Ashwagandha is the best supplement you can buy. Please don't spread false information. This is the herb everyone should have. Safest and easily available. Very healthy. It keeps your thyroid and blood sugar under control and BP too
Loved your confirmation on vegan protein powder & pre-work out. I have such a calmer day with Ashwaghanda, but have a co-worker with anxiety that had to go to the hospital so I understand it does not work for others. ❤❤❤
I started taking ashwaganda to reduce anxiety. I didnt see any effect on anxiety but was hugely surprised to see a significant reduction in inflammation. Did more research and found that ashwaganda is also anti-inflammatory... so I am now a fan.
Good morning autumn thank you so much for all the info that you put into your videos. I have found this channel so helpful that I am changing my body within the last two weeks. I told my primary PCP what I was doing the intermediate fasting and I told her that I was watching your channel and she asked me for the information for her, her mom and her sister. They love your channel and I love how the benefit and I have seen in the last two weeks. Please keep us informed with all your great knowledge. Thanks again.
Love all your videos they are so educational. I find Ashwaganda to be a game changer while I was in menopause. Without it I cannot sleep. I never even heard of it until I hit menopause and somebody recommended it
That's awesome! Yeah, I personally didn't find much use in it, but my husband lately has been *loving* it. So each person likely has a much different response! :)
Great content! I and several family members and co-workers have taken the ashwaghanda ksm-66 (the purer standardized form) with great results. We have used it short term to deal with times of high anxiety.
Hi! My protein powder uses pure monk fruit extract (zero erythritol). You can find it here: www.autumnellenutrition.com/product-page/vanilla-whey-protein-powder-1
Hi Autumn! SUCH a helpful video, thank you!!! This is SO random, but do you have an opinion on the new scale everyone is promoting...I think it's called FitTrack? I'm so interested to see what you think! :) You look sooo pretty in this video!! :) Have a great day! THank you so much for all you do!! Kellie
Hi Kellie! I'm assuming it's fairly similar to the arboleaf (which is what I have at home) from my initial research of it. The at-home scales that monitor body fat/muscle mass are better than traditional scales, BUT I still recommend finding an InBody if you can get your hands on it. You can usually find them at gyms.
I tried vegan protein powder and bought a container. However, the flavour was not there and it tasted like mold. As in, super dry, weird flavour, and such. I now buy regular whey protein powder. Not because I need it (I have enough macro's) but I do enjoy a nice shake every now and then.
This is really helpful. Thank you. I still take fish oil each day, but gave up other vitamins. Although I do ge that medicinal vit c IV when I begin to feel sick 🙃
What are your thoughts on protein bars? I’ve found some decent ones, but then the sugar is 10grams with an additional 10 g of added sugar OR the company uses sugar alcohols…. But I’d love to find an easy grab n go protein snack and being a teacher , it’s hard to leave the classroom to go grab a snack you need to keep refrigerated.
thanks, useful and confirms where I am at with all of this. Except multivitamins - I take them when I am on the road, rather than carrying all of the usual supplements individually.
One of your videos introduced me to L-Theanine. It did not change anything in my sleep - That I noticed - BUT when I take it and I am a little panicky, I can feel it muting the anxiety. I gave it to my buddy who has extreme work stress and he said he can literally feel it getting less bad (not go away) within a short time. NOW here is the best effect of L-Theanine though. I am an older (50+) actor. I started acting 3 years ago and my biggest fear was to not remember my lines. L-Theanine in combination with coffee makes my mind so clear and my brain all of a sudden stores the lines better. This has helped me tremendously. Memory is a muscle and I can now remember lines but in the beginning I would have been lost without L-Theanine and coffee. I did some googling around and L-Theanine looses its effects if you take it all the time. Like with many things. So I only take it if I have a critical role coming up or a lot of pages to learn or in those rare cases where I panic a little (life happens).
That's awesome! Yes, definitely loved l-theanine and used it quite a bit in the past. It certainly helped me through some rough times, but thankfully I don't have much use for it anymore.
Definitely interested in your thoughts on Reds and Greens too! I’ve been making your smoothies to break my fasts and I’ve incorporated a little (half a scoop each so not much) and occasionally do a mix in the night before bed of one scoop/serving each with a scoop of magnesium. I personally have been using Titan Nutritions reds/greens/protein isolate (the whey didn’t sit well with me and I’ve liked the isolate so far). Any thoughts on those specifically? I used 1st phorms magnesium but I’m out now.
Happy to report that none of these supplements are part of my regimen, apart from the daily multi-vit. As an OMAD, i do this for the trace metals, copper, zinc, etc. Hope the pregnancy is going well!
We always look forward your posts! My friends love whey protein.... Can u clear this out for us...lately we learned Whey ranks as high insulin spike, higher than sugar....is this really correct since it's so low in carbs?
I love your channel and I’ve been following the intermittent fasting and I dropped 2 more pounds again and I’m so relieved to see my scale move again. This feels like really slow progress for me compared to what I used to do but I’m trying to be patient and not crash diet to get back to my goal weight. I was wondering what apps everyone uses or has had good experience with. I’m using my fitness pal paid with MapMyWalk right now but it won’t allow me to log days when unless I meet the calorie minimum which is frustrating. It won’t allow you to log fasts longer than 16 hours. I know how to do it myself but I like having an app.
Great video. I don’t take any supplements at all. I personally believe that most of them are fake. Especially the muscle builder and “fat burners.” Pretty much anything with an FDA disclaimer on it. Thanks for the video. I’ll be down 55 lbs by this weekend.
I agree 100% on the FDA disclaimer 👍The pharmaceutical companies have so much money invested that there is no way the FDA is unbiased. Congrats on the 55 pounds by the way! Great job 💕
I’m thankful to the nurse-practioner who refused to give me pills to treat anxiety, back when I was chronically anxious. It allowed me to discover my actual cure. I think your honesty about things like CBD becoming a crutch is very levelheaded. I have seen a pot prescription used (in the extreme) as a crutch, and while I hate to think how much worse the person in question would have been acting without being able to get away and self-medicate, it was not something that did anything for her root issues. Very sad.
My only advice is to see a professional and to use practitioner only supplements. The most of the supplements you purchase in a supermarket or pharmacy aren't worth the money you pay for them, as they're filled with excipient and lesser active components. I use some of those you listed but they were prescribed by a professional and they're practitioner only products.
Apart from the time a doctor suggested me to take probiotics, I've never consumed it again. I don't know if it helped or not, to be fair. I consume sheep milk yoghurt and I am satisfied. Pre-workout, in my opinion, is overrated; as for electrolytes too many in the market full of sugar. Ashwagandha, the KSM-66 one, is one I saw benefits. I don't trust mushrooms; I am quite a stressful person and l-theanine is one I trust and for more l-theanine I consume tea either green or any herbal. I haven't tried CBD or plant-based proteins, especially when it comes to soy products, I am not a fan at all.
I too noticed nothing out of ashwagandha - except that it tastes, and smells nasty. although, to be fair, I forget to take it, and somewhere I read that you need to take it regularly to notice difference, but I have adhd, regularly is not a word in my vocabulary
I haven't seen any information on this, however this might be referencing sodium and kidneys in general (not specifically LMNT). You can check out my recent video with my thoughts on salt intake here: ua-cam.com/video/AZegOXbNjgg/v-deo.html

Video coming soon! :)
@AutumnBates hi! We LOVE your channel! Did you happen make a video about how to make the immunity shots you mentioned? Thanks!!
You mentioned SIBO. I’d love to hear you talk more about this.
Thanks for sharing Autumn!

Love LMNT. Have a great weekend Autumn. 👍❤️🇨🇦
Do you watch Heartland? 🐎
Redundant or unnecessary for you not everyone else, Love your videos keep them coming!!

That's awesome! My husband loves it too, but it oddly had zero effect on me.
Good morning, Autumn! Does the grapefruit LMNT break a fast? Thanks for this amazing info!
Good morning! The grapefruit LMNT would break a fast so I recommend having it during the eating window.
@@AutumnBates Thank you!

Autumn have you tried Ultima? I’ve heard of it but never tried it so I wanted your opinion on it. I do use and LOVE LMNT
Hi Maria! I haven't taste tested it before, but the electrolyte levels are much lower in Ultima so it's not one that I have used in the past.

Hello Autumn, was waiting to hear if Creatine made the list.
would appreciate your take on it some other time.
Stay tuned! It's on my list :)
I would love to do the LMNT but 1000mg of sodium way to much for me. I have high blood pressure usually only have 1000mg of sodium a day

LMNT recently stopped shipping internationally.
I know, such a bummer :(
I use CBD for pain with my fibromyalgia. I have to take methylcobalamin because my body doesn't absorb it from my gut.

So does eating sugar free candy it causes lots of gas.
Probably because of the sugar alcohol in it 😬
