Besides, I would rather grandkids remember me for taking them fishing than for grandpa was alway gone on his Harley. So I feel like I’m catching up. These videos teach me a lot.

I don't have a boat myself but I do have a kayak and to be honest, during the warmer weather I'll take a day of wade fishing the creeks and rivers over a kayak almost always! Not much can beat a good day of fishing like that and that Zman craw and color that you're using kills it up here in central Ohio as well! Killer bait for sure! I am a riverbank fisherman here in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. I don't wade rivers here when they are very deep. We have the Saint John River here and the Nashwaak River that flows into the Saint John River. Smallmouth in rivers are great fighting fish

Well I waded a creek with my buddy labor day and he had a fluke tied on at first. I was catching more fish than him so I gave him the zman trd craw to try. He wound up catching more bass than me lol. I had the hot craw color on and he had the Canada craw color. I thought this color your using looked good too. Now I'm definitely gonna go get a pack to try.👊👍
I’ve been doing pretty good on the little coal with the Canadian craw color of the craws. I throw mine Texas rigged on a #4 ewg with an eighth ounce tungsten weight. Catches everything in the river including trout lol
Man that’s a beautiful river, I’m closer to the Cheat. Big Sandy, WV none the less 😉. I ditched the hip waders a while back though, they’re a death trap if you’re not careful, especially in deeper waters. Glad I found ya!
Only reason for the hip waders is that I’ve got a skin condition. The waters I fish down here are pretty contaminated so I just do it for safety plus it keeps the briars weeds and sticks off my legs. But anyway i’m glad you did find me welcome to the channel. Hope you enjoy!
I Grew up in southern WV. Have you looked into the New River fishing at Pipestem State Park? Ride the Tram down to the river and it's amazing river fishing.
I like to fish it this way just get hung up a bunch at least in most of the places i fish. Have you tried it on a drop shot with like a 4" leader....Trying to go out as much as i can as im a bank fisherman and we have about 5-6 good weeks left before the weather turns.

Depends on the current. Whatever it allows me to do. I do twitch the craw. I just don’t bounce it off the bottom because if I did, I would stay hung up. If I was in a slower moving water, or a lake, you would see more hopping. Caught a bunch on the Z man craw all different colors. everybody’s got different ways. They fish things it’s whatever works for me.
Mostly in current. Let it drift. I would stay hung up if I constantly drug it on the bottom. It’s not gonna stay on the bottom anyways with that current. You reel craw crank baits straight in don’t ya? You don’t always have to have bottom contact. Maybe I’m different.

You need to get the finese bullet rigs for the trd Crawl. They are the best jig set up for the crawz
