@@fumomofumosarum5893Yeah but then you get heart problems or diabetes, while with smoking you get lung cancer. Now honestly speaking when it comes to your diet there's 2 things to consider, variety, since it's best to have a good balance of micronutrients, aka carbs, protein and fats, and daily calorie intake. If you understand these and keep them in check than you're going to be good, especially if you're fat and need to keep a calorie deficit. The problem tho is the sugary stuff because they have a lot of calories, especially drinks.

I hate regular gyms because I just find it all really boring. I started training martial arts at a club about 8-9 years ago and I'm there 5 times a week because I just love it, I barely even think about the physical aspect of it. I recommend it to people because it's an interesting and rewarding hobby with the additional side-benefit of helping you stay in good physical condition, but honestly I don't even care about that, I just like training and messing about with my mates at the gym.

I think the important part about exercise is to find something you enjoy. If something looks interesting, give it a try, maybe you'll enjoy it too. You don't have to be great at it or feel completely exhausted afterwards for it to be good :)
Also, I think the 150 minutes/ week is quite low so it doesn't feel impossible to be healthy for those just starting out. Doing more than that is definitely recommended.

The first is an image game played by huge corporations to make you feel like shit so you buy their product. The second is something you can do at home for literally fifteen minutes a day. A lot of the time, for most people, active stretching is really all the "workout" they need, simply improving range of motion and end-range strength to avoid injury.

For my teens, I actually have a pretty fun exercise hobby: marching band.
If you like music and want to learn an instrument, it's pretty fun. It also keeps you fit, since marching band is more than just parades, there's also competitions where you can be colorguard and dance (which doesn't require learning an instrument), or be in the pit (like me!), which is basically just standing still playing percussion during the shows if you don't like marching (like me).
Or, of course, there are other sports you can try, but I personally like marching band because I'm also in it. If you're in drumline, you also surprisingly get pretty strong (especially if you hold a bass drum, your back muscles get stronger).
You also don't have to be in highschool to join a marching band. There's college marching bands and adult marching bands.
Anyways, this was my rambling about my favorite hobby :)

This is why I believe that exercise should not be done simply because you wanna be healthy, but it should be done to be enjoyable as well. I have been to the gym before and to be honest to this kind of fun, but I believe that we should do most of our exercise naturally and not try to artificially push exercise into our lives. Almost time for exercise, but I do do things that are considered physical activity, such as participating in marching band, which involves A lot of lifting and physical movement. I also walk up and down multiple flights of stairs every day and I often use walking as a mode of transportation. I think the best form of exercise are the forms of exercise that don’t feel like exercise as in you don’t feel like you are forced to do it and that you don’t enjoy it, but you’re not just doing it because you want a good physique you’re Having fun And enjoying yourself

Heavy excercise strains your body. It is for drastically altering your body composition, and the thing to go to a gym for. Straining your body too much or for too long will start to break it.
Light excercising will keep you healthy, it won't mess with your metabolic rate, therefore you won't need to adjust your diet and you don't need a gym membership either. You can also do it during your day, like walking to places, taking the stairs, grabbing a basket instead dof a cart in the grocery store if that is an option for you.

  • @SvenskaIdioterna
    @SvenskaIdioterna 5 місяців тому

Well, their image of healthy is indeed a huge scam.
What you need is some decent exercise, like a walk or two a day. Muscle training is mainly for aesthetics unless you need the strength for something, but some moderate strength training can and will help you with various issues such as back pain etc, it's not wasted to go for at least one or two full body exercises a week, you can just do it at home with dumbbells while listening to music.
As for food, it's certainly no scam to eat a varied diet, but people overdo it. Just eating different things and including some vegetables and fruit daily is enough. No need for insane amounts of any particular thing or to get zealous about getting something every day.
There's a huge difference between healthy living and pretending to/appearing to be healthy by overdoing it with illogical methods, especially when it comes to the fools doing it for social media. For them, it's a crappy hobby that ends up misleading people with no clue about health.
A good diet and proper exercise along with good sleep are the cornerstones of mental and physical health. It's extremely important, but our bodies aren't so weak as to need babying. Some people survive on unhealthy foods or even the same nutritionless garbage every day for dozens of years and perhaps a vitamin pill or two. Back in time, we used to survive on basically the same types of food for long periods of times, as peasants you might survive on truly crappy and unvaried food and even then people survived quite long as long as they got enough of it. Far from optimal health, but people don't generally drop dead from a bad diet. It's usually something else, like getting deficiences due to medicines like proton pump inhibitors.
Let's not forget that stressing about health and forcing ourselves to adopt unrealistic diets is also unhealthy. If those people went to talk to an actual dietician, they'd get treated as a huge joke for their "miracle cures" and ideas of healthy eating.

The key to being healthy is a balanced diet out of mostly non processed foods, and a bit more exercise that you would need on a daily basis.
How you get there is really up to you. Just find a active hobby that works for you that hits at least most of your body

It's not complicated at all but wellness influencers can't sell anything on that so they convince you that you're unhealthy if you don't use their product. It's not a new thing. Gullible people will buy it, they will make money off of it, and the cycle continues.

Gym is not a hobby, for me at this point its just an obligation to myself so i don't die at 40. i spend around 4 hours a week at the gym.
I just wanna be built like an ox and be able to deadlift my car for fun/if necessary.
Jimming is easy, you just eat at least 1 gram of protein per lb of non-fat body weight per day, maybe try to get some carbs in your meal a couple hours before going into the gym. go in and do basic compound exercises (i.e. you pick heavy things up and put them down) and leave. if you feel like you're gonna puke you're probably just pushing your somewhat underdeveloped cardiovascular system too hard. i worked an office job for the last 2 years and when i hit the squat rack i could hit some decent weight, but i'd get really close to feeling nauseous. I like to do some light cardio on my rest days in the form of playing VR (yes some people dont consider this light cardio but i do, and its FUN.)
Theres nothing that is a "scam" about making up for the lack of physical movement that your body is kinda built to have on a daily basis. Some people just get it in their head that gym is an all or nothing thing and you have to push yourself to the limit and immediately burn themselves out. if you moderate yourself, only pick up weights that you can reasonably exercise and don't approach it like a psycho then its a more pleasant experience.

Trick is it to not take it all at once. Like don't eat 17 oranges in one sitting. Eat one per hour. If you're in convalescence and stuff. Or drinking. All night. Yep, you're gonna appreciate that extra vit-C. A LOT. You can thank me later.

I think you have to exercise but for something you really like, something you'd like to learn and improve.
To be more in tune with the video, for the supplements I'm 100% with you, a good diet will give you anything you need. And if it doesn't your doctor will usually tell you.

There is no magic here, consistency over time is the only choice when it comes to loosing weight, the only weight lost at liquid diets or starving yourself is muscle mass. Plus suplements are called that for a reason they suplement a good diet. Another mistake is think of a Diet as a finite process, but your diet is jus what you eat, no matter if it's good or bad, change your diet little by little to include more veggies and natural unprocessed foods if you can. Part of being healthier is the ability to go through physical exertion without spontaneously combusting, but this is only achieved by going through the physical exercise first. Sometimes its even weird stuff you wouldn't think would happen. For example: I used to have a lot of problems with the heat, and my blood pressure would often quickly drop if I got too hot or if I hit my knee too hard or something. Then I got into bodybuilding...
I now almost forget that these things were issues. Health isn't just about feeling good in the moment, but overcoming that which previously would have crippled you. I don't think about the weather anymore, yet it used to be a worry. Being healthy enough to function is sort of a bare minimum, and I didn't understand that then.
The body oftentimes does not tell you what it needs, because sometimes what it needs is to get kicked in the butt. That's how evolution works, species change according to external stimuli, and the body is the same way. Some things die along the way, but what survives is mighty. Great video! :)
