Two things that really helped me improve anxiety and sleep have been: eliminating strong caffeinated drinks (like coffee) and practicing mindfulness meditation every day for at least 10 minutes (I've been using the book "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels and I've been liking its simplicity). Cutting out coffee was super difficult but so necessary because it was throwing off my digestion and causing my body unnecessary anxiety.
me too! i cut it out in January this year and its done me the world of good. i sleep better, the jitters have gone, my stomach feels better and my anxiety levels have dropped
Make homemade quinine: 3 cups each lemon & grapefruit chopped up & low boiled with a gallon of water for 2 hours. Let cool completely, strain & pour into mason jars and store in freezer until needed. Thaw when needed & drink a shot 4-5 times/day when sick.
Thank you for these videos! The world of supplements can be very daunting. Spending money on and putting things into my body that I’m not truly confident if it’s the best brand or quality or even totally understanding what it’s doing for me causes me to just not explore. Extremely helpful. ❤
Thanks, Autumn. I have that cod oil in my cabinet for several months, but haven’t tried it yet… hope it’s palatable with 🍋 in it. Please do a video on your oregano oil home concoction for when feeling sick. I’d love to use that next time I’m ill.
Enjoyed that very much! Egg yolks are rich in K2 also. Approximately 50-142 mcg per yolk according to my research from a couple of sources. I have 5 eggs a day and take a (10,000 IU) D3 supplement with it.
This is a great video Autumn. Im definitely checking out the liver oil stuff🥴 hopefully it's not as yucky as I remember taking as a kid. My grandma used to make me take that stuff as a kid so yeah, not a fan. I'm looking forward to the benefits though. Thanks so much 😊
I recommend Acerola Powder as a natural Vitamin C supplement that has the entire complex. It helps better for gum problems for example. Ascorbic acid might deplete the Co-Factors of Vitamin C such as Copper.
Magnesium is a key supplement and people shouldn't only take it for sleep. As for vitamin D3+K2 everyone should take it and by taking it with K2 there is no fear of toxicity compared to when you supplement plain D3. It is also important for women since you are more prone to osteoporosis; K2 plays the role for where calcium ends in the body. Vitamin C, what can you say? One of the powerful antioxidants and energy; what more can you ask? I use dry oregano as a spice a lot; I had no idea oregano oil as a supplement existed. Autumn has an extra reason to be healthy :). Bless you.
Oregano oil is one of the best oils you can use to prevent sickness and to knock sickness out. Clove oil is another one to look into the benefits, as well as cinnamon and frankincense. Those are my go-tos. And DoTerra brand sources them best so they're more expensive but definitely top grade!
Hello! I take calcium for my bones Citracal wth D3 says 25 mcg. I’m 18 years post hysterectomy. Last year and this year I’m struggling with the shorter days. I just feel so sleepy once sun goes down. Do you think more D3 would help? I notice no K in it.
Autumn any supplements you’d recommend for 20 year old high triglycerides but good LDL and HDL? She’s fit not overweight at all in great general health otherwise. Fish oil? Cod oil?
Are you not worried about taking cod liver oil while pregnant? Many doctors advise discontinuing vitamin A (retinol) intake when pregnant, as it’s thought to cause birth defects. What are your thoughts? Very curious. Thank you!
The KetoChow electrolyte drops are amazing too. Not expensive like lmnt either. Easy peasy, just a couple of dropper full in my morning water is all you need for the day😊
from everything I've heard about vitamin D3, it's basically impossible to take too much of it, we're all seriously depleted and the "daily recommended dose" is merely the dose that prevents rickets. but vitamin D is used so much by the body, and immune system, that you can take 100 times the recommended dose, and be fine. the only cases ever where someone overdid vit D, is when they had some additional issue, or they took mg instead of μg, so, odds of you taking to much by taking two different supplements, basically nil
Just curious about the Vit C. As it like most vitamins and minerals, is water soluble, do you really find a benefit from taking multiple packets? I’m just thinking your body would only take what it needs & the rest say ‘hi’ to your kidneys and bladder I’ve had some terrible colds but I never thought high doses would help that much. I’m on it if you think they do.👍
Hi there, Can someone please tell me what workouts are included in the complete intermittent fasting bundle? I really need some assistance in what workouts I can do alongside 16.8 fasting and don't want to purchase if not much included. Thanks
I noticed that the D3 and k2 combo has 5000IU Vit D. Isn’t it a problem? Max recommended intake is 4000IU. Since it’s consumed every other day, it’s only 2500 but isn’t it way higher than the recommended 600iu?
I like to eat eggs and sausage or a big breakfast bowl with Greek yogurt, coconut, natural peanut butter, and berries or a cottage cheese bowl with the same toppings. Start with protein and add healthy fats.
Why are you not a fan of iodized salt? I have been searching specifically for iodized coarse salt for my salt mill because i thought it would be better. I have hypothyroidism, I take synthroid and a thyroid supplement
So about confused with the magnesium for the second one that you recommend two capsules. Isn't that only 300mg? I thought you needed 500mg to notice a difference in your previous magnesium video? So even 3 capsules isn't enough? Why only recommend 2 then?
I'd advise you to supplement magnesium and tryptophan. Also, there are many foods high in tryptophan which you can add to your nutrition. Tryptophan is the predecessor to melatonin.
I have a video coming soon with my little girl Sage :) But I also shared some pictures of her on my instagram if you want to check it out! AutumnElle_Nutrition on Insta
And DO NOT take supplements with Magnesium Sterate in them, it is a CARCINOGEN. I found that out & had to change out several of my (well name brand) supplements bc of this ingredient.
The last 3 days of August, Autumn!❤
Okay we need this wellness shot recipe!!! ❤❤❤

You're very welcome! Thanks for tuning in!
Hey Autumn, I’d love to see a video about your health drink using ginger, turmeric, garlic and lemon. How do you make it?
Thanks for the insight Autumn!
Love your content! Short and to the point! So helpful!
Hurray for magnesium being your go-to for sleep and anxiety. Too many people overlook these benefits 😊
And bone health
Magnesium is fantastic!

Purchased your protein today 😃!

I *hate* fishy flavor and the lemon flavored cod liver oil doesn't bother me much!
@@Dave-hb7lx thanks for the suggestion 😁
Do you have a recipe book? If not you should! I’d love to buy it
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing Autumn. 👍❤️🇨🇦

i take magnesium , protein powder, collagen , and electrolytes daily

Thanks for the infor on the supplements ... maybe in the future a video which supplements for female and male only if it really matters...
Autumn any supplements you’d recommend for 20 year old high triglycerides but good LDL and HDL? She’s fit not overweight at all in great general health otherwise. Fish oil? Cod oil?
🌞 Oh my Cod!!!!
🎣 I completely forgot about Cod Fish Oil! Thanks, Autumn! ⚘️
Cheers! 🕊❤️🧸
You are so welcome!
How long is your protein powder good for after expiration date?
Is there a better time of day to take supplements?
Why do you not like iodine in salt?
I love LMNT. Every morning i make a sipper of ice water, lemon juice, and 1/2 pack of LMNT. I have been losing weight and feel great.
Oh! I forgot to say 1 T of apple cider vinegar too!😊
Sounds delish!
Autumn will you start offering your whey for those of us in Canada?
Are you not worried about taking cod liver oil while pregnant? Many doctors advise discontinuing vitamin A (retinol) intake when pregnant, as it’s thought to cause birth defects. What are your thoughts? Very curious. Thank you!
Great video! Do you take magnesium at a specific time of the day? Should it be taken at night for improved sleep?
She takes about 1-2 hours before bed 😊
Hi Autumn -if you use lmnt , and if you take magnesium supplement, is that alright?
I personally take both!
Thank You!!! Hope you and baby are doing great!
@@AutumnBates
You look gorgeous today ❤
I take men's 1 a day and omega 3, is this good to take while dieting
Nice video - thanks! Not a fan of the brand of electrolytes you take. After trying them I switched to using Ballast electrolytes... FAR better.
The KetoChow electrolyte drops are amazing too. Not expensive like lmnt either. Easy peasy, just a couple of dropper full in my morning water is all you need for the day😊
Will a vitamin drink like Berocca break my fast.

Hi Autumn,if wholebread, breakfast cereal and oat aren't healthy choises what kind of breakfast is considered "healthy"?
I like to eat eggs and sausage or a big breakfast bowl with Greek yogurt, coconut, natural peanut butter, and berries or a cottage cheese bowl with the same toppings. Start with protein and add healthy fats.
Low carb..
Oats are very healthy so is wholemeal bread.. not sure on the cereal. As they differ.
Hi! I have some great recipes you can checkout here: ua-cam.com/video/YND0tg6olPE/v-deo.html
The last time I took magnesium as a supplement, it ended up causing constant loose stools, and diarrhea
Probably due to the type of magnesium you took. I have a video that shares those details here: ua-cam.com/video/fNST3b9juBQ/v-deo.html
How come you dont take any b vitamins?
l theanine took my headaches away which was unexpected.
is it connected to vagus nerve function?
good question!
Hm, I'm not sure on that one. I'll have to look into it!
How has pregnancy changed your nutrition? Fasting?
Why are you not a fan of iodized salt? I have been searching specifically for iodized coarse salt for my salt mill because i thought it would be better. I have hypothyroidism, I take synthroid and a thyroid supplement
It's heavily processed and minerals taken out. Redmond salt is the way to go imo.
Best salt for health is Celtic Sea salt. Next best is Redmond's or Himalayan salt. I use Redmond's.
Why are you saying TOOMERIC?
An R is the third letter.
So about confused with the magnesium for the second one that you recommend two capsules. Isn't that only 300mg? I thought you needed 500mg to notice a difference in your previous magnesium video? So even 3 capsules isn't enough? Why only recommend 2 then?
It depends on the type of magnesium used and how absorbable it is. Some are more absorbable (and therefore require less)
@@AutumnBates okay, so two of those pills st 300mg should be enough? Being using three for a while and didn't seem to notice a difference from 2.
Magnesium is life altering.
amen
I might have to try these i been struggling with sleep like I got none last night but I do take melatonin to try and help
I'd advise you to supplement magnesium and tryptophan. Also, there are many foods high in tryptophan which you can add to your nutrition. Tryptophan is the predecessor to melatonin.

Magnesium wakes me up at 3am. Any idea why that happens?
Which kind do you take? Taurate did that to me but glycinate did not.

Zinc?
You are so thin I want to see you pregnant - you probably look so cute! I love your explanation of magnesium.
You have the knowledge I want to learn about but please, please slow down! Your speech is irritating, IMO, and can’t tolerate after a minute.
You know that you can easily slow down any video with the click of a button on youtube, right?
Day by day you are becoming greedy. Your hist for dollars is compelling you to do evil things.
