive at the S.H.I.E.L.D. International Inquiry and retrieve the Darkhold. Ghost Rider wants to take the Darkhold back to Hell, but Coulson proposes to use it to lure Aida into a trap. The trap is successful and Aida is defeated. Ghost rider takes the Darkhold back to Hell. August 23rd, 2018 Morgan le Fay inducts Nico Minoru into her coven using the Darkhold. Nico casts a spell from the Darkhold in an attempt to save Alex from the Dark Dimension, instead the spell caused Cloak & Dagger to appear. August 26th, 2018 Using knowledge from the Darkhold, Tina prepares a spell to send Morgan le Fay back to the Dark Dimension. Tina joins the battle against le Fay, casting a powerful spell and banishing le Fay from Earth. November 6th, 2023 Agatha Harkness arrives in Westview bringing the Darkhold with her. November 10th, 2023 Wanda Maximoff spots the Darkhold in Agatha’s basement. Harkness reveals the Darkhold to Wanda and explains to her that there is an entire chapter dedicated to the Scarlet Witch in it. Maximoff defeats Harkness and takes the Darkhold December 21st, 2023 Maximoff’s astral form reads from the Darkhold and hears her children calling out for help. November 24th, 2024 Doctor Strange visits Wanda and realizes that she has been corrupted by the Darkhold Maximoff uses the Darkhold to prove to Strange that her children exist in other universes. Maximoff begins to Dreamwalk by reading from the Darkhold. Sara Wolfe stabs the Darkhold with a knife, destroying it. Maximoff is ripped away from her Dreamwalking Maximoff begins to torture students in Kamar-Taj to get Wong to reveal information about the Darkhold. Wong reveals that the Darkhold was a copy, and that the original text is at Mount Wundagore. Maximoff tells Strange that she is going to destroy the Darkhold so that no one else can ever be corrupted by it. She uses her powers to destroy the castle atop Mount Wundagore, completely destroying it, along with every copy of the Darkhold across the multiverse.
Gosh, three years. I can't believe it. How much time is between Wanda vision and MoM. All this time between Wanda's death and the spell breaking is heartbreaking. Nobody found her trapped here for a couple years after Wanda's passing. Teens a huge fan and he was just born and raised in the next town over? Either he needed time to figure out a release invocation or he's lying... And the rest of the town just went with it. They've been stuck in the curse for a week before, but had to watch her go through it for years? 😢 I'm still skeptical about it being October, but I was way off being so cautious and thinking it was close after MoM.
Yeah, you do have to feel bad for Agatha to be trapped for another 2 years after MoM in Wanda's spell. I suspect her neighbors didn't think twice about it as they felt she was just a nice person to have living next door. Well, until she started acting like a detective and walking around in the buff, that is. lol!
I love how these entries are getting easier for us to place, it really is making the Disney+ timeline more reliable than we initially assumed. Also, I think the library card in this show is going to be like the calendar in WandaVision, if the show doesn’t offer any other dates, then October 13 will be the one the wiki will use for placing the events of this show.

I 1000% agree man. Secret Invasion always had that vibe to me that hit more like August leading into September anyways so everything right after that being early fall makes total sense. Weather normally doesn’t mean a ton but in New York December looks like December haha so September fits a lot better. Great video!
Yeah, moving Secret Invasion and The Marvels back to September works really well to fix the inconsistency with Kamala's age, even though it messes up Unity Day, though according to that timeline clues ranking you did a video on, cultural events are lower priority than character dialog. And it makes room for Agatha to be just in time for Halloween, and three years after Wandavision. As for the presidential election post-blip thing that you covered in an earlier video, that's still a pretty convoluted situation, that I'm just going to wait to see if Brave New World reveals any helpful information to figure it out.
As someone who has no idea how America works, I never realised the whole election day issue was a thing. Glad this fixes Kamala’s age though, that was really annoying
Yeah, the election process is long and drawn out in America. It's so much simpler in many other countries around the world. But I do agree, I like the fact that this can solve the Kamala age issue.
I personally would’ve just waited for the series to wrap up before making a decision, but I appreciate the effort. As for my timeline with just these two episodes, I would probably keep SI and TM in November, and then put AAA in a VERY early December with regards to the weather and the fact that nobody has their Christmas decorations up at the moment. It might honestly be concurrent with TM.
Oh, great point… I will continue to update the timeline as we go, but I kind of suspect there won’t be much more information since most of the rest of the series will likely be on the witches Road. But yes, I will definitely update things if something changes. And I think your theories are just as valid at this point… There’s definitely nothing definitive in the show to tell us when it’s happening, beyond the fact that we know it is around three years after WandaVision. Gonna be interesting to see how things continue to unfold as the series progresses!
Yeah I was going to bring up that the “about” 2 years could also mean December, keeping the November ones. But obviously in New Jersey December probably doesn’t look like that, but ig it’s possible. But as for me personally, I do agree with Joof, I like the September dates better. But yeah I feel like Captain America 4 will solidify if that’s true or not (and these next few episodes of Agatha).
Awesome video as always! Quick thought: have you considered the possibility of an overlap between Agatha All Along and The Marvels? The Disney Plus timeline of course has to place them all sequentially, but it has happened in the past that some shows and movies have overlapped with each other. Maybe if we allow for a short overlap here, we can relax the timings a little bit and make it work better
Great question! For me, the biggest question is whether Secret Invasion and The Marvels are in November (based on Unity Day) or in September. If they are in September, it fixes both the Election issue and the issue with Kamala's age. But I think the key is that The Marvels has to be in early September to fix the age issue, so in that case, my guess is there is no overlap with Agatha, as The Marvels seems to take place over a very short period of time. Wild stuff, eh?

I think the timeline could be like this, based on the MCU wiki: Secret Invasion's Timeline - Oct 31-Nov 12, 2026 The Marvels' Timeline - Nov 20-Nov 29, 2026 (Nov 27 - Carol moved to Rambeau house/Nov 29 - Kate Bishop scene) Agatha All Along's Timeline - Nov 27-28, 2026 (Ep. 1-2) (since Disney+ listed Agatha after The Marvels) About the US presidential election, since they probably change election cycle, to fit BNW, they could change the election vote date to late November, like November 24, a Tuesday. About Kamala's 16 years old in The Marvels, I see as a plot hole, after they moved The Marvels to 2026, instead to 2025, like the plot hole of 8 years of Homecoming, etc.
Oops… I can’t believe I forgot to mention that calendar. I mentioned it in my breakdown video, but I should’ve mentioned it here too. If you look really closely, you’ll see a 1940s date on that calendar. So it could still be a timeline hint that it’s November, but it’s definitely not a present day calendar and I’m more took it as an indication that Lilia was really old and therefore had an old calendar. One way we could rectify the election cycle would be that if trump got blipped in 2018 then they could have held an emergency election in November 2018 then one in November 2022 and then finally allowing for the 2026 election.

So, my guess is that the order will be: - The Marvels - Loki, S2 - What If, S2 - DP&W - Agatha - CA: BNW - Thunderbolts I think DD: BA will be late 2025, to happen when the Mayor's race in NYC is happening. We'll get our answer late next month when DP&W hits D+!
I personally don’t see a reason to change Secret Invasion or The Marvels unless we get something in Agatha that’s contradictory and so far we haven’t. I also had the belief the show would be October due to the Fall look in the trailer and it being a Halloween release. However, nothing in the show is pointing specifically to an October time frame. “About 3 Years” still works if it were November 2026 and with Unity Day being the only hard date we’ve had with these projects, I don’t feel the need to contradict it until we for certain have to.

So, I agree, there is nothing in Agatha's series that requires it to be October rather than November....other than my guess that Feige likes shows like this to be in October to match the spooky season. So I don't think Agatha's show has to be Oct, per se. However, I do think both Secret Invasion and The Marvels greatly benefit from being in the August / September timeframe. Now that the Thunderbolts trailer has arrived and gives some strong hints that it is May of 2027 (check out my vid on that trailer, to learn more), I'm all the more convinced that CA: BNW is Feb, 2027 and thus we need an election in Nov, 2026 and so Secret Invasion can't be after the election for Fury's statement to make sense. So I am hoping and praying that SI and TM move to an August / September time frame.
I don’t see anything in Secret Invasion that contradicts there being an election. Fury mentions to Ritson about “one term president” can still work if this is after the election as Ritson could still run again after Ross’s presidency. For now I just prefer Secret Invasion and The Marvels in November and don’t really see anything that says they need to be pushed back into September. I do still think it’s possible Brave New World is later than February given the Spring weather in the trailer but I guess we’ll see.
I do agree that if Marvel decides to not have elections in November, then Secret Invasion being in November isn't an issue. But if the 2026 election is in November, then it would be Nov 3rd, which is actually prior to the Unity Day reference on Nov 4th. So it seems impossible for Secret Invasion to be in November. The Thunderbolts trailer made it even more difficult for Secret Invasion to be in November of 2026, as the new trailer seems to heavily imply that Thunderbolts is in May, 2027 meaning CA: BNW is Feb, 2027. All of those reasons make Secret Invasion problematic in November, so I am hoping that it does indeed move earlier in the year. Hopefully we'll learn more as the timeline continues to unfold.
I don’t see anything that says Secret Invasion would have to be before an election. Even if Ross is elected, Ritson would still be President during the events of Secret Invasion since Ross wouldn’t get inaugurated until January. I also don’t see how Brave New World and Thunderbolts placements would have anything to do with needing to move Secret Invasion and therefore The Marvels.
Fury wouldn't say that Ritson is going to be a one-term president if it was after Ritson already lost. Fury says "You took a bad situation and made it worse. That's real one-term-President stuff." So episode 6 has to be prior to the election.
If Wanda was meant to return it on Oct 13, wouldn't that make it the date she stole it? There 3 years after Oct 13 would be the date or at least around the date. Because logically, she couldn't have stolen it before the return date as she would have just been borrowing it. Though at the same time, there shouldn't be a return date if she out right stole it. Edit: Wait, if Wandavision is in November, this Oct 13 date makes no sense unless Wanda got ahold of the Darkhold a year later.
Great feedback! So, according to the timeline book, Wanda got the Darkhold soon after Wandavision ended. Thus, she was reading it for a year before MoM in November of 2024. The Date Due is indeed odd in her case, since stealing the book wouldn't have made an entry on the card. But I do think the card was meant to be a conceptual representation from a standpoint of who possess the book and thus the due dates weren't meant to be literal, per se.
It seems your prediction for the timeline placement of Agatha All Along proved to be accurate. If the following episodes explicitly mention taking place in October, that would really seal the deal.

I've got a slightly different solution to the Presidents Dilemma. Great work as always but just one small suggestion/observation. Instead of having the emergency election happening after the Blip,I propose we have it because of the Blip. When the Blip happens in 2018, the sitting president (who would have been Trump in both the real world and the MCU) dusted. The governments of the world go into chaos,the borders are brought down as described in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier,for some reason we lose the Mets (or possibly all of professional baseball,I don't know) But in the realignment of government the U.S. needs to have an emergency election. I realize we have a succession plan for who inherits the presidency but now roughly have of the people in the succession plan have also dusted. This kicks off a debate in this country about whether or not we should even keep to the framework of the Constitution. Ultimately the decision is made to preserve and uphold the Constitution but to reassure the people that government is getting a fresh start, they decide to void all government positions and re-elect everybody from scratch. This way they give the impression to the American people "Your input matters." They then elect someone,let's say it's Biden (although they could just as easily have a fictional guy here, Biden is a placeholder). So Biden is elected in the post-Blip election in 2018 instead of 2020,serves his full one term (which we now know is all he's getting anyway) which means that if a future MCU project ever named Biden as an ex-president or refers to him, it still makes sense in the continuity. In 2022,Kamala Harris does not run because she's not loosing Trump,Trump is still dusted and no one has any idea if the Fallen were ever return. Rittson is elected in 2022 which is now 4 years after the newly established election cycle. Still unclear what party Rittson is but I'm going to say Democrat simply because Ross is going to run against him and Ross would have been Secretary of State in the Trump Administration and therefore a Republican. Then in 2023,the Blip ends and all the old problems of government return,borders are reestablished and Secret Invasion happens. Rittson becomes closely associated with the Skrull attacks, the country is divided by those who support his anti-alien rhetoric and those who oppose it and in this climate Ross campaigns against him and beats the one-term president in November 2026, what would natural be the end of the new election cycle. This paves the way for Ross to be the newly elected president in early 2027 as depicted (most likely) in Brave New World.

I love this timeline already, such a great placement. But I think that maybe maybe at the end of the show we will have something else to add to the timeline, like I don't think that we will have seven episodes in the Witches Road (I'm not complaining if we have it) but I think that we will go to the "real world" at some point and we will have some answers and maybe the age of Teen will help us. Based on what I think they are saying the timeline is, it seems that Agatha was only under the detective spell for the last few days, which means the mountain collapsed a few years earlier. Yeah, I thought that was fascinating that the calendar Penguin pulls up shows a November that matches 2019's days of the week, but is placed in 2022. I suspect they did it to keep the days of the week matching what Bruce narrated in the Batman movie. I think I may do an updated timeline vid for Penguin soon.
If you put the Marvels on September 2nd, wouldnt secret invasion also have to be august like guardians? There’s no way all of it happened on september 1st and 2nd and the marvels literally started the day it ended

I scoured them for dates, but didn't have any luck. The evidence bag has a date on it, but it's really hard to make out. Hoping we get something definitive in later episodes!
What if it takes place in December 2026? With the continuity errors, Secret Invasion can be explained by there being too many variables, we don't even know if the election cycle was changed, they could have easily said "you didn't get to vote, deal with it", or they did change the election cycle, and the election month just got pushed forward. With Kamala's age, it's probably the same thing as Homecoming placing itself eight years after Avengers. And there's not a lot of hints at the time frame for the show, for the weather, the detective spell is just like the spell Wanda uses in Doctor Strange 2, and the town is never reliable, like how there is a halloween episode in WandaVision which happens in November 2023. Sure, there is a November calendar in episode 2, so you could say it's in November 2026, but that calendar is for 1947, so for me, it's in December 2026. Also, great video!

100% Agreed! We are thinking alike, as I did the same math. ofc, then the trick is figuring out which month Agatha's show takes place, since that has a big impact on the timing of Secret Invasion and The Marvels.
At this point, any theory is valid, so you could be right. For my part, I admit that I'm going on gut instinct and not on facts, but I really think Marvel wants this to be an October show due to Halloween. The fact that it ends the day before Halloween is a big indicator imo. But that's purely based on the show's release schedule and not on hints in the show, per se. So I'm hoping we get a more definitive in-universe answer as the show moves along.
I found it interesting that Agatha did not remember being under Wanda’s spell for three years, even though the townspeople in wandavision were fully aware of being under their spell. I bet this was because Wanda cast the spell on the town unconsciously but the spell on Agatha deliberately.
Great feedback on the vid. So, I think Agatha was a "nosy neighbor" for the last 3 years and everyone just assumed that's who she was (i.e. they didn't realize she was under Wanda's spell). Then, in the last few days she started the detective routine, which is why I suspect that Rio cast a spell on Agatha to help her break out of Wanda's spell. The neighbors were surprised by her "game" of playing detective, but they just played along. That's my guess as to how it all went down, but it's all just a theory at this point. I hope we learn if it was indeed Rio that cast that spell to make her think she was a detective.
I wondered about that...but since Wanda "checked it out" / "stole it" in November of 2023, then the October due date implies you get to keep it checked out for a long time, it seems? My guess is that the dates were more of a conceptual thing rather than a specific time they are due back, but just a theory on my part. Wonder if we'll ever get that answer?
Yeah, Marvel made it real easy on us with this one, though with Feige being back at full power at Marvel after Iger came back it's to be expected. I assume they'll start fixing some of the timeline issues people may have confusion with because of that as well, so there probably would be a line about the election cycle being messed up or whatever. Also, you did say that Herb saying "about 3 years" means that it happens a little before 3 years in October, though, while I agree it probably is in October, about 3 years could be a little bit after 3 years has passed as well, like it could mean "it's not quite 3 years, but it's close enough" but it could also mean "it's a little after 3 years, but it's not far enough after to really make much of a difference". I'm not entirely sure the Crime Drama thing was caused by Rio or "Teen", I could see it as just being the "TV Hex" Wanda put Agatha in at the end of Wandavision just shifted eras, or in this case genres (from Sitcom to Crime Drama), like it would for Wanda during Wandavision, maybe even caused by Wanda's "death" (Rio does kinda make a big deal about the Hex going haywire after Wanda "died"). Either way, they definitely took advantage of it, and from what Herb said and from what we see in the show it looks like the neighbors were nice enough to play along with Agatha even though she was the only one in the Hex.

As for the detective spell, I assumed at first that it was Wanda's spell. But it seems Wanda left a specific spell of Agatha being the nosey neighbor and not changing genres, per se. Instead, my guess is that the detective spell was an attempt to slowly break Agatha out of Wanda's nosey neighbor spell. Seeing Wanda was dead and the Darkhold was destroyed were important visuals to convince Agatha it was safe to break free from Wanda's original spell. So that's why I think either Rio or Teen cast the new spell on top of Wanda's spell to free her. But just my theory on that. Loved reading all your feedback. Great stuff as always!
@@AbitofEverything4U I get that, and as I said I agree that it probably does take place in October, I'm just someone that also likes to look for all the possibilities and such. It's definitely possible that the detective spell could have been an attempt to break Agatha out of Wanda's spell, though generally in fiction after a spellcaster dies their spells that still exist at the moment of their death do start acting up if not just outright ending altogether, so I'm assuming that probably applies here as well. Since the nosy neighbor was a character tied to the Sitcom based Hex, I would assume that that probably still applies, so that at least from Agatha's perspective the Hex is still going on, so Wanda's death probably caused a glitch in the Matrix, so to speak, and likely started shifting genres for Agatha. I'm also starting to wonder if Wanda's death occurred much closer to Agatha than initially thought since Herb did mention that it's only been in the last few days that she started doing the true crime thing, so either it took a while for the spell to start acting up or Wanda's death is closer to this show than initially thought, or as you said it's Rio and/or "Teen" sort of doubling down on it to break Agatha out.
Oh, I'm totally with you on wanting more facts on the timeline. My October placement is just a guess based on a hunch, so I do hope we get firm facts soon. As for the spell, Wanda died in November 2024 according to the timeline book, so it was about 2 years before the detective spell started happening. I think a key line to keep in mind is in Infinity War when Dr. Strange said "You'll find...removing a dead man's spell... troublesome". This indicated that even after a spellcaster dies, their spell lives on. So I think Wanda's spell continued on for a few years and then Rio sought to break her out via a new "detective" spell. Great question...no, there is no particular reason I'm thinking that will be the order, just a gut feeling that they'll place DP&W closer to Loki S2. However, I'd be fine if they put DP&W after Agatha, as I suspect the two aren't connected, per se.

Ok. So, Agatha is not purple she came from blue but stole/was given red. Combo purple. I think the same applies to the green witch, stole/given/swapped out a black heart possibly betrayed by Agatha or her ancestor (my theory, the man who operated on Tony's heart in the cave). All the rainbow witches, including Dorothy, have given away there hearts to Mephisto to get a child/prize/power. But he tricked them into betraying each other hence the spell on top of a spell etc., etc. They are maybe trying now to help one another since Wanda figured it out due to Vision's computing skills (A.I.). Very cool theories! Man, I just love how they have written WandaVision and Agatha as a puzzle box that we get to slowly open up and learn the answers to the mysteries buried inside. I like the idea of Mephisto being behind each of the witches power / prize. Even Alice's mom may have given up Alice to Mephisto before she vanished on the Witches' Road. Fascinating. Yeah, it's very odd to me that Marvel would continue to ignore the irl dates for cultural events of significance. Unity Day is a very important day in Russian history, so to use it and then ignore when it actually occurs would be odd. But it does seem to be what happened, strangely. As for CA 4, my guess is it is Feb, 2027, but if it turns out to be Feb, 2025 I won't complain at all, as that fits really nicely!

Looks really good. You might change I am Groot season 1 to only have 5 episodes instead of 8, you might move Shang Chi to be before falcon and the winter soldier because they finally fixed that on Disney+, and it’s really tricky where to place Deadpool & Wolverine. It happens after Loki season 2, which technically speaking that starts after Loki season 1 but ends after the marvels. So that’s why Deadpool & Wolverine has to occur later in the timeline and thus it doesn’t match the MCU timeline which is in 2026 at that point. My assumption is paradox goes back to 2024 to grab Deadpool, since they can jump to any point in time at the TVA.
My question is that technically Loki S2 and Deadpool and Wolverine would be after Agatha All Along, right? I ask this narratively as both take place outside of time.

It makes more sense to place Agatha All Along during October 2027 just to move the timeline forward. I still think November 2026 for Secret Invasion & The Marvels, I mean they say during Secret Invasion "The attack is planned for tomorrow. Unity Day" and we know that Unity Day takes place Wednesday November 4, 2026. By the way we don't actually know that there is a presidential election on November 3, 2026. I think that Marvel Studios will keep the next presidential election happening on Tuesday November 7, 2028 that means Captain America will take place April 2029. I think Biden was president of the United States just like real life, but we know that during Black Panther Wakanda Forever which place during May 2025 there is a news ticker that says, "President Ritson signed trade pact with New Asgard" and we know that this year the presidential election is on Tuesday November 5 so that means Biden & Ritson campaigned throughout the year, and Ritson won the 2024 presidential election, so that would place Ritson ending his one term in the year 2028 and Ross takes the presidential election that same year. The weather during Secret Invasion & The Marvels works better for November, I mean it is still early into the month and probably still a good time to wear a short-sleeved shirt. We do actually know that Kamala Khan is 17 during the events of The Marvels, Nick Fury even says "Kamala's not gonna graduate from high school." Everything just fits better if we place Agatha All Along during October 2027. Those are my thoughts. Keep up the good work!

My hope is that by saying "about 3 years" Herb means not quite 3 years and thus is meaning October, 2026 for Agatha. I like that better, because for Ross to be a new president in Feb, 2027, he needed to win in Nov, 2026 and so Secret Invasion needs to be earlier...such as Aug, 2026 since he hasn't lost the election by the end of Secret Invasion or Fury wouldn't have said what he said.

Yeah, I can’t believe I forgot to mention that. I mentioned it in my breakdown of the two episodes, but that calendar is actually from the 1940s. If you look really closely at it and zoom in on it, it is not a 2026 calendar. So I don’t think that’s trying to indicate the series is happening in November, but it’s really trying to indicate that Lilia loves old things. Let me know what you think. One question I have about Kamala’s age is when you are a junior in high school, like she is in the series, you are 16 turning 17 and your senior year you are 17 turning 18, so if she is a senior in high school wouldn’t she be 17 turning 18 not 16 turning 17?
Great question! New Jersey Statute states that students who will be age 5 by October 31 can be admitted to kindergarten. So if Kamala has a mid-September birthday, then she could’ve entered kindergarten at age 4, turning 5 in mid-September in Kindergarten. If that were the case, then she would turn 16 in mid-September of her junior year and then she would turn 17 in mid-September of her senior year. I definitely agree that that is not the norm, but it does look like her birthday falls perfectly for her to be relatively young as a senior.

Herb said she was on a true crime kick for just the last week or so. Something's changed recently. Until then we only have Wanda's spell to go off, so the majority of the time she'd just be a pleasant but nosy neighbor archetype from a sitcom. She'd live out her life like a normal west view resident, unaware that she never was one. I bet the town just didn't want adverse side effects from messing with her programming so they played along with it.
Sorry for my delayed reply to your comment. Looks like @mickymcmillan813 did a great job of answering. I think Agatha was a "nosy neighbor" for the last 3 years and everyone just assumed that's who she was (i.e. they didn't realize she was under Wanda's spell). Then, in the last few days she started the detective routine, which is why I suspect that Rio cast a spell on Agatha to help her break out of Wanda's spell. The neighbors were surprised by her "game" of playing detective, but they just played along. That's my guess as to how it all went down.

Here is my placements: Late July 2025 - Quantumania Mid Sept to Mid Oct 2025 - Ms. Marvel Early/Mid Nov 2025 - Secret Invasion Mid/Late Nov 2025 - The Marvels Late Dec 2025 - GotG Holiday Special Early March 2026 - GotG Vol.3 Awhile After Quantumania/Mid March 2026 - Deadpool & Wolverine Late Oct/Early Nov 2026 - Agatha All Along (EPS 1 &2 So far) Unconfirmed/ Estimated Placements: Late Mar/Early April 2026 - Captain America: Brave New World Summer 2026 - Thunderbolts* Summer/Fall 2026 - Ironheart S01 I’ve discovered a pattern that the films USUALLY follow each other in chronological order although there are a few exceptions to this rule (E.g. Ant-Man and the Wasp,Captain Marvel,Black Widow,Eternals,Quantumania to name a few) I’ll give you an example about what I mean. So cast your mind back to Spring of 2022 Multiverse of Madness was just released recently while the first season of Moon Knight was just wrapping up. Around that time we were pointing at a March 2025 date for MoM still putting it before Moon Knight until we were told otherwise by the Disney+ timeline a few months later. Regardless of what we the fans thought at the time to where Disney decided to place it on the timeline it didn’t change the fact that chronologically speaking Moon knight still occurs after MoM. Late Nov 2024 - MoM Late April to Early May 2025 - Moon Knight So you add the next movie Thor Love and Thunder and then the next Black Panther Wakanda Forever and this rule is then immediately challenged by Thor 4 being set in Oct 2025 and then BP WF in May 2025. Although in defence of this I’m willing to bet Marvel Studios we’re still clueless as to where to go from endgame and the Pandemic screwing with there release date schedule and therefore overall timeline as marvel doesn’t like releasing stuff that might spoil plots or characters from other projects that aren’t released yet (see what happened to Ironheart) But while this was going on on the Film side of Marvel Studios the tv side was hitting us with She-Hulk and Ms.Marvel both of which were set after the films that came out close to their weekly episode releases. Early May 2025 - BPWF Summer 2025 - She-hulk And Early/Mid May 2025 (Later Retconed to Mid/Late Oct 2025) - Thor 4 Mid Sept to Mid Oct 2025 - Ms. Marvel Both films were released AFTER their accompanying series were wrapping up the season and were both set before their sister series. (I know alot of you will have questions or doubts about my placements or reasoning but I’m running out of space lol so just reply to this comment and I’ll answer as many as I can)
Wow...cool theories on the timeline placements. Thanks for sharing all that. I do understand your skepticism of the D+ timeline, but I think it's Marvel's go to for telling us what the timeline is. The timeline book perfectly aligned to the D+ timeline for Phases 1-4 (other than Shang Chi, which was relocated when the timeline book arrived). And Brad Winderbaum recently stated that the D+ timeline is their primary way of canonizing the timeline. So I think we can trust the D+ timeline as being an accurate reflection of the MCU timeline. But that said, I respect that you still aren't sure if you can trust it. So we'll have to wait and see how things pan out as more entries get added. I think we'll learn alot when CA: BNW hits the timeline. Anyway, thanks so much for all your awesome feedback. This might be a crazy theory, but Agatha All Along could be set in fall 2027. Here are my thoughts. What if the ending scene of WandaVision where Wanda is studying the Darkhold isn't immediately after the events of the series, but closer to when Multiverse of Madness takes place? Libraries usually allow you to borrow books for about 3 weeks, and if Wanda is due to return it on October 13th, she would have stolen it in late September. This would have to be September 2024, after WandaVision and before Multiverse of Madness. This means Wanda only had the Darkhold for 2 months. Dottie the librarian said that the book was stolen 'three years ago', which would push Agatha All Along to at least September 2027. Herb does say that Agatha has been in Westview for 'about three years', which still works, but it is much closer to 4 years since the events of WandaVision. Dottie's daughter could be 11 or 12 years old, both of which work with this time frame depending on her birthday. Having Agatha All Along in September/October 2027 does stretch a few of the 'three years' references, but if you focus on when the Darkhold was stolen by Wanda, and the fact that Dottie specifically says 'three years ago' instead of 'about three years', she might be the more accurate time frame to go from. It also means Secret Invasion and The Marvels can keep their November 2026 time, instead of being pushed back to September. Might be too crazy, but I kinda like it. If I've missed anything obvious that clearly debunks this theory, please let me know!

So, the only thing that might make that theory more difficult is the timeline book places Wanda studying the Darkhold in Fall, 2023. So it seems she stole the Darkhold not long after putting the spell on Agatha. ig they could retcon that entry in the timeline book, but my guess is that Marvel will keep it happening right after the end of WandaVision. Otherwise, I think your theory could work. I do hope that after they exit the Witches' Road in the final few episodes that we get another timeline hint. That would be amazing. Yeah, I was torn on whether to make my prediction on the timeline yet, but I suspect most of the rest of the series will be set on the Witches' Road itself. But maybe we'll get a last helpful hint in the finale. Fingers crossed!
Everything you say is logical, as always! But Agatha lost the Darkhold in November 2023, and it was destroyed in November 2024, which means that Rio waited about 2-3 years before coming to find Agatha for revenge... Do you have any theories on this?
Fantastic question. I've wondered about that myself. Perhaps Wanda's spell masked Agatha so that Rio didn't find her until a few years of searching. Same with Teen. Otherwise, I'm not sure why they waited so long. Perhaps we'll learn that answer as things proceed along, but for now, that's my guess.
Yeah, I think that makes the most sense. I hope they give us a little more backstory as the episodes go along, but that will probably be my head canon for now.
My guess was that after a special election in 2023, that they counted the rest of 2023 as Ritson's first year in office, which made it 4 yaers. But I'm now wondering if instead of a special election after the 5-year blip ended if there was a special election right after the blip happened. If Trump was blipped, then there are rules of succession for choosing a new president, but with so many people blipped, perhaps Congress decided to hold a new election. If so, then the new president (let's say Biden) would run from 2019 to 2022. Then, Ritson would be from 2023 to 2026. And then, voila, we have an election in 2026. That might be how they made it all work!
I just don't like the Blip messing up the election cycle. I know that it's a fictional universe so it doesn't matter, but the Summer Olympics for Tokyo were delayed a year to 2021, but in Paris, they just took place, they weren't pushed back to 2025. The Winter Olympics in Beijing also occurred in 2022, they weren't forced to 2023, and that's a world organization just doing things for fun for the most part. I just don't see the US Government allowing the election cycle to be offset. I could see maybe during the Blip either whoever was currently President being allowed to stay longer because of the peculiarity of the situation, or an emergency election taking place just after it began, and even one after the return of the population, but whoever gets elected only gets to serve until the next election cycle of four years as scheduled, so 2024 and 2028. I much prefer the theory that Ross hulking out would put Ritson into office, but if that's not how the timeline's going to work (which it likely won't), then him hulking out after Ritson's removal might create another election issue to then even things back out to 2028 eventually. Agatha All Along likely won't affect anything regarding Presidential elections, it's really how everything's just been a jumbled mess with the timeline because of the 5 and a half year gap. The show's placement after the Marvels really changes nothing on that front, but it just bothers me because it's like us abolishing February 29th because it's too hard to remember how it works when it's really quite simple, and if you shifted it two years (moreso three), it would make it a lot more difficult.
Great commentary! So I do like your idea of a new election right after the blip. I mean, the constitution has provisions for the line of succession, but the founding fathers never considered losing 1/2 of the population. So perhaps that's what impacted the election cycle. And I do agree that I really love a Feb, 2025 placement for CA: BNW, as that would fit so nicely. The most important date is when does Multiverse of Madness take place because the important question is: how much time has passed since Wanda’s death and the start of the series? Like exactly WHEN does Rio become aware that Wanda is dead & uses that in her True Crime spell to free Agatha from Wanda’s hex? Remember the dead body that we see at the “murder scene” is clearly supposed to be Wanda. So again, when does Multiverse of Madness take place and how much time passes from the events of that to the start of Agatha All Along? I can’t believe you didn’t mention Multiverse of Madness at all….
Good point...I should have mentioned MoM's timing. The timeline book confirmed that it is Nov, 2024. So that means there was a 2 year gap between Wanda's death (as well as the Darkhold's destruction) and Rio finally coming to town to cast her spell. I am surprised by that large gap, but perhaps it was hard for Rio to detect Agatha due to the nosey neighbor spell. Or perhaps it took Rio 2 years to figure out how to break Wanda's spell, as Wanda was the Scarlet Witch and thus her magic is incredibly powerful. That's my best guess as to why it took 2 years for Rio to arrive.
Neither Rio nor Teen cast the true crime spell on Agatha. It seems pretty clear that Wanda's death (or perhaps the Darkhold's destruction) altered the spell she was already under, even if it took a couple of years. Rio and Teen were only able to pull her out because Wanda is "dead". I think it would have made more sense to put Agatha All Along in 2024.
Excellent feedback! So I assumed at first that it was Wanda's spell slowly fading. But that was when I thought the Agatha show would be shortly after Wanda's death and the Darkhold's destruction in MoM, which takes place in November of 2024. However, the show is placed in late 2026 (October is my guess). So it would seem odd that Wanda's spell took nearly 2 years to fall apart like that, since Herb said it's only been a few days since Agatha has been playing detective. Instead, it seemed that the detective spell was an attempt to slowly break Agatha out of Wanda's nosy neighbor spell. Seeing Wanda was dead and the Darkhold was destroyed were important visuals to convince Agatha it was safe to break free from Wanda's original spell. So that's why I think either Rio or Teen cast the new spell on top of Wanda's spell to free her. But just my theory on that. Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts on it. Yeah, I agree...I really like the idea that the blip messed with the election cycle. It gives more weight to the importance of that massive event. Also, let me know your thoughts on a slightly different theory. What if Trump was actually blipped and there was a special election in November of that year. If Trump was blipped, then there are rules of succession for choosing a new president, but with so many people blipped, perhaps Congress decided to hold a new election. If so, then the new president (let's say Biden) would run from 2019 to 2022. Then, Ritson would be from 2023 to 2026. And then, voila, we have an election in 2026. That actually makes everything work out to 4 year terms, but I'm bummed as that schedule avoids having a new election after the blip. But maybe it was felt that this was a more stabilizing choice? Man, I'm really torn on what I like better.

Yeah, I do agree that the Phase 4 and 5 timelines are alot trickier than some of the Infinity Saga timelines. But that said, Phase 1's timeline was actually retconned multiple times. Iron Man was in 2008, then 2009, then 2010 and then back to 2008, as an example. And Fury's big week was in 2010, then 2011 and then back to 2010. And ofc we had the infamous "8 years later" in Homecoming. So they did have some issues in the Infinity Saga. But I still agree with you that the timeline for the Multiverse Saga was been pretty tough to pin down at times.

I recently went through everything on the timeline out of curiosity to see how long in terms of days hours and minutes (seconds made it too complicated so I didn't count those; anything under two minutes is just labeled a minute) the entirty of The MCU is (referencing everything that the Multiverse Saga has allowed to be canon as well). This was also the chronological order and not the release order. I counted mid and end credit scenes, but not ending credits, while I did count opening credits. These are the numbers I came out with (not including _Agatha All Along..._ yet as it just started right before I finished):
Phase One Runtime: 118 hours and 26 minutes
Phase Two Runtime: 120 hours and 38 minutes Infinity Saga: 424 hours and 16 minutes
Phase Three Runtime: 185 hours and 40 minutes Total days: 17 days, 16 hrs, & 16 minutes
Phase Four Runtime: 152 hours and 53 minutes
Phase Five Runtime: 26 hours and 48 minutes Multiverse Saga:

I compiled a timeline for the Darkhold using information from the Wiki to see how long Agatha would have been without the Darkhold and I think this works. She would have been without it for ~7 years assuming she lost it only a few months before it was found by the Bauers, and got it back soon after Runaways ended.

Gosh, three years. I can't believe it. How much time is between Wanda vision and MoM. All this time between Wanda's death and the spell breaking is heartbreaking. Nobody found her trapped here for a couple years after Wanda's passing. Teens a huge fan and he was just born and raised in the next town over? Either he needed time to figure out a release invocation or he's lying... And the rest of the town just went with it. They've been stuck in the curse for a week before, but had to watch her go through it for years? 😢 I'm still skeptical about it being October, but I was way off being so cautious and thinking it was close after MoM.
Yeah, you do have to feel bad for Agatha to be trapped for another 2 years after MoM in Wanda's spell. I suspect her neighbors didn't think twice about it as they felt she was just a nice person to have living next door. Well, until she started acting like a detective and walking around in the buff, that is. lol!
I love how these entries are getting easier for us to place, it really is making the Disney+ timeline more reliable than we initially assumed. Also, I think the library card in this show is going to be like the calendar in WandaVision, if the show doesn’t offer any other dates, then October 13 will be the one the wiki will use for placing the events of this show.

I 1000% agree man. Secret Invasion always had that vibe to me that hit more like August leading into September anyways so everything right after that being early fall makes total sense. Yeah, moving Secret Invasion and The Marvels back to September works really well to fix the inconsistency with Kamala's age, even though it messes up Unity Day, though according to that timeline clues ranking you did a video on, cultural events are lower priority than character dialog. And it makes room for Agatha to be just in time for Halloween, and three years after Wandavision.
As for the presidential election post-blip thing that you covered in an earlier video, that's still a pretty convoluted situation, that I'm just going to wait to see if Brave New World reveals any helpful information to figure it out.

Yeah, the election process is long and drawn out in America. It's so much simpler in many other countries around the world. But I do agree, I like the fact that this can solve the Kamala age issue.
I personally would’ve just waited for the series to wrap up before making a decision, but I appreciate the effort. As for my timeline with just these two episodes, I would probably keep SI and TM in November, and then put AAA in a VERY early December with regards to the weather and the fact that nobody has their Christmas decorations up at the moment. It might honestly be concurrent with TM.
Oh, great point… I will continue to update the timeline as we go, but I kind of suspect there won’t be much more information since most of the rest of the series will likely be on the witches Road. But yes, I will definitely update things if something changes. And I think your theories are just as valid at this point… There’s definitely nothing definitive in the show to tell us when it’s happening, beyond the fact that we know it is around three years after WandaVision. Gonna be interesting to see how things continue to unfold as the series progresses!
Yeah I was going to bring up that the “about” 2 years could also mean December, keeping the November ones. But obviously in New Jersey December probably doesn’t look like that, but ig it’s possible. Awesome video as always! Quick thought: have you considered the possibility of an overlap between Agatha All Along and The Marvels? The Disney Plus timeline of course has to place them all sequentially, but it has happened in the past that some shows and movies have overlapped with each other. Maybe if we allow for a short overlap here, we can relax the timings a little bit and make it work better
Great question! For me, the biggest question is whether Secret Invasion and The Marvels are in November (based on Unity Day) or in September. If they are in September, it fixes both the Election issue and the issue with Kamala's age. But I think the key is that The Marvels has to be in early September to fix the age issue, so in that case, my guess is there is no overlap with Agatha, as The Marvels seems to take place over a very short period of time. Wild stuff, eh?

About Kamala's 16 years old in The Marvels, I see as a plot hole, after they moved The Marvels to 2026, instead to 2025, like the plot hole of 8 years of Homecoming, etc.
Oops… I can’t believe I forgot to mention that calendar. I mentioned it in my breakdown video, but I should’ve mentioned it here too. If you look really closely, you’ll see a 1940s date on that calendar. So it could still be a timeline hint that it’s November, but it’s definitely not a present day calendar and I’m more took it as an indication that Lilia was really old and therefore had an old calendar. One way we could rectify the election cycle would be that if trump got blipped in 2018 then they could have held an emergency election in November 2018 then one in November 2022 and then finally allowing for the 2026 election.

I personally don’t see a reason to change Secret Invasion or The Marvels unless we get something in Agatha that’s contradictory and so far we haven’t. I also had the belief the show would be October due to the Fall look in the trailer and it being a Halloween release. However, nothing in the show is pointing specifically to an October time frame. “About 3 Years” still works if it were November 2026 and with Unity Day being the only hard date we’ve had with these projects, I don’t feel the need to contradict it until we for certain have to.
Great feedback! So, I agree, there is nothing in Agatha's series that requires it to be October rather than November....other than my guess that Feige likes shows like this to be in October to match the spooky season. So I don't think Agatha's show has to be Oct, per se.
However, I do think both Secret Invasion and The Marvels greatly benefit from being in the August / September timeframe. Now that the Thunderbolts trailer has arrived and gives some strong hints that it is May of 2027 (check out my vid on that trailer, to learn more), I'm all the more convinced that CA: BNW is Feb, 2027 and thus we need an election in Nov, 2026 and so Secret Invasion can't be after the election for Fury's statement to make sense. So I am hoping and praying that SI and TM move to an August / September time frame.
I don’t see anything in Secret Invasion that contradicts there being an election. Fury mentions to Ritson about “one term president” can still work if this is after the election as Ritson could still run again after Ross’s presidency. For now I just prefer Secret Invasion and The Marvels in November and don’t really see anything that says they need to be pushed back into September. I do still think it’s possible Brave New World is later than February given the Spring weather in the trailer but I guess we’ll see.
I do agree that if Marvel decides to not have elections in November, then Secret Invasion being in November isn't an issue. But if the 2026 election is in November, then it would be Nov 3rd, which is actually prior to the Unity Day reference on Nov 4th. So it seems impossible for Secret Invasion to be in November.
The Thunderbolts trailer made it even more difficult for Secret Invasion to be in November of 2026, as the new trailer seems to heavily imply that Thunderbolts is in May, 2027 meaning CA: BNW is Feb, 2027. All of those reasons make Secret Invasion problematic in November, so I am hoping that it does indeed move earlier in the year. Hopefully we'll learn more as the timeline continues to unfold.
I don’t see anything that says Secret Invasion would have to be before an election. Even if Ross is elected, Ritson would still be President during the events of Secret Invasion since Ross wouldn’t get inaugurated until January. I also don’t see how Brave New World and Thunderbolts placements would have anything to do with needing to move Secret Invasion and therefore The Marvels.
Fury wouldn't say that Ritson is going to be a one-term president if it was after Ritson already lost. Fury says "You took a bad situation and made it worse. That's real one-term-President stuff." So episode 6 has to be prior to the election.
If Wanda was meant to return it on Oct 13, wouldn't that make it the date she stole it? There 3 years after Oct 13 would be the date or at least around the date. Because logically, she couldn't have stolen it before the return date as she would have just been borrowing it. Though at the same time, there shouldn't be a return date if she out right stole it.
Edit: Wait, if Wandavision is in November, this Oct 13 date makes no sense unless Wanda got ahold of the Darkhold a year later.
Great feedback! So, according to the timeline book, Wanda got the Darkhold soon after Wandavision ended. Thus, she was reading it for a year before MoM in November of 2024. The Date Due is indeed odd in her case, since stealing the book wouldn't have made an entry on the card. But I do think the card was meant to be a conceptual representation from a standpoint of who possess the book and thus the due dates weren't meant to be literal, per se.
It seems your prediction for the timeline placement of Agatha All Along proved to be accurate. If the following episodes explicitly mention taking place in October, that would really seal the deal.

I've got a slightly different solution to the Presidents Dilemma. Great work as always but just one small suggestion/observation. Instead of having the emergency election happening after the Blip,I propose we have it because of the Blip. When the Blip happens in 2018, the sitting president (who would have been Trump in both the real world and the MCU) dusted. The governments of the world go into chaos,the borders are brought down as described in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier,for some reason we lose the Mets (or possibly all of professional baseball,I don't know) But in the realignment of government the U.S. needs to have an emergency election. I realize we have a succession plan for who inherits the presidency but now roughly have of the people in the succession plan have also dusted. This kicks off a debate in this country about whether or not we should even keep to the framework of the Constitution. Ultimately the decision is made to preserve and uphold the Constitution but to reassure the people that government is getting a fresh start, they decide to void all government positions and re-elect everybody from scratch. This way they give the impression to the American people "Your input matters." They then elect someone,let's say it's Biden (although they could just as easily have a fictional guy here, Biden is a placeholder). So Biden is elected in the post-Blip election in 2018 instead of 2020,serves his full one term (which we now know is all he's getting anyway) which means that if a future MCU project ever named Biden as an ex-president or refers to him, it still makes sense in the continuity. In 2022,Kamala Harris does not run because she's not loosing Trump,Trump is still dusted and no one has any idea if the Fallen were ever return. Rittson is elected in 2022 which is now 4 years after the newly established election cycle. Still unclear what party Rittson is but I'm going to say Democrat simply because Ross is going to run against him and Ross would have been Secretary of State in the Trump Administration and therefore a Republican. Then in 2023,the Blip ends and all the old problems of government return,borders are reestablished and Secret Invasion happens. Rittson becomes closely associated with the Skrull attacks, the country is divided by those who support his anti-alien rhetoric and those who oppose it and in this climate Ross campaigns against him and beats the one-term president in November 2026, what would natural be the end of the new election cycle. This paves the way for Ross to be the newly elected president in early 2027 as depicted (most likely) in Brave New World.

I love this timeline already, such a great placement. But I think that maybe maybe at the end of the show we will have something else to add to the timeline, like I don't think that we will have seven episodes in the Witches Road (I'm not complaining if we have it) but I think that we will go to the "real world" at some point and we will have some answers and maybe the age of Teen will help us. Based on what I think they are saying the timeline is, it seems that Agatha was only under the detective spell for the last few days, which means the mountain collapsed a few years earlier. Yeah, I thought that was fascinating that the calendar Penguin pulls up shows a November that matches 2019's days of the week, but is placed in 2022. I suspect they did it to keep the days of the week matching what Bruce narrated in the Batman movie. I think I may do an updated timeline vid for Penguin soon.

What if it takes place in December 2026? With the continuity errors, Secret Invasion can be explained by there being too many variables, we don't even know if the election cycle was changed, they could have easily said "you didn't get to vote, deal with it", or they did change the election cycle, and the election month just got pushed forward. With Kamala's age, it's probably the same thing as Homecoming placing itself eight years after Avengers. And there's not a lot of hints at the time frame for the show, for the weather, the detective spell is just like the spell Wanda uses in Doctor Strange 2, and the town is never reliable, like how there is a halloween episode in WandaVision which happens in November 2023. Sure, there is a November calendar in episode 2, so you could say it's in November 2026, but that calendar is for 1947, so for me, it's in December 2026. Also, great video!

To find out when agatha timeline takes place you have to figure out when wandavision takes place in the time line book then add roughly 3 years after
100% Agreed! We are thinking alike, as I did the same math. ofc, then the trick is figuring out which month Agatha's show takes place, since that has a big impact on the timing of Secret Invasion and The Marvels.

At this point, any theory is valid, so you could be right. For my part, I admit that I'm going on gut instinct and not on facts, but I really think Marvel wants this to be an October show due to Halloween. The fact that it ends the day before Halloween is a big indicator imo. But that's purely based on the show's release schedule and not on hints in the show, per se. So I'm hoping we get a more definitive in-universe answer as the show moves along.
I found it interesting that Agatha did not remember being under Wanda’s spell for three years, even though the townspeople in wandavision were fully aware of being under their spell. I bet this was because Wanda cast the spell on the town unconsciously but the spell on Agatha deliberately.
Great feedback on the vid. So, I think Agatha was a "nosy neighbor" for the last 3 years and everyone just assumed that's who she was (i.e. they didn't realize she was under Wanda's spell). Then, in the last few days she started the detective routine, which is why I suspect that Rio cast a spell on Agatha to help her break out of Wanda's spell. The neighbors were surprised by her "game" of playing detective, but they just played along. That's my guess as to how it all went down, but it's all just a theory at this point. I hope we learn if it was indeed Rio that cast that spell to make her think she was a detective.

I wondered about that...but since Wanda "checked it out" / "stole it" in November of 2023, then the October due date implies you get to keep it checked out for a long time, it seems? My guess is that the dates were more of a conceptual thing rather than a specific time they are due back, but just a theory on my part. Wonder if we'll ever get that answer?

Yeah, Marvel made it real easy on us with this one, though with Feige being back at full power at Marvel after Iger came back it's to be expected. I assume they'll start fixing some of the timeline issues people may have confusion with because of that as well, so there probably would be a line about the election cycle being messed up or whatever. Also, you did say that Herb saying "about 3 years" means that it happens a little before 3 years in October, though, while I agree it probably is in October, about 3 years could be a little bit after 3 years has passed as well, like it could mean "it's not quite 3 years, but it's close enough" but it could also mean "it's a little after 3 years, but it's not far enough after to really make much of a difference".
I'm not entirely sure the Crime Drama thing was caused by Rio or "Teen", I could see it as just being the "TV Hex" Wanda put Agatha in at the end of Wandavision just shifted eras, or in this case genres (from Sitcom to Crime Drama), like it would for Wanda during Wandavision, maybe even caused by Wanda's "death" (Rio does kinda make a big deal about the Hex going haywire after Wanda "died"). Either way, they definitely took advantage of it, and from what Herb said and from what we see in the show it looks like the neighbors were nice enough to play along with Agatha even though she was the only one in the Hex.
Excellent feedback! I agree, Herb's statement could imply before or after November. So it could be October or it could be December. I admit that i'm relying on my hunch that Feige wants the show to be in the "spooky month", but I do hope we get some positive confirmation at some point.
As for the detective spell, I assumed at first that it was Wanda's spell. But it seems Wanda left a specific spell of Agatha being the nosey neighbor and not changing genres, per se. Instead, my guess is that the detective spell was an attempt to slowly break Agatha out of Wanda's nosey neighbor spell. Seeing Wanda was dead and the Darkhold was destroyed were important visuals to convince Agatha it was safe to break free from Wanda's original spell. So that's why I think either Rio or Teen cast the new spell on top of Wanda's spell to free her. But just my theory on that.

@@AbitofEverything4U I get that, and as I said I agree that it probably does take place in October, I'm just someone that also likes to look for all the possibilities and such.
It's definitely possible that the detective spell could have been an attempt to break Agatha out of Wanda's spell, though generally in fiction after a spellcaster dies their spells that still exist at the moment of their death do start acting up if not just outright ending altogether, so I'm assuming that probably applies here as well. Since the nosy neighbor was a character tied to the Sitcom based Hex, I would assume that that probably still applies, so that at least from Agatha's perspective the Hex is still going on, so Wanda's death probably caused a glitch in the Matrix, so to speak, and likely started shifting genres for Agatha. I'm also starting to wonder if Wanda's death occurred much closer to Agatha than initially thought since Herb did mention that it's only been in the last few days that she started doing the true crime thing, so either it took a while for the spell to start acting up or Wanda's death is closer to this show than initially thought, or as you said it's Rio and/or "Teen" sort of doubling down on it to break Agatha out.
Oh, I'm totally with you on wanting more facts on the timeline. My October placement is just a guess based on a hunch, so I do hope we get firm facts soon.
As for the spell, Wanda died in November 2024 according to the timeline book, so it was about 2 years before the detective spell started happening. I think a key line to keep in mind is in Infinity War when Dr. Strange said "You'll find...removing a dead man's spell... troublesome". This indicated that even after a spellcaster dies, their spell lives on. So I think Wanda's spell continued on for a few years and then Rio sought to break her out via a new "detective" spell. But hopefully we'll get some confirmation on that in time.

I think the same applies to the green witch, stole/given/swapped out a black heart possibly betrayed by Agatha or her ancestor (my theory, the man who operated on Tony's heart in the cave).
All the rainbow witches, including Dorothy, have given away there hearts to Mephisto to get a child/prize/power.
But he tricked them into betraying each other hence the spell on top of a spell etc., etc.
They are maybe trying now to help one another since Wanda figured it out due to Vision's computing skills (A.I.).

Very cool theories! Man, I just love how they have written WandaVision and Agatha as a puzzle box that we get to slowly open up and learn the answers to the mysteries buried inside. I like the idea of Mephisto being behind each of the witches power / prize. Even Alice's mom may have given up Alice to Mephisto before she vanished on the Witches' Road. Fascinating. Yeah, it's very odd to me that Marvel would continue to ignore the irl dates for cultural events of significance. Unity Day is a very important day in Russian history, so to use it and then ignore when it actually occurs would be odd. But it does seem to be what happened, strangely.
As for CA 4, my guess is it is Feb, 2027, but if it turns out to be Feb, 2025 I won't complain at all, as that fits really nicely!

Looks really good. You might change I am Groot season 1 to only have 5 episodes instead of 8, you might move Shang Chi to be before falcon and the winter soldier because they finally fixed that on Disney+, and it’s really tricky where to place Deadpool & Wolverine. It happens after Loki season 2, which technically speaking that starts after Loki season 1 but ends after the marvels. So that’s why Deadpool & Wolverine has to occur later in the timeline and thus it doesn’t match the MCU timeline which is in 2026 at that point. My assumption is paradox goes back to 2024 to grab Deadpool, since they can jump to any point in time at the TVA.

Loki yes. Deadpool and Wolverine are in a completely separate universe at the end so it would depend on the X-Men universe.

It makes more sense to place Agatha All Along during October 2027 just to move the timeline forward. Unity Day" and we know that Unity Day takes place Wednesday November 4, 2026. By the way we don't actually know that there is a presidential election on November 3, 2026. I think that Marvel Studios will keep the next presidential election happening on Tuesday November 7, 2028 that means Captain America will take place April 2029. I think Biden was president of the United States just like real life, but we know that during Black Panther Wakanda Forever which place during May 2025 there is a news ticker that says, "President Ritson signed trade pact with New Asgard" and we know that this year the presidential election is on Tuesday November 5 so that means Biden & Ritson campaigned throughout the year, and Ritson won the 2024 presidential election, so that would place Ritson ending his one term in the year 2028 and Ross takes the presidential election that same year. The weather during Secret Invasion & The Marvels works better for November, I mean it is still early into the month and probably still a good time to wear a short-sleeved shirt. We do actually know that Kamala Khan is 17 during the events of The Marvels, Nick Fury even says "Kamala's not gonna graduate from high school." Everything just fits better if we place Agatha All Along during October 2027. Those are my thoughts. Keep up the good work!

My hope is that by saying "about 3 years" Herb means not quite 3 years and thus is meaning October, 2026 for Agatha. I like that better, because for Ross to be a new president in Feb, 2027, he needed to win in Nov, 2026 and so Secret Invasion needs to be earlier...such as Aug, 2026 since he hasn't lost the election by the end of Secret Invasion or Fury wouldn't have said what he said.

Yeah, I can’t believe I forgot to mention that. I mentioned it in my breakdown of the two episodes, but that calendar is actually from the 1940s. If you look really closely at it and zoom in on it, it is not a 2026 calendar. One question I have about Kamala’s age is when you are a junior in high school, like she is in the series, you are 16 turning 17 and your senior year you are 17 turning 18, so if she is a senior in high school wouldn’t she be 17 turning 18 not 16 turning 17?
Great question! New Jersey Statute states that students who will be age 5 by October 31 can be admitted to kindergarten. So if Kamala has a mid-September birthday, then she could’ve entered kindergarten at age 4, turning 5 in mid-September in Kindergarten. If that were the case, then she would turn 16 in mid-September of her junior year and then she would turn 17 in mid-September of her senior year. I definitely agree that that is not the norm, but it does look like her birthday falls perfectly for her to be relatively young as a senior.

Herb said she was on a true crime kick for just the last week or so. Something's changed recently. Until then we only have Wanda's spell to go off, so the majority of the time she'd just be a pleasant but nosy neighbor archetype from a sitcom. She'd live out her life like a normal west view resident, unaware that she never was one. I bet the town just didn't want adverse side effects from messing with her programming so they played along with it.
Sorry for my delayed reply to your comment. Looks like @mickymcmillan813 did a great job of answering. I think Agatha was a "nosy neighbor" for the last 3 years and everyone just assumed that's who she was (i.e. they didn't realize she was under Wanda's spell). Then, in the last few days she started the detective routine, which is why I suspect that Rio cast a spell on Agatha to help her break out of Wanda's spell. The neighbors were surprised by her "game" of playing detective, but they just played along. That's my guess as to how it all went down.

I’ve discovered a pattern that the films USUALLY follow each other in chronological order although there are a few exceptions to this rule (E.g. Ant-Man and the Wasp,Captain Marvel,Black Widow,Eternals,Quantumania to name a few)
I’ll give you an example about what I mean.
So cast your mind back to Spring of 2022 Multiverse of Madness was just released recently while the first season of Moon Knight was just wrapping up. Around that time we were pointing at a March 2025 date for MoM still putting it before Moon Knight until we were told otherwise by the Disney+ timeline a few months later. Regardless of what we the fans thought at the time to where Disney decided to place it on the timeline it didn’t change the fact that chronologically speaking Moon knight still occurs after MoM.
Late Nov 2024 - MoM
Late April to Early May 2025 - Moon Knight
So you add the next movie Thor Love and Thunder and then the next Black Panther Wakanda Forever and this rule is then immediately challenged by Thor 4 being set in Oct 2025 and then BP WF in May 2025. Although in defence of this I’m willing to bet Marvel Studios we’re still clueless as to where to go from endgame and the Pandemic screwing with there release date schedule and therefore overall timeline as marvel doesn’t like releasing stuff that might spoil plots or characters from other projects that aren’t released yet (see what happened to Ironheart)
But while this was going on on the Film side of Marvel Studios the tv side was hitting us with She-Hulk and Ms.Marvel both of which were set after the films that came out close to their weekly episode releases.
Early May 2025 - BPWF
Summer 2025 - She-hulk
And
Early/Mid May 2025 (Later Retconed to Mid/Late Oct 2025) - Thor 4
Mid Sept to Mid Oct 2025 - Ms. Marvel
Both films were released AFTER their accompanying series were wrapping up the season and were both set before their sister series.
(I know alot of you will have questions or doubts about my placements or reasoning but I’m running out of space lol so just reply to this comment and I’ll answer as many as I can)
Wow...cool theories on the timeline placements. Thanks for sharing all that. I do understand your skepticism of the D+ timeline, but I think it's Marvel's go to for telling us what the timeline is. The timeline book perfectly aligned to the D+ timeline for Phases 1-4 (other than Shang Chi, which was relocated when the timeline book arrived).
And Brad Winderbaum recently stated that the D+ timeline is their primary way of canonizing the timeline. So I think we can trust the D+ timeline as being an accurate reflection of the MCU timeline. But that said, I respect that you still aren't sure if you can trust it. So we'll have to wait and see how things pan out as more entries get added. I think we'll learn alot when CA: BNW hits the timeline.

Agatha meets fantastic four in the 60s
This might be a crazy theory, but Agatha All Along could be set in fall 2027. Here are my thoughts.
What if the ending scene of WandaVision where Wanda is studying the Darkhold isn't immediately after the events of the series, but closer to when Multiverse of Madness takes place?
Libraries usually allow you to borrow books for about 3 weeks, and if Wanda is due to return it on October 13th, she would have stolen it in late September. This would have to be September 2024, after WandaVision and before Multiverse of Madness. This means Wanda only had the Darkhold for 2 months.
Dottie the librarian said that the book was stolen 'three years ago', which would push Agatha All Along to at least September 2027. Herb does say that Agatha has been in Westview for 'about three years', which still works, but it is much closer to 4 years since the events of WandaVision. Dottie's daughter could be 11 or 12 years old, both of which work with this time frame depending on her birthday.
Having Agatha All Along in September/October 2027 does stretch a few of the 'three years' references, but if you focus on when the Darkhold was stolen by Wanda, and the fact that Dottie specifically says 'three years ago' instead of 'about three years', she might be the more accurate time frame to go from.
It also means Secret Invasion and The Marvels can keep their November 2026 time, instead of being pushed back to September.
Might be too crazy, but I kinda like it. If I've missed anything obvious that clearly debunks this theory, please let me know!
Thanks for sharing your timeline theory. Very interesting approach! So, the only thing that might make that theory more difficult is the timeline book places Wanda studying the Darkhold in Fall, 2023. So it seems she stole the Darkhold not long after putting the spell on Agatha.
ig they could retcon that entry in the timeline book, but my guess is that Marvel will keep it happening right after the end of WandaVision. Otherwise, I think your theory could work. I do hope that after they exit the Witches' Road in the final few episodes that we get another timeline hint. That would be amazing.

Ahh I forgot the timeline book mentioned that. That must mean that the Westview library allows you to borrow, or steal, books for at least 11 months (Nov 2023 -> Oct 13th 2024).
We really need a definitive month or year to better place exactly where AAA takes place, but for now it definitely seems like late Fall 2026

I think DD: BA will be late 2025, to happen when the Mayor's race in NYC is happening.
DP&W occurs in universe 10005, but chronologically it happens after Loki S2, so that's why I think they will put it there. We'll find out for sure when DP&W drops on D+ late next month.

Everything you say is logical, as always! But Agatha lost the Darkhold in November 2023, and it was destroyed in November 2024, which means that Rio waited about 2-3 years before coming to find Agatha for revenge... Do you have any theories on this?
Fantastic question. I've wondered about that myself. Perhaps Wanda's spell masked Agatha so that Rio didn't find her until a few years of searching. Same with Teen. Otherwise, I'm not sure why they waited so long. Perhaps we'll learn that answer as things proceed along, but for now, that's my guess.

My guess was that after a special election in 2023, that they counted the rest of 2023 as Ritson's first year in office, which made it 4 yaers. But I'm now wondering if instead of a special election after the 5-year blip ended if there was a special election right after the blip happened. If Trump was blipped, then there are rules of succession for choosing a new president, but with so many people blipped, perhaps Congress decided to hold a new election. If so, then the new president (let's say Biden) would run from 2019 to 2022. Then, Ritson would be from 2023 to 2026. And then, voila, we have an election in 2026. That might be how they made it all work!
I just don't like the Blip messing up the election cycle. I know that it's a fictional universe so it doesn't matter, but the Summer Olympics for Tokyo were delayed a year to 2021, but in Paris, they just took place, they weren't pushed back to 2025. The Winter Olympics in Beijing also occurred in 2022, they weren't forced to 2023, and that's a world organization just doing things for fun for the most part. I just don't see the US Government allowing the election cycle to be offset. I could see maybe during the Blip either whoever was currently President being allowed to stay longer because of the peculiarity of the situation, or an emergency election taking place just after it began, and even one after the return of the population, but whoever gets elected only gets to serve until the next election cycle of four years as scheduled, so 2024 and 2028. I much prefer the theory that Ross hulking out would put Ritson into office, but if that's not how the timeline's going to work (which it likely won't), then him hulking out after Ritson's removal might create another election issue to then even things back out to 2028 eventually. Agatha All Along likely won't affect anything regarding Presidential elections, it's really how everything's just been a jumbled mess with the timeline because of the 5 and a half year gap. The show's placement after the Marvels really changes nothing on that front, but it just bothers me because it's like us abolishing February 29th because it's too hard to remember how it works when it's really quite simple, and if you shifted it two years (moreso three), it would make it a lot more difficult.
Great commentary! So I do like your idea of a new election right after the blip. I mean, the constitution has provisions for the line of succession, but the founding fathers never considered losing 1/2 of the population. So perhaps that's what impacted the election cycle.
And I do agree that I really love a Feb, 2025 placement for CA: BNW, as that would fit so nicely. But I suspect it will be placed in Feb, 2027, so that means we likely have to find a reason for an election in Nov, 2026. Can't wait to see where CA: BNW fits into all of this to know what we have to tackle to make it all fit!
With regards to Agatha All Along, the dates of Secret Invasion and The Marvels is kinda irrelevant. The most important date is when does Multiverse of Madness take place because the important question is: how much time has passed since Wanda’s death and the start of the series? Like exactly WHEN does Rio become aware that Wanda is dead & uses that in her True Crime spell to free Agatha from Wanda’s hex? Remember the dead body that we see at the “murder scene” is clearly supposed to be Wanda. So again, when does Multiverse of Madness take place and how much time passes from the events of that to the start of Agatha All Along? I can’t believe you didn’t mention Multiverse of Madness at all….
Good point...I should have mentioned MoM's timing. The timeline book confirmed that it is Nov, 2024. So that means there was a 2 year gap between Wanda's death (as well as the Darkhold's destruction) and Rio finally coming to town to cast her spell. I am surprised by that large gap, but perhaps it was hard for Rio to detect Agatha due to the nosey neighbor spell. Or perhaps it took Rio 2 years to figure out how to break Wanda's spell, as Wanda was the Scarlet Witch and thus her magic is incredibly powerful. That's my best guess as to why it took 2 years for Rio to arrive.
Neither Rio nor Teen cast the true crime spell on Agatha. It seems pretty clear that Wanda's death (or perhaps the Darkhold's destruction) altered the spell she was already under, even if it took a couple of years. Rio and Teen were only able to pull her out because Wanda is "dead". I think it would have made more sense to put Agatha All Along in 2024.
Excellent feedback! So I assumed at first that it was Wanda's spell slowly fading. But that was when I thought the Agatha show would be shortly after Wanda's
death and the Darkhold's destruction in MoM, which takes place in November of 2024. However, the show is placed in late 2026 (October is my guess). So it would seem odd that Wanda's spell took nearly 2 years to fall apart like that, since Herb said it's only been a few days since Agatha has been playing detective.
Instead, it seemed that the detective spell was an attempt to slowly break Agatha out of Wanda's nosy neighbor spell. Seeing Wanda was dead and the Darkhold was destroyed were important visuals to convince Agatha it was safe to break free from Wanda's original spell. So that's why I think either Rio or Teen cast the new spell on top of Wanda's spell to free her. But just my theory on that. Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts on it. I love the election-blip theory. I can't imagine Americans just letting it slide that 50% of the people weren't in the last election. Think of how little people came to vote considering how bummed everyone were in 2023

Also, let me know your thoughts on a slightly different theory. What if Trump was actually blipped and there was a special election in November of that year. If Trump was blipped, then there are rules of succession for choosing a new president, but with so many people blipped, perhaps Congress decided to hold a new election. It's really frustrating how they are managing the timeline now. The Infinity Saga timeline is so clear and cohesive. Post-Endgame everything is a huge mess
Yeah, I do agree that the Phase 4 and 5 timelines are alot trickier than some of the Infinity Saga timelines. But that said, Phase 1's timeline was actually retconned multiple times. Iron Man was in 2008, then 2009, then 2010 and then back to 2008, as an example. And Fury's big week was in 2010, then 2011 and then back to 2010. And ofc we had the infamous "8 years later" in Homecoming. So they did have some issues in the Infinity Saga. But I still agree with you that the timeline for the Multiverse Saga was been pretty tough to pin down at times.
