Also how's the driveability with that cam and is a stall converter required? Would it be good for towing? I don't tow alot usually once or twice a month hauling scrap metal to the scrap yard. I've been thinking of going with the comp cams 35-324-8 cam. I'm going to build my 5.0 into a twin turbo 347 stroker eventually. By the way your truck sounds awesome. I straight piped mine also true dual 2 1/4 pipes with 6inch tips and flow-tech long tube headers.

How's the driveability and fuel economy with the 4.11s? I've thinking about putting 4.11 posi-trac in my 95 F-150 5.0. it's bone stock except for the headers and true dual catless straight piped exhaust. I use it for towing anywhere from 5,000 to 8,300 pounds of scrap metal I am eventually going to fully build the motor and twin turbo it.

With a 30in. tire, I'm doing 2600rpm at 80mph. If you drive over 85mph now, then I wouldn't recommend regearing because the speed limiter is taken from the transmission, so with a lower gear the transmission is spinning faster, and the computer thinks it's going 100mph.

@@michaelwall784 alright thanks for the info. I still run the stock 235/75/15 tires. The original owner swapped the factory 3.55 posi-trac for 3.08 open diff. At 80 I'm at 1,900rpm. It's sluggish and has no get up and go till it gets over 3,700 rpm and when towing I have to manually shift it cause it bogs way down and won't go anywhere if it's in drive. Now with the 3.08s I can get 19mpg while doing 90mph on a 1,200 mile round trip and the limiters are bypassed on my truck and I've hit 127mph. I like that it's fast but I'd rather it be a little slower and not have to rev the crap out of it while towing is why I'm looking at changing the gears.

How did you remove the speed limiter?
