@@SoulOfTheSouth oh nah i wouldn’t put him in a Royce level category, i wouldn’t put a lot of southern rappers in that category to be honest. But TI is pretty lyrical for his style of rap. Like his verses on My life were nasty imo, it’s not super lyrical miracle or anything but just some smooth, clean bars. Nice word play, great rhythm and cadence, a lot of style. He’s not a punch heavy, metaphor kind of rapper…but he’s a really dope mc. There’s different levels to bar heavy, and he’s more in the stylized category for that
