Since getting update 2024.14.6 yesterday I've been testing the auto-park function here in the UK. (MYLR with USS and FSD "capability" ) I've selected "Tesla vision" in the autopilot menu but it seems that the restrictive UK/EU rules have partly disabled things. The car ignores all parallel and right-angle slots but strangely offers to self park when roughly lined up for reverse parking- and it works reasonably well (although I could do things faster myself!)

Is it legal to use Self-Driving cars in the USA? What happens when the Self-Driving car is involved in a car accident? Will insurance companies treat the Self-Driving car the same as normal/non-Self-Driving cars?
"Is it legal to use Self-Driving cars in the USA?" Some states have passed legislation that explicitly makes the use of self-driving cars legal, although the conditions in each state vary.
Even if a car is "self-driving" the driver is still ultimately responsible for supervising its behavior and correcting/preventing its mistakes. Any mistake the car makes, the driver will be liable for if it causes damage. Not a lawyer, but anyone who _is_ a lawyer will tell you the same thing.

You should try over the air software update, that should do.
Right, this is only part of the Enhanced Autopilot, right? Not the included package that all Tesla's have?

What FSD version is this? 12.3.1?
He just used Enhanced Autopilot.

@Teslapage no. Mine is 2022 m3p, my Mothers is 2023 y. Her car shows exactly like urs. Maybe 2023 model without sensors will show more like that.
Would like to see how this works in parking decks where some spaces have cement columns really close to the parking line and a parked car one spot over. Can Auto Park squeeze in without hitting the column?

As it improves you could get out at the front of a store and tell the car to go find a paring space. At that point who cares how long it takes to go find a spot. Summon would work the same way, as your wrapping up checking out at a hotel you hit summon and your car would be waiting for you in front of the hotel.
@@tecwzrd it slows the whole world down. It's useful for 90 year olds who can't drive or walk.
