You said your using 1.6 rockers what length pushrods are you using I have the same cam and everyone is saying run 1.5s with 6.350 5/16 pushrods but I’d rather keep stock rockers so just curious what you did for the pushrods
Hm I just went and put my rockers and pushrods in today and I couldn’t get the lash out of them no matter that I did so I was just curious I have same cam you do stock rockers and stock pushrod length so i must be doing something wrong lol
Driveability is excellent. I ruined the stock trans, I put a Fairbanks shift kit in it (full comp) level 3, the shifts would chirp the tires with moderate throttle, the stock trans only had 90,000 on it when I put the kit in it lasted for a year. What had happened was the diode clutch failed and split the diode in half causing the forward clutch to not engage because the splines on the clutches were froze up due to the split. So now it has a Fairbanks (street & strip) level 2 shift kit, 2300 stall converter, and is rated for ((460hp)).(I'm not going to say the brand, but if you do some research you can figure it out). With 31in. tires, 4.11 in the back, and weighting 4300lbs. it runs well for a little 302.
That sounds killer !
What all did you do to your truck? I have a 92 obs that I want to be cammed and get it more response and power.
💪💯
So I have a 1996 f-150 5.8 what cam do y’all recommend to get also I am looking for something really Aggressive
Did you have to put a stall converter on or was a stock one fine? If so what’s a good one. Plan on running this cam on my 5.8
I have a 2500 stall now, it really needs a 3300 to 3800. I have 4.11 with a 30in tall tire moving 4300lbs.
Meannnnnnn

It's that running on the stock tune? Or did you convert it to mass air
It's mass air from the factory
@@michaelwall784 gotcha. Did you have it tuned
@@greatoutdoorsman2009 no, I bought a megasquirt and tuned it myself.
What engine is in it and what cam?
It's a stock 5.0, ported and polished e7 heads. Comp cams 35-440-8.
How's driveability? Stock auto trans?
