If using a hand file, use the draw file technique. Works much better.
Hold the file sideways, pull it down the length of the cutting edge.
Just look up how to draw file.

I use the same Oregon balancer along with an All American Sharpener which helps keep a straight consistent edge. Good video!

Thanks for the tutorial, Still not sure if i should hit the new Gator blades with the factory edge or not. Its very rounded and does not appear to be able to cut. I may just touch them up and see how it goes. Thanks again for the videos
