      Ashwagandha is the best supplement you can buy. Please don't spread false information. This is the herb everyone should have. Safest and easily available. Very healthy. It keeps your thyroid and blood sugar under control and BP too

    Loved your confirmation on vegan protein powder & pre-work out. I have such a calmer day with Ashwaghanda, but have a co-worker with anxiety that had to go to the hospital so I understand it does not work for others. ❤❤❤

    I started taking ashwaganda to reduce anxiety. I didnt see any effect on anxiety but was hugely surprised to see a significant reduction in inflammation. Did more research and found that ashwaganda is also anti-inflammatory... so I am now a fan.

      @AutumnBates  Рік тому +2

      Hi Kellie! I'm assuming it's fairly similar to the arboleaf (which is what I have at home) from my initial research of it. The at-home scales that monitor body fat/muscle mass are better than traditional scales, BUT I still recommend finding an InBody if you can get your hands on it. You can usually find them at gyms.

    I tried vegan protein powder and bought a container. However, the flavour was not there and it tasted like mold. As in, super dry, weird flavour, and such. I now buy regular whey protein powder. Not because I need it (I have enough macro's) but I do enjoy a nice shake every now and then.

    What are your thoughts on protein bars? I’ve found some decent ones, but then the sugar is 10grams with an additional 10 g of added sugar OR the company uses sugar alcohols…. But I’d love to find an easy grab n go protein snack and being a teacher , it’s hard to leave the classroom to go grab a snack you need to keep refrigerated.

    One of your videos introduced me to L-Theanine. It did not change anything in my sleep - That I noticed - BUT when I take it and I am a little panicky, I can feel it muting the anxiety. I gave it to my buddy who has extreme work stress and he said he can literally feel it getting less bad (not go away) within a short time.
    NOW here is the best effect of L-Theanine though. I am an older (50+) actor. I started acting 3 years ago and my biggest fear was to not remember my lines. L-Theanine in combination with coffee makes my mind so clear and my brain all of a sudden stores the lines better. This has helped me tremendously. Memory is a muscle and I can now remember lines but in the beginning I would have been lost without L-Theanine and coffee. I did some googling around and L-Theanine looses its effects if you take it all the time. Like with many things. So I only take it if I have a critical role coming up or a lot of pages to learn or in those rare cases where I panic a little (life happens).

    • @AutumnBates
      @AutumnBates  Рік тому +1

      That's awesome! Yes, definitely loved l-theanine and used it quite a bit in the past. It certainly helped me through some rough times, but thankfully I don't have much use for it anymore.

    Definitely interested in your thoughts on Reds and Greens too! I’ve been making your smoothies to break my fasts and I’ve incorporated a little (half a scoop each so not much) and occasionally do a mix in the night before bed of one scoop/serving each with a scoop of magnesium. I personally have been using Titan Nutritions reds/greens/protein isolate (the whey didn’t sit well with me and I’ve liked the isolate so far). Any thoughts on those specifically? I used 1st phorms magnesium but I’m out now.

    I love your channel and I’ve been following the intermittent fasting and I dropped 2 more pounds again and I’m so relieved to see my scale move again. This feels like really slow progress for me compared to what I used to do but I’m trying to be patient and not crash diet to get back to my goal weight. I was wondering what apps everyone uses or has had good experience with. I’m using my fitness pal paid with MapMyWalk right now but it won’t allow me to log days when unless I meet the calorie minimum which is frustrating. It won’t allow you to log fasts longer than 16 hours. I know how to do it myself but I like having an app.

    I’m thankful to the nurse-practioner who refused to give me pills to treat anxiety, back when I was chronically anxious. It allowed me to discover my actual cure. I think your honesty about things like CBD becoming a crutch is very levelheaded. I have seen a pot prescription used (in the extreme) as a crutch, and while I hate to think how much worse the person in question would have been acting without being able to get away and self-medicate, it was not something that did anything for her root issues. Very sad.

    My only advice is to see a professional and to use practitioner only supplements. The most of the supplements you purchase in a supermarket or pharmacy aren't worth the money you pay for them, as they're filled with excipient and lesser active components. I use some of those you listed but they were prescribed by a professional and they're practitioner only products.

    Apart from the time a doctor suggested me to take probiotics, I've never consumed it again. I don't know if it helped or not, to be fair. I consume sheep milk yoghurt and I am satisfied. Pre-workout, in my opinion, is overrated; as for electrolytes too many in the market full of sugar. Ashwagandha, the KSM-66 one, is one I saw benefits. I don't trust mushrooms; I am quite a stressful person and l-theanine is one I trust and for more l-theanine I consume tea either green or any herbal. I haven't tried CBD or plant-based proteins, especially when it comes to soy products, I am not a fan at all.

  • @mimosveta
    @mimosveta Рік тому

    I too noticed nothing out of ashwagandha - except that it tastes, and smells nasty. although, to be fair, I forget to take it, and somewhere I read that you need to take it regularly to notice difference, but I have adhd, regularly is not a word in my vocabulary

      Catholicism was created by Constantine in the year 390AD, I was born and raised catholic, left to have a personal relationship with Jesus… all the sacraments were made made rules and do not require anyone’s forgiveness, especially from a a priest, but to confess your sins to God, and be truly repentant for them. Research more the history of the Roman Catholic Church and your eyes will be open!
